    Thanks for help guys

Freedom being the largest server has the largest PVP community*. Most of my friends on Justice transfered their PVP characters to, or leveled characters on, Freedom just for the PVP scene there. There are a lot of cool people over there. Since it is the most populous server, by default, there are a lot of undesirables too. You just need to be able to ignore the idiots, which isn't all that difficult if you apply the ignore function liberally.

    *in my experience

This maybe a bit off topic, but the quoted section of your reply was bugging me, so I had to say something.

The death penalty here in CoH is laughable and may as well not exist at all since nobody even bothers looking at debt anymore. The death penalty in WoW, where the OP came form, is substantially more severe than the one here. Gear degradation, temporary debuffs, corpse runs, etcetera. Not to mention the penalty for reviving at the cemetery instead of making the corpse run is 2.5 times the damage to your gear and Res Sickness on top of what it would have had you gone for your corpse.

If I misunderstood what you were trying to say, i apologize.

I did the same with my controller, took him villain and started it, went rogue half way through and was still able to complete every arc from Black Scorpion and get the Userper badge.

    This is true.

IMO, Black Scorpion's arc is the easiest one if you're not interested in the actual story and just want to unlock the powers.

You talk to the arbiter that stands just outside the door to the tower in Grandville to start the patron arcs and choose which one you want to be your contact.

It's all about cross-training! Many athletes play alternative sports for fun and to work their non-primary-sport muscles, especially guys like Jeter who play one of the more physically active positions on the diamond (shortstop).

... plus, anything with the Air Jordan logo sells like hot cakes.
I should put that logo ON hotcakes... No, no, that's dangerous thinking. That could cause a world ending paradox or something.

    I mean:
    Code:
    if Hotcakes = Hotcakes

    and

    Air Jordan logo = Hotcakes

    then

Hotcakes + Air Jordan logo = Hotcakes²
At the very least, we'll run out of Hotcakes and the world will be forever without Hotcakes. I just can't let that happen. A Hotcake shortage is exactly what caused Skynet to send a terminator back in time to kill John Connor.

It's my duty. It's my curse.

For some reason, I made it a point to remember what they were at the time. They didn't convert to sales in my case because the products advertised were overpriced crap.

Contact support either by telephone or a ticket and see what they can do for you. They may be willing to change it for you, especially since it could sound kinda dirty if you really have a twisted mind(like I do)

    Pistol belt?

yeah I was able to do a pretty good one with my Peacebringer.

Sadly we don't have access to the PPD or RIP sleeves to have the official logos. for those police uniforms.

(I don't like posting full sized photos, so here's links)

What I really would like is a gun belt like on that uniform. Any idea where to get it, was it limited release?
The whole uniform is available for everyone. The belt is in the creator under Upper Body - Belt. It's called Official. The cop shirt is actually under Jackets - Jackets It's called Official Shirt.
  14. Heck, in theory, we now have the ability to get 4 HOs in a day. LRSF, STF, Hero Hami, Villain Hami.

I didn't pick up GR until about two weeks ago, so it may have been that way initially or during beta and a patch fixed it afterward.

That's not true. You always zone in on whichever side you entered the base from.

Just tested it on several characters, both vigilante and rogue, to make sure I wasn't crazy. Every time I zoned from Atlas i zoned into the Paragon side. Everytime I zoned from Grandville i came in on the Rogue Isles side. Didn't matter which alignment I was.

Pocket D, Vanguard base, Midnight club, or the submarine in Sharkhead Isle that takes you to Ind. Port.

I wasn't saying they were, I was just saying that if the ads fit context, I'm okay with them.

Honestly, I think this is partially where the program went wrong from a consumer opinion standpoint. It's likely the advertising companies weren't okay with having the ads damaged and aged and showing up as old blown out billboards if the team that did the final drafts even considered that idea. If I remember right, the companies would submit a few ad ideas, the team approves or denies them and implements them in game.

Add that to a lack of diversity in the ad art and just too few advertisers jockeying for ad space, and you have a failed program.

It's sad because there are just some minor changes to the implementation that would have been needed and they would have been a success.

I am a bit surprised at how many people were offended by this. To improve the product they had to look at a real ad and not a pretend one. No problem here and I am not sure why others were upset over this. Very common these days but ah well. Who knows what actually happened to the ad system.
That was my look on it too.

As long as the ads fit the setting of the game, I'm all for it.

Hell, if given the opportunity I'd totally play a character like Captain Amazing. Especially if being a sponsor ***** got me free gametime

For the most part yeah, but a Corruptor has a higher damage modifier and a lower buff/debuff modifier while a defender is the opposite.

I want to say as a general rule of thumb the Corruptor buffs and debuffs are about 2/3 the strength of the defender version, though it's been a while since I've dealt with the raw numbers of the game, so I could be off a bit.

    edit:

Here we go, poke around this page to check out the base numbers for the power sets.

    edit 2:

    An example from Transfusion:

    Corruptor:

    Quote:
    Target:
Summon Transfusion (1s) (PL_StaticObject) at Target
    Endurance -0.13 PvE only
-3.663 Endurance If target is a player
Regeneration -0.5 for 20s PvE only [Ignores Enhancements & Buffs]
-3.979 Regeneration for 20s If target is a player [Ignores Enhancements & Buffs]
    Defender

    Quote:
    Target:
Summon Transfusion (1s) (PL_StaticObject) at Target
    Endurance -0.12 PvE only
-4.163 Endurance If target is a player
Regeneration -0.5 for 20s PvE only [Ignores Enhancements & Buffs]
-4.974 Regeneration for 20s If target is a player [Ignores Enhancements & Buffs]

I doubt it will. From what I can tell from whats been said so far there aren't any real changes being made to the powers themselves beyond moving them from a selectable pool to the inherent section.

In all seriousness though, my vote goes to a Kinetic, particularly a Sonic/Kin Corr or a Kin/Sonic Defender. Combine the damage increases granted by Fulcrum Shift and Siphon Power with the damage resistance debuffs of Sonic attacks and you'll be busting the damage cap with impunity. Toss in Speed Boost, Transfusion and Transference to keep the Brute going strong and fast, and it makes a pretty deadly duo.

    Just my two bits though.
I second this. A Kinetic Corruptor or Defender is one of the best, if not the out-right best, compliment for a Brute.

None that I'm aware of, though running the game in windowed mode will allow you to move it to a second monitor. This also leaves your first monitor open for use without forcing the game to minimize.

This is what I'm wondering myself. I'll gladly sign an NDA if it means I get to test. Alpha and beta testing are among the few things that I still enjoy in most MMOs.

  25. I bind /requestexitmission 1 to a key on every character I make. The most common one I use is the numberpad subtract key unless I'm on a Mastermind.

    The bind I use is:
