  1. Wonder of wonders I just got into my account yesterday. Answered the same questions the same way. I wonder if it is the stupid , hard to read code words.

How about adopting the attitude that you will play the game and enjoy your toons.. and when IT (It being incarnate rewards) happens..it happens.

And one more time: NO ONE is making you do incarnate stuff to enjoy your toons. If you have enjoyed them for the past 6+ years what has changed.. oh yeah.. your desire to be UBER/LEET/etc... Keeping up with the Jones' is always a frustrating race in ANYTHING you do in life (even in a casual game).
I don't want it know, I just want to be able to get it. I can not find anyone willing to do the Ramiel arc for any toon I WISH to advance . Everyone has moved on. Shards drops are slow , in the time since they stared I've got 8 . Now with Issue 20 coming people will move on to threads and leave eveything else. My point to the Devs is this is not like surfing and riding one wave but satisfying everyones desire to play the content
Oh, and one more time No one says we have to play the same way,and keeping up with the Joneses is a fools game but If the new content is not acccessible to the casual or solo gamer is it just for the hardcore grinders.
  4. never said that this game was designed for my specific personal preferences. However, and I think you will agree, this game was originally designed towards the casual gamer. Not the elite power gamer.

I do not see the "end game" being anything near casual friendly.
    Twisted Toon

This, What is the use of having a end game that few can participate in?

I'm locked out also. I would have liked to purchase something the other day but can't get in. I have not contacted support yet - I was hoping for NC/NC to fix this on there end.
  6. I 'd like to know how that was done . My scrapper has got 8 shards . I play about 4 nights a week for about 3 hours . The most shards I have got was in a ship raid when I got the last 3 to fill the Alpha Slot. I'm begining to believe that we are not to outfit more than one Incarnate as the there is not that much to do with them.

Yeah, I've heard the rah-rah before, "Well, *I* always invite whoever's around and even take special pity on the smelly losers." Thanks, the condescension feels so good. That's why these days if my character can't solo on x8 AND offer support to a team, then it's not worth my time to improve. Bye-bye fun concept builds!

From a practical game-design standpoint, I don't understand how the devs plan to develop new content with the competence spread of level-50 character builds increasing tremendously. Without going into specifics, we all know that even with SOs, some builds were hugely more effective than others. IOs exaggerated this difference between the most and least effective, and now Incarnate powers will do so again.

Will non-IOed, non-Incarnates be able to find a team at all soon? How many threads will there be to the effect that, "LOL, somebody actually expected to get an invite to the WTF, and he didn't even have a rare in his Justice slot?"

Then there's the question of what happens when somebody spends 9000 hours upgrading one character, and that power set then gets nerfed, or simply isn't needed for the Omega Task Force that all the cool kids are doing...
Intresting point you brought up about teams, 2 nights ago I was kicked from a team because I was just a lvl 50 no alpha slot unl;ocked.
  8. I'm ending up grinding for shards on one 50 . That takes so much time that I am no longer playing my sub 50 alts. I have one sitting at 45 that before shards was my big project to get to 50. My other 50's are not being used b ecause grinding for shards on one of them lessens the effect on my first Incarnate attempt.
  9. I am currently running Champs, and play Warhammer.
  10. They can quickly dilute there own news worthiness if they want but if this is true then Marvel is dead to me.

Intresting , I have made it past Trapdoor once witn a Mastermind but can't get him past the next mission with the Honoree. I guess I should be hesitant to say I've failed Trapdoor using a Widow and a Scrapper. But at 57 with arthritis maybe I just don't have the operating speed .
  12. I for one am having problem with the end game content . I play solo most of the time , but have tried to find a team to do the Trapdoor mission several times. This is on Triumph server at various times from Saturday at 2- 4 pm a Wesdneday evening from 6 to 8 pm . And other time as as late as Midnight. When this content went live I was still doing Praetorian missions. Lots of players were doing the Incarnates missions . Now finding anyone doing these on Triumph or Protector has been impossible for me. Others might say find a team , I have tried forming a teams or joining with no luck so far. So this content is inacceesible so far to me. Soloing a tleast gives you an option to move forwartd and explore content when teams are hard to find.

  14. I'm sure this move will end all hatred and bigotry in the world. On a side note don't anyone tell Canada about gangsta rap.
  15. Now you did it , you outed Hollywoods clone factory.

I'm not going to offer an exact survivor count they "should have used" because the "facts" in this case are pretty vague and speculative. But I will strongly suggest that given everything that is generally known about the background of Star Trek and the assumptions made about Vulcans and interstellar travel that the idea there would ONLY be around 10,000 off-world Vulcan survivors is a grossly low number for all sorts of reasons. Should that number have been more reasonably 250 thousand, a million, tens of millions? Who knows. But only 10,000? No, that just seems way too low all things considered.

It's quite likely Abrams picked the nearly improbable low number he used more for the dramatic effect to drive home the tragedy of Vulcan's destruction. Let's face it saying that there's only 10,000 left sounds a lot more dire than using a more "realistic" value like 5 million. Basically (once again for Abrams and crew) logic and rationality gave way to serving the silly meanderings of his ill-informed imagination.
Very close, now Vulcans can become the misunderstood , emo, sparkly galactic bad boys. So few - so tragic.
  17. WOW ! I am shocked, flabbergasted ,no nay awestruck that a major character in a comic book charaster will die in said book. Yeah right, they need a new schtick this one is old.
