Quote:Yes, that was previously mentioned. One token per unlocked costume slot. Will we be getting free tailor tokens this issue as well? Could really use some to customize the powers in all those slots...
On a Friday? Highly unlikely; they'll want people to be at work the next few days after release for emergency bug stomping. Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. -
And Poison Trap's "hold" doesn't trigger very often these days; it's mainly useful as a -regen power.
-
Maybe it's to imply that you are just standing in for the really invulnerable guy while he's on vacation.
"I thought you said you were invulnerable?!"
"Nah; I'm just a temp." -
Quote:Acid Mortar and Seekers are two of the best powers!I skipped acid mortar, poison trap, time bomb, and seeker drones, but only to get patron powers, poison trap serves very well when slotted though, and detonator might work out better for you than time bomb on a corruptor.
I'd get everything but Detonator; that's what I did so far on my Mercs/Traps ( just hit 32 ). I took Hover/Fly for travel, Aid Other to heal the Mercs ( haven't needed Aid Self yet ), and Stamina ( although that can be put off a while ).
If possible pick up an Achilles -res proc and stick it in Soldiers. -
Thought bubbles over each :
Him : "And now I'll pose dramatically over my fallen enemy. That always turns the chicks on!"
Her : "Hmmmm...wait for the idiot to lose his balance on that Freak and fall, or jab both of them in the crotch with my sword? Decisions, decisions..." -

It seems to have been an east coast thing. The east coast servers freaked out, people living on the east coast playing on west coast servers had problems, Facebook had problems, Aion had problems etc.
-
Also; while the zone ( Steel Canyon, Skyway City etc ) you beat them in is often a requirement for the mission, the neighborhood ( Gimry Ridge, Copper District, etc ) is almost always just a suggested spot to look. Not a requirement.
The Lost in Skyway by the way are easiest to find to the south; in the neighborhood named "Land of the Lost". A good place to hunt low level Lost is in King's Row, in a neighborhood named Royal Refinery. It's to the east, middle of the zone where it corners. -
What to replace Caltrops with?
A personal phase power? Thematic.
A longer recharge version of the Tsoo Sorceror's teleport? Click it and you randomly teleport away. Also thematic. -
From the News and Announcements thread and ingame, I've heard this :
Quote:Which would be something I've wanted for some time. The best news (in my opinion) came not from the panel but just from discussion with Matt and Joe. I'm not sure when it's going to happen (likely I16) but soon at any rate. We are going to get a missing glowie/hunt indicator. When the remaining amount of glowies or needed enemies is 10% then they will show up on the map. -
As I recall, the typical argument I've heard ( from Corrs ) is that it's better to simply use Trip Mine which has a much better chance of actually going off when the target is in range. And which can be laid down in multiples to make them stronger than Time Bomb by far. So no, with or without planning Time Bomb isn't useful.

I recall one of the times I felt most villainous with a Dom was on a Mayhem team; a whole crowd of Longbow was coming down the corridor to the Vault. I hit Domination and Telekinesis, and pinned a bunch helplessly in midair just as the Corruptors on the team opened up with the AoEs. No escape! Fried in midair, they can see it coming and no way to fight back! Mwahahaha!

Life Drain is a weak heal; useful for sets that don't have a better heal in their secondary but best skipped with a /Dark Miasma. Black Hole is generally considered the most skippable power in /Dark, and widely hated by teams but as seen above some like it.
-
It's a reputation counter. You add or subtract from people's reputation with the little scales in the lower left of the post. You can see a number for your reputation if you click on your own. It can be turned off in the forum User Control Panel I believe.

I just want Ice Armor on brutes or scrappers so I can play it without wanting to scream. I like Ice Armor; I hate tanks.

I personally find Hasten very good on my Bots/Dark. Those /Dark powers really benefit from spamming them faster.
-
As much as I'd like custom minions, coloring their powers would be a nice running up.
-
Twilight Grasp is a better heal in most circumstances; and if you really need a single target heal ( rare with /Dark ) you can drag and drop an Inspiration onto the name of your Bot in the pet window ( if you didn't know ).
-
The one real weakness it has is the tendency of your Bots to knock things out of Tar Patch and the Assault Bot's burning patches. Scirocco's AoE Immobilization will help with that since it has -KB ( although it's also smaller than the other Immobilizes ). And it's a mixed "weakness" since knockback also protects you somewhat from incoming attacks.
-
They are pseudo-pets, so it wouldn't do anything. Nor does Domination. Volcanic Gases is also unaffected. They would affect the immobilizes, the sleep, Stalagmites, and the stuns from /energy.
On the good side they don't really need any boosting. -
