Whoooo, I found someone to play with. I'll get around to picking up a pack or seven eventually What do I have to buy to get all the "how to play" stuff? I know it's not boosters..

Perhaps a biased opinion, but I'm really enjoying it. I bought 1/2 a box of Battle Packs and a box of Boosters. With that, I had the flexibility to build for almost any power set. I like that it doesn't play like any other card game I've tried.

IMHO, Its easier to pick up than magic and if you are familiar with the game the effects are mapped into the card game fairly consistently (ex: Slow = Discard a card to activate power).

I'm dissappointed, however, that when I activate a power I don't get to actually explode it out IRL as the Yu-gi-oh! animated series convinced me it should. (Not that I watch that, or that there's anything wrong with that if I did).

Just got word from Cuppa - she's grumpy PR got this out before them, and this will be officially out as a feature update tomorrow.

I'm anxious to *see* the new powersets, maybe roll a Thug MM (another alternate dimension Anti-Cat comin' up...).. but the Mayhem Missions/custom missions.. those will be amazing. I can't wait.

I wish I had been here for Beta/beginnning of the game (I joined a little after I1, IIRC) just so I could've had the chance to at least see Kiyote. I remember when Coyote was put in Outbreak.. but I really had no idea why until CoV Beta - I just thought the Devs decided to put an actual hero in there. But on the Beta boards, there was quite a lot of discussion about Kiyote and I finally figured it out.

From a listeners point of view, Kiyote seemed like the kind of guy that would be over in the Technical Issues forum helping people along, and in Atlas making sure all the lowbies got around okay. To me he sounded like the perfect guy to help you through the Tutorial.

I'm pretty much restating what Adar said, but without ever knowing Kiyote, only hearing of him. He's definetly someone I wish I could've gotten to meet.

I been playing CoV since the launch and my highest is still only about level 23... mostly because I'm playing a few lowbies and my heroes keep caling back to me. Also because my Ninjas kill so [censored] slow and die so much soloing takes forever. And all my friends are either higher then me, lower then me, or playing heroes. *sigh*
