That depends on how fanatic they are for the cause, or how important it is. Sacrificing yourself to stop the evil whatever isn't all that unusual in fiction. If the RP aspects bother you, just tell yourself they are willingly sacrificing themselves, while an evil mastermind sets the bomb off too fast for them to escape just to get his jollies. -

I find that I can drop Trip Bombs in mid fight even if the enemy ISN"T held; that's the main reason I took /Mace, for the Defense based shield. It makes it much less likely you will be interrupted while dropping a Trip Bomb. Especially once the bots suck most of the enemy aggro off you. -

There's still teaming, although a lot of people are concentrating on Mission Architect missions at the moment. The game is doing well, and they've announced an upcoming new expansion named Going Rogue for it. The dev team is up to almost 50 now.

I recall they added a smallish heal to Energy Drain, and some toxic resist to one of the passives. And changes to IOs made it easier to boost it's defense. -
Depending on your character, there might be some missions that you can't solo ( low damage character, high regen enemy for example ). But that's one thing mission skip is for. In general, the game is designed to be soloable to 50.

I took everything but Detonator from Traps. I took only the summons and upgrades from Bots; Repair recharges too slow. I took Aid Other ( Aid Self isn't really needed ), the Fitness pool to spam traps faster, and TP Foe to drop enemies on Trip Mines/Poison Trap.
Caltrops is actually quite good; it bunches up enemies, and can distract even EBs, who often will run around instead of attacking. Trip Mine is also good; it adds a nice chuck of damage against EBs and such.
Seeker Drones are great, as long as you know to summon them on top of the enemy; they eat the alpha strike.
Triage Beacon is good once you can slot it with SOs ( or the IO equivalent ); combined with Aid Other it helps keep your bots alive in big fights. Just don't expect much without 4-5 slotting it, and set it down before the fight starts.
You really want Acid Mortar; it's a hefty debuff, and often takes aggro from you as well. Basic slotting is 3 recharge/1 def debuff for me; it's proc friendly too. -

This has got to be the biggest waste of developer time ever. I would rather have them fix bugs and address longstanding problems. I don't really see the thrill in changing the color of the same power animation, yawn.

First, whether or not YOU care, an awful lot of people DO care and have been asking for it for a long time. Second, bugfixes are something done on a continuous basis, not as a special issue. And an issue dedicated to bugfixing would anger most of the playerbase, and leave many of the devs idle anyway. -

Of the three you list, I'd go with Storm. Ninja are glass cannons; they do lots of damage but die easy. Storm both keeps them alive and ups their damage even more. Pain doesn't work well with Ninja, since Pain is mostly reactive. By the time you try to heal them, they're dead.

This might mean that weapon customization could come to Spines; they've stated in the past that the problem was that while the Spines themselves could have been customized like the other weapons sets, the ranged attacks came under powers and wouldn't have matched.

Weapon customization is something different, which is why we got it well before power customization. -
/TA has more synergy with Seeds of Confusion; you can use Acid Arrow and Disruption Arrow to lower Confused targets' resistance and defense, without lowering their ability to hurt each other. /Rad can't do that. On the other hand, I expect that /Rad would be better at dealing with EBs and up.

I'm no expert, but I'm not sure if that would be true if it kept the same basic shape, only reskinned. In other words, you couldn't turn Assault Bot into a Terminator style humanoid without new animations, but turning it into a brass steampunkish thing that moves the same and fires from the same spots as the normal Assault Bot wouldn't require new animations ( I think ). -
I don't PvP, but I find my Eng/Storm pretty fun. Probably not the best combo from a min/max standpoint, but I enjoy the whole flinging enemies like toys bit.

Also, for my tanks, toning down the animations on Invulnerability would be really nice. In all honesty, as a personal preference, glowy auras don't impress me much, especially on an Invulnerabe tank. I'd like to just have them be as plain-Jane as possible. Instead, I get some guy running around who's as glowy as possible. I much prefer the Willpower animations. Which, amazingly, is why I tend to use that set exclusively these days. A shame really, since Invulnerability isn't a bad set.

Hmmm ? They toned down the graphics on Invulnerability dramatically quite some time ago. I ended up deleting all of mine because I liked the old effects, and playing the dull new versions depressed me. If we can make them shiny again I'd make some new ones. -

Vanguard or Rikti would be good candidates for an Epic AT, as has been pointed out. There's also Incarnates, and the "Blood of the Black Stream" if they ever decide to dig whatever that was supposed to be out of the dustbin.

I have three cat themed ladies.
I have Swiftshred, a catgirl with horns; no bio yet.
I have Felice the Ripper, a catgirl who eats pieces off the criminals she catches.
I have Kitten Crusade, who is a girl in a cat themed outfit with a shoulder cat ( the cat is the actual heroine )
I have non-cat animal people as well. Howling Dog, The Wolf of Fimbulwinter, Hound of Souls, Rabbit Trick, Coldrake are ones I recall.
