Or to put it simply; if you want to attack and stay in Bodyguard, only order SOME of your pets to attack and leave the rest in Defensive/Follow. And yes, you can drag icons from your pet window to your power tray to make new command buttons, as well as edit the ones there.

Scrapper: Ice Armor, Axe, Ninjitsu
Stalker: Axe
Controller: Traps and Dark
Mastermind: Rad, Cold
Brute: Ice Armor, Broadsword, Ninjitsu
Blaster: Dark Blast, a variation of Super Strength or Martial Arts for a secondary.
Dominators: Illusion, Dark Blast, Radiation Blast -
I always assumed that with the economy crashing a lot of companies pulled back on expenses; such as advertising in odd places.

I went and made "The Contaminated Man"; a pollution/toxin themed Fire/Earth. Green lava-themed hammers, green Char, purple lava themed Tremor and Earthquake, etc. He's all green and purple and blue himself; zombie face with the bio-organic skin for the torso.

Various people right from the beginning. I've heard quite a few people start making completely evidence free claims about all the ways it will suck. "You'll only be able to switch if you make the character in Praetoria"; "Side switching won't be anything other than instanced missions in Paragon and the Rogue Isles", etc.

On any MM without a heal in the secondary I recommend Aid Other. I don't bother with Aid Self though; as long as you keep some henchmen in Bodyguard you don't really need it.
Quote:That's not true; yes, you are buffing all six henchmen, but that doesn't mean you get six times the bonus another AT would because each individual pet is much weaker than another player.Leadership is generally considered a "must have" for MMs. Redside, they have one of the higher buff modifiers for it in the first place, and the fact that the "effective" bonus you get out of Leadership is multiplied by six thanks to your henchman makes it even more worthwhile.
Personally I no longer get Leadership powers on my MMs; there's always something else I want more. -
I was just playing my Fire/Earth Dominator, and noticed that the hold animation for Char only played about 1 time in 10. The power worked, but they'd just stand in place. And when the animation did play, it looked more like a stun animation than the choking animation Char normally has.

Imps using Dark Fire look quite evil in black and red.
If you don't like Blazing Aura's pulsing effect ( my problem with it ), making it black renders it much less noticeable and leaves you with a black aura of sorts about a foot away from you. Sinister looking.
For Earth Control, making the Immobilizes stone or lava and the Hold crystal creates a nice contrast; the crystal is embedded in stone or lava when you use both.
Dark Fire Breath looks like you are breathing some sort of contamination at people. -
Quote:Neat. Mine is named Rabbit Trick. She's a rabbit girl, who uses trick arrows, and was accidentally pulled out of a hat by a Circle of Thorns mage who tried his hand at stage magic. "Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!"; and yes I was thinking of Rocky and Bullwinkle.I'm kind of fond of his name, though. I wanted something that would show the Bow & Arrow nature, as well as Illusion. Illusion -- an Illusionist is an entertainer -- so I came up with a guy who was hired by the French Foreign Legion to entertain the Legioneers with his trick shooting and magic/comedy act. His name is "Beau Jester." I was really delighted when the Jester costume came available, too, but he was made long before I had heard of it.

I think it requires some minimum level of damage for it to count.

Be warned that gravity lags well behind other sets until level 26, because it takes that long to get an area control in the form of Wormhole. Unlike, say Illusion/ with Phantom Army at 18 or Fire/ With Flashfire at 12. Well; Illusion can get Flash much earlier but it's not much use at low levels and is best put off until much later if you get it at all.
-
Yes, I've run into people doing that; and the Kheldian Dwarf semi-copy of it too. It's even worse if they do that in the Tailor and your screen starts shaking while you try to modify your costume.
-
They are both oddballs compared to the other sets. They both lack an Immobilization power for example.
Mind has more hard controls than Illusion. It lacks pets.
Illusion relies more on soft controls like Taunt from Phantom Army, Fear from Spectral and Deceive. It has 4 pets; 5 if you count Decoy Phantasm. -
Quote:1 Accuracy SO and 1 End Reduction in each attack should be enough; add some Damage instead. Recall that your attacks do -Def so you don't need much accuracy. It could be I only have attacks slotted with Acc and end reduction or that I am only 22,....not sure. That is part of my problem.
You took the Immobs? That's probably part of your problem, you must have skipped something for that and they are of limited use. Those are late build choices if they are taken at all. -

Quote:*WHAM WHAM WHAM*"I'm here to defeat the evil version of myself!"
"Oh, he's in jail."
"Really?"
"Yeah, 8 years ago. Poisoned a school cafeteria's food."
"Oh geez. Man...glad you caught him."
"Yeah."
"Wanna get hammered?"
"Sure."
"Ahhhh!!"
"See, he's the evil version of myself. I'm the psychotic version of myself. And the invisible green rabbit on your head kept making faces at me." -

1: Another vote for base NPCs.
2: A more "steampunk style" or whatever term you want to use teleport. Something that is neither the white hi-tech or mystic teleports, and fits with those base parts that are neither glossy high tech nor mystic. Something brassy with lightning.
3: A large monitor that shows actual city scenes. Like a view overlooking Atlas City Hall complete with heroes milling about, say. -
Quote:Or they could get Detonator like MMs do. Exploding Imps! Suicidal Singularities!Actually, thinking about it more, a Controller might be the ONE AT where the stupid non-MM tier 9 (Time Bomb) could be useful.
On the plus side, Acid Mortar has persistent debuffs which would let your Phantom Army keep doing good damage even to knocked back enemies. -
Judging from what's been said in this thread, apparently not.
When people say that the devs are collectively lying in order to conceal a secretly implemented plan, that's an accusation of conspiracy.
