My personal favorite solo AoE death machine is my Bots/Traps MM, followed by my Crab Spider. -

Vigilante, unless I could be made an honorary police officer. -
Was it one of the story artcs that got the Praetoria revamp? Because I was in the middle of Maria's arc, and it automatically got replaced.
Not sure if you can rerun it via Ouro (if it's part of Maria or Tina's pre-I18 arcs, you can), but defeats the purpose of having that exact mission "bookmarked," so to speak. -
Would love some sort of MA secondary for Blasters and Corruptors. Could include effects for lite control, such as Stun, pressure point attacks as debuffs, channeling chi for self buffs... there are a lot of possibilities that would work thematically.

Yeah, there's no way to "Xerox" a character. Because certain things are tied to your character on the database, especially Inf, recipes, salvage, etc., allowing such a feature, even at additional cost, would break things like inter-player trading and the Markets.
The only thing you can do is transfer the one character to whichever server you wish, or copy a character's costume in the tailor and re-reroll him/ her on another server from Level 1. The only tricky bit would be to ensure that your character's desired name is available. -
Well, I've tried every single suggestion, including ALchemy and altering the registry manually, and still have no 3D Sounds. I am starting to understand how Bill feels about this subjected. I've wasted hours of my time trying to fix something that was never broken and therefore should have never been "fixed."
I've updated my support ticket accordingly. Will be morbidly curious to see where this takes me.
Edit: it's being escalated. -
They're working on it some weird mass transit ideas already.

Anybody got any tips? Started tackling this last night and wasn't able to get it to work. I suppose it doesn't help that ALchemy has the least intuitive user interface known to man.
Also filed a GM report... they told me to turn down my video settings. Guess they couldn't be bothered to read that whole thing I wrote about 3D SOUNDThey did ask me to run the Game Advisor though, which is a plausible step towards finding a solution, so I'll be doing that. If nothing else, I'll be one more person bugging them about why this now doesn't work (when it worked pretty well in I17).

Make sure your shortcut is correct too. For a while, I couldn't figure out why the updater always needed to patch, until I realized that for some reason my Live and Test Server shortcuts were pointing to the same directory.

Tarantulas as a playable AT? I'll tell Mr. Bruce to prep that shotgun for his cranium so he won't have to worry about making a billion new animations for a non-bipedal frame

Happy Birthday Snow Globe
Also Shard, you'll be pleased to know that I cannot un-see that -
What you're looking for is called a Super Group (or a Villain Group). If you're playing Going Rogue, you won't be able to join one until you leave Praetoria at about lvl 20.
However, there are also plenty of global channels like Triumph Watch 2.0. You can join these and chat about the game with or without an SG.
Edit: Also, welcome to the game -
So what happens when I kill Weston Phipps and then get a Tip Mission where I can choose to beat th snot out of him? Talk about continuity errors.
-
Ick, it took a ton of bug reports and PMs to get this fixed the first time. Hoping it can be addressed more quickly if this is happening again.

All Praetorians have moustaches that they twirl. They also tie poor maidens to the railroad tracks. You can decide to either rescue those maidens or drive the train over them. No worries, it's all Comic Violence (Rated T for Teen and all that).

Quote:Wow, it's been out for a whole week. Those of you who aren't in the know should play fasterGR has been out for a week now, and any discussion about the game setting will involve details about the set up of Praetoria - if you want to try and avoid even the most basic info on the setting, avoid any threads discussing Praetoria.

The new Going Rouge feature allows characters to make themselves look like they've caked on a ton of makeup. Naturally the new Clown MM set takes advantage of this new tech in an extreme fashion.
-
It's a good PR piece. The camera zooming on on Matt every question seemed a little silly, ala Wayne's World "Extreme Close Up!"
Edit: great, now I want four more monitors -
Quote:No, that's exactly correct. You get your 30 days, but as with most other MMOs, you must enter a game card or credit card when you Activate your account. This game requres a game card or credit info regardless. It will not charge your card for the first 30 days if you use a credit card. That's where the free 30 days comes in. Of course it's been a few years so I hope I'm remembering correctly.
But yes, you can deactivate the card once the account is activated, leaving you with the free 30 days of game play. -
Quote:Blindingly obvious to whom? People who read the forums incessantly or the new players?None of those are plot twists or spoliers - they're all blindlingly obvious
You seem to have a rather fuzzy idea of what exactly a spoiler is
"Blindingly obvious", you see, is relative and subjective. -
Quote:Even with all of the more blatant trolling going on in this thread, I must agree. And within three posts of the OP too :/I wanted to stay in this thread and then Golden Girl started spewing out spoilers like a smashed fire hydrant. Slowly backing away...
Edit: To clarify, I'm calling you out specifically, GG, because the OP said "Mild Spoiler" before stating the premise of the game. You were the one that literally posted a list of the plot twists in Going Rogue.
I'd ask you to edit it, but it's already been quoted, so it wouldn't do much good.
