back end maintenance?...
Server list merge! -
What would make me PvP? An active PvP community on my server. But I'm in Europe
-
That is an interesting question.
I'm going to hazard a guess and say that some of the final missions that take you from being a Praetorian/Vigilante into a Villain will involve your induction to the program. Or something like that. -
Quote:I guess it should be - I'll change that in the next updateOrion, wouldn't it make more sense for the "No Emote" costume change option to be under "Standard" and not "Special"? After all, it is standard to not have an emote to use at all, well at least it was before they were made.

Quote:Why does that option still even exist?A funny/frustrating thing about GMs taking on a hero or villain PC is that if the GM is not that familiar with CoH (NCSoft has a GM 'pool' that provides GM services for all their games such as Guild Wars and Aion), they may not realize that you have to enable cross-alignment chat for a hero to speak to a villain (as what needs to be done in Co-Op zones or PvP zones). So, it's been known for a GM to show up in a villain's mission after being summoned by /petition, and not 'hear' what you're saying since they don't have villain chat enabled. And they think they're being ignored and leave. If that ever happens to you, get on your global or help channel and ask someone playing a hero to send that GM a /tell to enable their villain chat.

Updated to v0.3 - Changes listed below
I've been working on these for a while and have been meaning to post them on the forums for others to use but kept putting it off to improve them, but now is as good a time as any to post them.
Anyway, they are a set of popmenu files that will allow you to remove all those rarely used sprints, vet powers, accolades, and other stuff into two small buttons. It also includes shortcuts to use every costume change emote with every costume.

Instructions
For those of you who know how to use these; click here to download them, then make a macro that creates the 'Start' popmenu.
For those who don't:- Close the game if you have it open
- Find the 'data' folder in your CoH directory (if you don't have one, make one) - It should be something like "C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\Data"
- Download this file and extract the 'texts' folder from it into your data folder
- Start up the game
- Type this, exactly:
Quote:/macro S popmenu start - Hit enter
- You should now have a button that says 'S' in your power tray, click that and you'll get a small menu up. Each option in this menu will create another button that will in turn open up one of the other menus
Change log
v0.3- Fixed Villain Power menu not spawning from the Start menu
v0.2- Fixed Vanguard Medal not working
- Added a Villan Power menu (Thanks to Evils for the help
)
- Removed the 'Hero' tag from the costume menu as it works for both factions
Please post any feedback/suggestions/requests here - I'd be happy to make a few variations of these if people want them.
Thanks, and I hope people find these useful

Quote:Sylarally?Or maybe she just got tired of all the attention and snapped and while eating everyone in Croatoa she happened to ingest a few people with 'super' abilities that somehow caused her to mutate and gain not only a higher degree of intelligence, but super abilities of her own along with an insatiable appetite for super people, so she set out to find the highest concentration of super people on the planet, intent on eating them all...
