Keep up the good work TonyV and the rest of the ParagonWiki staff. I don't mind a little wait.

I would love to have the Eyeball parts, would fit well for a outfit for my Blood Demon.

Bad Idea: Using RMT sites.
Good Idea: Teaming with Friends. -
Quote:Not sure if i was the one who found it 1st or not but it's where the +Regen/Reco Proc would not be slotted, I had bought the set on the beta sever for a char and it was not letting me slot it and saying it was too weak to use like i out leveled it.Just popping in here to update you guys regarding an item we had to remove from the Black Friday sale:
- Late yesterday we discovered a fairly egregious bug with the Numina's Convalescence set, so we made the decision to pull the item from this weekend's sale. Once we fix the bug we'll give everyone another chance to purchase it.
Sorry about anyone who was anticipating this one, however we felt it was important to fix the issue prior to people paying Paragon Points for it.
Thanks and Happy Turkey Day everyone!

Quote:Okay, i'm starting to get your point a bit. Your'e talking about Name/Concept huh, I can see that making people confused on a few things. So ya i see the point in the name not fitting the more pointy types like Spears but if there's a spear for it i'll make one other wise maybe now. Serpent's Reach seems like a spear stab like move.I was expecting TW to be smashing/lethal to be honest. So no surprise about the sword. Other than size, Titan Weapons does not restrict what kind of weapon is being supersized. Heck, they could make giant beam guns and it would still fit the concept.
Staff however, says staves to me. Not spears, javelins, rods, halberds or other things with hooks or sharp/cutting bits at the end, which possibly apart from Innocuous Strikes won't fit the animations. Still, at the end of the day, it's more options so... meh.
Side note, Sorry if i sound kinda 'mean' in the 1st reply, i was JUST waking up when making that post after a few hours of sleep, been having trouble sleeping lately. -
Quote:Want to know something funny, Titans is Smashing too. yet it gets SWORDS.If Staff Fighting is supposed to be Smashing damage, how can you justify using any sort of piercing/cutting weapon? Wouldn't that make it smashing/lethal?
Personally, I just want a Pau Santo staff (guess you guys call it lignum vitae) with the option of having it with or without metal cap endings (Osmium cap endings would be awesome though). -
Bad Idea: Blaming the Emp for anything.
Good Idea: Having Debuffs. -

I know the feeling, the idea of 2 of my Favorite toons (aka on the front page of Chars) is getting a buff. Thumbs Up! Can't wait for the beta testing, hope the copy tool will be ready by then.

And please, don't pre-tint them. If I want them to be black black or white white or neon blue, let me do so. I don't want five indistinguishable shades of silver. -
Glad that im on a yearly plan, and the renewal date is in Oct.

Dang, got to wait a while for the info, well i guess i can wait.

Quote:Funny, i see it the other way. But I'm evil like that, why? I was on a STF on my Blood Demon and the tank(shield) died at one point, so i rez them and about a minute later as go to agro LR they start puking(1000Mag hold for 4secs).Single target, like all the others. And yes, it's worth having. The rez is more skippable IMO.
To note this was a Team of friends all of us where on skype having a fun time and someone said "Hello Lord Rec*Fake puking sounds" we got a kick out of that. My sides where hurting till we finshed, you know how hard it is to fight LR when the whole team is laughing.
Now for the OPs Q, it really depends on how your friend is going to play the poison, taking the buff is not a bad idea but as someone said don't waste any slots on it. the base 15% Res to Toxic and the 15% Res to toxic in the heal stack for 30% so it can help the tanks that have little Res to Toxic VS AVs with Toxic attacks. -
Quote:I got a blue version for a Water/SharkLike Based character.Doubt we'd get that in a rated T game, but yeah, Slime colored red works great. On a semi-related note, I've also found that coloring it blue can make it look a bit like water dripping off your character (I guess it doesn't make much sense to have water perpetually dripping off your character, but it's just the idea that your character has recently risen from the sea, like some sort of sea creature).
So yeah, red and blue look great. Brown though...not so much.
Quote:What you got a problem with a poo trail? Sounds like a great aura for a sewer themed hero/villain.
Hellion: What the <bleep> is that awful smell?
Hellion's Girlfriend: Oh My God! It's Sewer Man!
Sewer Man: Halt Villains!
Hellion: Run!
Hellion's Girlfriend: I give up! Just don't touch me!
-
Not sure if they will ever make it, but i like the idea. so /signed
But for you're Blood fix use Slime colored red, it's on my main outfit for my Blood Demon. -
8 days without reply, guess my idea is shot.

I'm going to say no to this idea, what you don't know is that the NGas has a VERY powerful mag hold vs Humans only, it checks about every second and last about 1 or 2 secs to animate the barfing.
If it got turned into a toggle that would go bye bye and i don't want that. It's why i love my Poison. Its unique.
"The vomiting Hold effect is rare (less than a 1% chance of occurring per half-second), unaffected by Enhancements and buffs, and applies only to human critters and to other players in PvP, but it has enough magnitude to surpass any protection in the game and is unaffected by status resistances and PvP mez suppression.
The debuff values vary depending on the tier of henchmen the power is used on; the debuffs seem to be at 75% strength on a tier 1 pet, 100% strength on a tier 2 pet, and 125% strength on a tier 3 pet."

I'm making this in hopes the current bug with Base's helps with my idea.
Add new room type that flags items for "BvP", even as a joke that a few made(even Zwil) I myself would love this. Much like we have Decal/Def type rooms.
I made a Danger room with Fire Turrets and called it the Fire Shower since it's for the Fire User's in the SG. I would have fun making rooms like this since it's a 2 man SG.
The Idea is simple but making it work might not.
A Danger Room will turn(flag?) any Base item in the room like it was in a base raid.
Thus allowing us to see how well we stand up to the Base Items.
Which brings a 2nd idea of making more/new Base Attack Items (even if there locked to badges like the 200 CoT Missions). Hopefully this will allow the idea of NPCs to be put in at one point too.
Very sorry if this don't sound easy to understand.
Edit: add to it something like: destruction of these things should not give any reward (xp, inf, drop). so the danger room can be used just to stress test your toon and if possible also a "reset to saved setting" would be nice to set the room up immediately -
I'm working on mine right now. Danger Rooms ftw for base's!
-
Ya this is a bug i like but now i cant enter a few of my rooms >.> but now to go work on a danger room while this is still live.
-
Funny thing is, i put this in the Bug Forums in beta long ago.
Quote:Here's a fun bug i found, i set a Base Def Item(I.E. Chain Gun) and it started to attack me and i could attack it.
Edit to add: It seems anything that can be attack via raid(long gone) can be but it's you're own base so you can raid yourself. So one can lay down a few items to blow up then exit editor and destroy it for some small influ(26 i was getting on CGs) then sell it back for the same Pres that it was brought with.
