Ok, heres a question. What about in the time heal over time? Will it proc multiple times while you get healed?

Why not? I use ED extensively.
  3. This is all very st-ish. In large groups of enemies, what are you going to do against groups bigger than 1 or 2 mobs? Just st everything to death? That is very slow and boring.

I ended up with drain/gloom/mgrasp/pbaoe for my damage. Shoving in the hold seems to not help much.
  5. I dunno. In Praetoria its possible to permanently kill off a contact you would need to branch both sides of a faction. In Loyalist, you can kill off (guy who I cant remeber) at level 9ish... and bam thats it. It seriously affected the rest of the possible mishs. Since I was going with (responsibility?) instead of curbstomping, it did not bother me much. But up until then I had somewhat been trying to do both sides of Loyalist. My char blue side is still 100% Loyalist, and frequently tries to convert others to the right side.

You actually use your ST hold? Outside of the occasional need to lock a boss down, between my always up fear and usually up aoe hold + +2 holdproc, things tend to be pretty locked down tight. I can easily solo -1/7 (I havent tried 0 or +1 yet), and find it to be quite enjoyable.
  7. TV is nothing without archnemisis Radio. Could they both be vying for the same type of power? Prometheus states that whoever ascends takes a huge chunk of a races power with them.

Both TV and Radio rely on humanity partaking in their world to gain power..... Kind of like taking handouts to ascend....

So if you shove that into heal and run perf and all three heals, thats not so bad.

    Level 50 Mutation Dominator

    Level 20: Haunt -- C'Arms-Acc/Rchg(A), C'Arms-Acc/Dmg(21), C'Arms-Dmg/EndRdx(21), C'Arms-Acc/Dmg/Rchg(23), BldM'dt-Acc(50), BldM'dt-Dmg(50)

    Umbra Beast[/b] -- ExRmnt-Acc/Rchg(A), ExRmnt-Acc/Dmg(33), ExRmnt-Dmg/EndRdx(33), ExRmnt-Acc/Dmg/Rchg(33), BldM'dt-Acc(43), BldM'dt-Dmg(46)
I went 6 ex-reinforcements into umbral, and put 4 call to arms into haunt and 2 more def/res procs from the regular pet sets.

This got me both res and both def, for 20 res and 10 def. When you add in my 7% from link minds and 3% from man, I run 20% def and 20% res _before_ native pet values.

Umbral ends up with 45% res s/l, 70% res to neg, 35% res eng, 20% def to all.
Haunt ends up with 50 neg, 40 s/l, 20 def.

Thats some good durability for some generic pets contributing generally to your combat, along with 12.50% rech, 1.5% health, 2.5% recov, and 3.13% ranged def.

  15. Even if you didnt get profit because you are stuck and work and cant do anything, at least you are set for life with whatever it is you want. At some point the value of those will go back up, and you can sell them if you want, or just keep them.

Personally, I feel stupid having spent 30 amerits on a 3%. But oh well.

edit: Plenty of other places to make profit too.

I am running +7.5, def, adjusted targeting, and membrane. That turns out to be 80+ rech, and a lot of def. I may pull the pure def lotg. However it gives 6+ def at the moment, so...

I have just 2 stam, so I ended up having to put a pure endredux into man with a 7.5. Veng got slotted with 7.5 and 2 membranes (heh).

Veng slotting gets me 29.75% def when up, 41.65% tohit, with 66% rech, making it easily perma. I just need veng bait....

cj is slotted 7.5, mind over body with 2 3% defs and +5 end and +5 res reactive, hover with 2 zeph and 1 7.5, man with 1 7.5, link minds with 1 7.5 for all 5 7.5 bonuses.

I have a few slots shoved into mindnight grasp, but drain 6slotted.

I run the ATOs (nonpurp yet) in the fear, and consistently have 1, or 2 stacked, depending on kill rate. Due to lack of global acc, it is kind of hard to get a 95% hitrate at +3 and beyond.

I also am finding I have WAY too many things to push that I want to push.

fear, aoeimmob, HoD, field, gloom, pbaoe, drain, boost, (maybe nightfall), mgrasp depending on location, ugh.

    Too much to click!
  18. 22-42?. I think 42. MG, were you on ITF with me? I was Tundra Redemption with the dark/dark/psi dom stuck locking down the poofys.

This may be why Paragon City is more often the focus of dimensional attacks than the Rogue Isles. The Freedom Phalanx is not going to sanction large scale killings. Meanwhile Lord Recluse probably has no problems with sending Mako, Black Scorpion, and a legion of troops 600 years into an alternate past and telling them to go nuts.
We have not seen Praetoria actively use time travel (we only get 30 levels of mishs). However, they have access to oro from Praetoria. And Cole was able to open a portal between Primal and Praetoria via brute force, as in Apex's tf where he sends BM and a TON of warworks through the portal to earth. It definitely isn't a oneway street to Praetoria.

I agree, I went a different direction as well. However, I slotted the ATO into the fear (two guarunteed stacks of damage) and cloud senses in the immob, (stupefy in heart of darkness....)

I am kind of upset, because I am slot poor and slotted 2 slots into dark blast early on thinking I would use them. I really need to get those 2 slots out of dark blast. :|

    Possessing an AV

But a plain even-con AV should be perma-possesable under permahasten/permadom 6slotted with Coercive Persuasion, right? I have never tried this and think it could be fun to try with my dark/dark.
  23. You can proc out jolting chain if you felt the need. I run an elec/psi and she is a total monster, soloing +2/8 at 5(1). Even without incarnate junk, she can still hold her own at 0/6 - 0/8 from the 30s to the top.

CA should definitely frankenslot between heal and endmod. It is one of your major sappers in melee range (where you should live all the time), and not boosting its endmod means it takes longer to contain threats against you. Why take probe if not taking tkthrust? Sure, it does kb, but if you are fighting anything of note, its res to your kb anyway. Besides, it's a. a good finisher, and b. its good for agro management (chuck the most irritating mob away from you in melee till you can hold/immob it.

I totally do not know what you are trying to go for with your build. You may want to go back to the drawing board and rethink how you are doing things. If you are going with ice armor, you might as well maximize your s/l def. Picking up weave is a waste of time, since its a drain on end and can easily be countered with better slotting. My build has no boxing, tough, or weave, runs 50% s/l, permahasten/permadom, and perma dp.

Frankenslotting DP between endmod/heal works better than just the 3 heal you have, since with weave/tough running, you will have that extra end drain. Restoring from dom is great, but its not available to restore end all the time. You may find that, esp with elec/psi, that you are burning end at a prodigious rate just with the rech you have at perma.

Keep in mind that you will have at minimum +60% acc. Based on this, you may find it better to swap an acc out of each power and replace it with something that provides more end redux, more damage, or more rech.

tl;dr: Think you could do better, take a larger view to your dom, not just rech rech rech.
  24. You know what pisses me off?

    Cure Lost/Rescue Percy.

ON EVERY CHARACTER. Why why WHY must I do this mission on any char I ever want to run the ITF or Cim mishs on?
