  1. I second what werner said.
Also the theft of essence proc is a must. Let me put it this way jump into a group of mobs and almost empty end and get a full heal and end. I have never had it not proc at least once when using it. But I can't count the amount of times where I have used it and restored both my health and end.
  2. Macros. I have done it with my ninjas. The only issue you will have if pets switch names. Then again that bug has been fixed then bugged again. I don't currently know if they are still.
  3. Wrong MM were developed to be the Tank for redside. That is what they were intended to be. Now that isn't how they were being used and as such the devs decided to abandon that idea.
  4. Yes I know how defensive works. But I always tell my pets who to attack. I remember back in the day you couldn't trust the AI to attack the right thing anyways. Having to control your pets is part of being a MM. And it isn't that hard. Hey at least you don't have to tell your pets to go into melee for each mob so that they melee, grr stupid ninjas. Microing your pets isn't all that hard. And if your going to be controlling your pets there is no reason why not to use BG mode. You do realize that MMs are actually supposed to be the Tanks redside, well was supposed to be it but yeah most people don't do that.
  5. Um. You need to look at your pet area.. Sorry but defensive has nothing to do if they attack or not. You have 3 modes Aggressive, Defensive, Follow. You have also several commands to. Attack my target, Follow, Go To, Stay. Putting your pets on defensive has nothing to do with if they attack or not. And if your pets arn't on defensive you are in fact causing trouble for the team. One it is harder to control your pets, two the healer is going to have to heal your sorry butt all the dang time.

Being a defensive MM is one thing. But pets should always be on defensive in a fight. Then I tell my pets who to attack and where to go. But that doesn't matter for any mode. You have to control your pets period. You can't just stand around and expect the AI to do everything for you. My thug/pain I keep my pets in defensive then after the tank grabs aggro I tell them to attack his target. And I then switch to different targets when needed. And while doing this I am sitting with the main group healing people, only charging in to use anguishing cry and only after the tank has full control of the mobs.

And by the way a MMs pets can contribute more damage then most toons, if done right. But you have to control them. There is a reason while a full team of MMs can just steam roll about anything in the game.
  6. K. Yeah I know alot of people that use it. Some of them Veterans I was like how have you been able to play MMs for so long.

Well hey on the bright side I bet your pets last longer then my ninja/ta MM. Ugg they are a huge pain in the butt. But I did it on purpose to myself. Made a bot/ff and a ninja/ta hehe.
  7. Are you always keeping your pets in defensive mode. I repeat Always. Change your attack my target macro and remove the aggressive. Bodyguard mode is when your pets are in defensive and there is never a reason to put them on aggressive.

The issue is if you have them aggressive even if there is someone tanking they will find some new mobs that the tank hasn't been able to grab. Second is not to send your pets in till the tank has got his group, of mobs, ready for you. Cause MMs can dump alot of damage fast, my thug/pain, I have to make sure the tank has all the mobs cause any mob that he doesn't have is going to go on my pets. Oh and yes my arsonist draws alot of aggro. The only reason I don't have to keep recasting him is my heals. Well that and he is now in a all Thug MM SG. If we get a full team all our pets are soft capted.
  8. Can't wait to hear any news on how this affects masterminds.

    2-XP for AE?

In the past it has been either they couldn't get it working in time, they couldn't do it 2 times. And the third was cause there was a exploit out in AE that they didn't want to help people PL even more.
  10. Well for one I can easily triple stack Siphon Speed with just 2 generic recharge IO. And no it isn't hard to triple stack. It speeds up each time. It isn't hard to get the recharge up after a crash, like dieing. Yes you spam it when it is up but that isn't hard to do. And on my Ill/Kin there isn't anything else I am doing much. My issue is more with keeping all the rest of Kin out there. Fulcrum when it is up, tranfuse, tranfer, PA, spectral, flash. Well I tell you you don't get bored. Just spam everything over and over and over. Then again you don't slow down either. If you keep up with this you blow through most stuff.

On another note you got some wrong pairings. 2 Empathy defenders do some amazing stuff with just foritude. If they buff each other then they have enough recharge to buff a full team of 8.

    2-XP for AE?

I respect AE. Just the question respect it for what. Tehehe. Nah I love the many things it can do. XP is just a good thing it can do.
  12. Soft cap easier. Way easier. Oh and do less damage. tehehe.
  13. Oh I do have that day job rez. But since fitness is inherent now and I am getting anyoed having to keep him logged out more often to get more charges. I did that to be a team player. Siphon Speed I was looking for just a bit more Recharge that set provides 3.75% recharge and the proc in that I see procing a lot since that is spammed all the time when it is up must keep it stacks as much as possible. I guess it is a price you pay trying to Perma PA. This way it is bearly Perma, I could put 5 slot Posi in fireball but I am already full on that recharge from sets.
  14. This is what I was thinking for my build. PA is perma just barely. I you don't see it remember to make siphon speed stacked 3 times cause it will easily be stacked that much. I didn't try to soft cap him or give him much Resistance. That is what I got my pets for. Oh I spam Transfusion and Transference whenever there up. So I should keep the proc in Transfusion up all the time. This is my toon to do TF/Tips/AE. Aka the toon to earn all the stuff I need for each of my other toons.

Is there any changes you would make enhancement wise? How does the build look?

  15. I cant remember the way to do it. But I have in the past had the screen stretched to be on both screens. Aka full screened over 2 monitors. No point really in doing it.
  16. Dark/elec brute is pretty hard to get killed. Great for AVs.
  17. If you don't want to be bored dual boxing MM. Make a pair of Ninja/TA MMs. Yeah your going to get pissed fast. It is fun but...
  18. I am guessing that we want to stay redside. Since switching kicks you from a VG. You can join if your from pretoria and end redside.

And from what I understand us people redside can join you for your missions but you can't join us till your a villian.

No not the Pron. Or is that supposed to be at the party.
  20. Yes accepting any thug mm. New or old. Most are new.
If you need a invite my character is Merlin's Gang. And I can invite you.
  21. As far as what I meant by security clearances. Most people I have known end up starting at a higher rank cause of the security clearance not get promoted cause of it.

But then again the show kind of messes up that little issue. Since there is Privates at the SG base. Sorry but that is a load of bull. If your going to go something that secret you either start higher then that or do not get transferred there till your higher.

And as I said. Your top enlisted ranks and top officer ranks do not have a time in service for them. They have a suggested time. But the time in service are for the lower stuff.

Also your job can start you at a higher rank.
Well and also the fact that this is the air force makes somewhat of a difference.

But the issue is Now days they are trying not to promote men. The military is trying to cut back. And one way it to make sure there is not a lot of people up there.

Oh funny enough were missing one point. These people arn't directly tied to the Air Force.
Think of it more like the Delta Force of the Air Force. They may not talk about it a lot but they are off the books. Well until recently in the show.

    0-2 - 2nd Lt - 18 months - Fully qualified (nearly 100 percent)
    0-3 - 1st Lt - 2 years - Fully qualified (nearly 100 percent)
    0-4 - Captain - 3 years - Best qualified (80 percent)
    0-5 - Major - 3 years - Best qualified (70 percent)
    0-6 -Colonel - 3 years - Best qualified (50 percent)

So it's very possibe for someone who goes to college/ROTC or a military acadamy and graduates around the age of 24 to be a colonel by the time they are 40.

And that's not counting things like battlefield promotions or the automatic increase in rank that comes with certain military awards for heroism.
And promotions cause of security clearances.
Oh and the fact the higher ranks arn't that much time based as ability based. Aka you don't have to be that old to be a General.
  23. Now what would be more insane if he was using track balls. Then again it is possible to use a 1 track ball for 2 computers easily.
  24. okay you 2 quit arguing. and back to the orginal topic. Well have fun at your party to bad i wont be able to make it.

If ever we chose to take that route -- and actually waste precious Inf by converting it to Prestige -- we could dump so many tens of Billions down the rabbit hole that they could never keep up.

I think that is what he is trying to do. And the same thing is happening on Virtue. Marketeers are doing something nice and doing a "HUGE" inf dump. which means less surplus inf. Now do I say that the SG is really a SG NO.

It is cool that you guys are doing this. I wish my old SG was around on Liberty. But please think of this guys SG as more of a attempt to take excess inf out of the system, which is a good thing. If he makes it to even spot 2 that is a good thing. Just disregard it as competition. And it is very nice to see a long running active SG.
