Quote:I'm there for the whiskey , but boxing kangaroos is just a fail unless I get springs for my feet. Then we punch each other and grunt some more! And eat meat, like real men are supposed to! Then we drink whiskey and break brick walls with our heads and take no injuries because the sheer force of our manliness shields our heads when we headbutt stuff! Then we go out and beat up kangaroos in boxing matches!

Quote:The only one who can hold Batman accountable for the Jokers crime killing spree's is the Batman. Would he ever think -If I just killing him I am saving countless innocent people. Or does he think I'm obeying the letter of the Law - The Joker is Societies mistake. My guess is the former whicjh opens the intresting thought of giving Gotham what it deserves.Batman is the only person able to stop the Joker (Cops be gettin' nerfed in comic worlds, yo). Additionally, the insanity defense consistently finds the Laughing Lunatic virtually immune to any legal system repercussions. This binds the hands of every Law Enforcement Official in the Bat-verse.
So... when the Joker kills a thousand people, Batman insists on arresting him and giving him a "fair" trial. This lays the groundwork for the Joker escaping and killing a thousand people.
Can we blame Batman for not killing him in any of this nonsense?
Don't ask this guy. -

Odd, violence is always the last option and if you do with elan and overkill it is Final. At least for a while.

Quote:So I was playing *something* for my *thing* and noticed that instead of offering *things* it simply replaced what the *stuff* I would have expected from this kind of *item* with an open world.
Now, I love open world gameplay in other *things* such as in *that thing* or *that other thing* or even *the third thing* but in this *thing* it just felt tacked on and stupid. Any action that could have been scripted in this *thing* was replaced with sheer chaos since you could do anything at anytime with any weapon, unlike in other *things* where their lineal style gives the creators more control over story and setting.
So what are your thoughts on these *things*? Do we need more open world gameplay in our *stuff* or should *people who make things* stick mainly to the traditional *item* design?
My nephew plays[not to be mentioned] , he wanted me to try it . The game play was different and not to my liking . The graphics on [not to be mentioned] was quite good, and they did have intresting [redacted]. I think that experimintation is nice but traditional zones are useful to establish a game overall genre.Though I would like an open Moon Zone. -
I'm sticking with the Champions 5 th edition rules. A friend bought the Sixth edition and says it is needlessly complicated.

you know that reminds ne of those old Warner Brothhers cartoons of the Sheepdog and the Wolf drinking coffee then punching in to oppose each other. Ahh nostalgia for things wonderful that passed.

Quote:I enjoyed the Old DC Heroes game bt Mayfair , played Championd and Villians and Vigilantes some. Never tried Mutants and Masterminds. By the way Champions 6 th edition PNP game is out soon or already out.are they video games?
No?
Then there's no problem.
Not complicated.
I liked the old DC pen and paper game that Mayfair put out- never played it because Champions was better, but it looked like fun.
I haven't read an RPG in a while maybe I'll check this one out.
Is Mutants and Masterminds a good system? -

Quote:Ahhg my eyes , my Wife loves that color - she has a pink purse and pink luggage . Now Pink lancers . What a World. It is my belief that this does not constitute an infringement of the no video game discussion rule as per theOcho and seeing as there is print media of the series:
Now in styling pink!
Though how those could be useful if camo is necessary...maybe if it were raining unicorns? -

Ahh DC Comics usually love them . A small change to the Uniform. But enough to notice. -

That's funny but true. In the DC Universe Doctor Fate had to deal with Lords of Order and Lords of Chaos. Would Chaos not abhor haveing a Lord. Possibly an ever changing Chairman of Chaos would be better. Hey, is that position open- Rotating Chair of Chaos. Or I will settle for subcommitee on Chaos or a Cheeseburgers commitee seat.

Choclate chip or oatmeal, I don't believe in the whole bowing thing but might consider a blood sacrifice. Not mine, some random drifter or Rodeo clown - oh wait I should n't have said that . OOpsie , can I get a retcon and an order change for the better.

I believe Random Insanity might have been the start of this mess. But somebody needs to be in charge of it.[The preceeding was only meant as humor , please no diatribes or writing of Severe letters to the Times.]
