Yes, I recall that; it was Culex who calculated it but I don't recall the number offhand. A lot has changed since then anyway.

Quote:*I* would complain. KB is fun, and that's what games are for.If all knockback were changed to knockdown I don't think anyone would complain since it would have the same basic effect without having mobs fly all over the place.
And yes, I like Peacebringers and Crane Kick from Martial Arts, too. I'll Crane Kick Tsoo off the top of the bridge in IP and follow them as they fall...good times. -

Quote:Blue side ones too, we can just hand wave it.This new improvement should be copied to all red side missions, now!
"Superguy! I can't believe you vaporized a room full of civilians!"
"I didn't! I just , um, teleported them to safety with my eye beams."
"But, but look at all the scorch marks!"
"Sorry, I was in a hurry and there was some energy bleed off."
"They were screaming!"
"Um, well, sudden teleportation can startle people." -
I also would like sonic. As for why it hasn't been proliferated yet, I always assumed they were trying to avoid sets too similar to sets the AT already has. I suspect that Masterminds will get /Rad before /Sonic for that reason.
Nope; at one point when the pet recharge nerf was in beta Defender Lightning Cloud was excepted from the change. So it is possible for a single power to be bugged to still be affected. -
It's my understanding that Scrappers get more damage out of Shield Charge.

Plant/Fire, since the DoT damage of /Fire will interfere with Static Field. Plant/Fire on the other hand has great synergy.

Quote:Not exactly. More like a hybrid of Chief Mentalists & Chief Mesmerists, with Transfusion and Siphon Power from Kinetics and a +recovery aura thrown in.Yeah, the Priests confound me, too. There's one in one of the War Zone arcs, so I know what they are, but why are they so rare? From what I remember, Priests are just Mentalists in a different uniform. They're cool.

Quote:But you'll still have Bane/Huntsman powers, so yes you will be a Bane/Huntsman on that build. And some people like the legs, you know. While I understand where you're coming from, it's easy enough to make alts in this game that I wouldn't worry about that. First of all, if you're going to be a Crab Spider AT ALL, you're going to be a Crab Spider. There is no switching builds and becoming a Bane or Huntsman. You may pick those powers, but you'll still be stuck with the crab legs, and now they'll sit on your back and be dead weight.

Remember that the MA is just a version of the mission maker tool the devs got after years of having to try to make missions using spreadsheets. It's not surprising they started making more experimental and complicated missions once they were given better tools to do so.

Necro/Storm is fun (mine's an undead pirate), and Necro/Dark almost feels like cheating with so many stacking debuffs and controls.

I've heard people report the problem with Firefox and Internet Explorer too, and yes its been going on for months. Very irritating.

Some good ideas here. And I agree with revamping the Shard.
An alternate world zone loosely based on two Portal Corp missions. Nemesis died or lost control of his creations, which have run wild and destroyed all life on Earth. In its place is a worldwide steampunk-robots civilization. A place of brassy, shiny buildings and platforms, of giant gears and pistons slowly turning and pumping. The inhabitants are shiny brass machines, most ignoring you as they go their way like Praetorian Clockwork usually does. This is one of many warring cities, each ruled over by a Fake Nemesis which seeks to supplant the others as the "real" Nemesis.
Meanwhile above the city floats the domain of the sole survivor of the destruction of organic life by the automatons: the Psychic Clockwork King. A huge mass made of scavenged brassy scrap, it floats above the brass landscape held aloft by the telekinetic will of the King. On a regular basis flying Psychic Clockwork raids the city below to destroy Nemesis machines and loot more scrap. -
The belt and the dress/toga/whatever it's called that Sister Airlia and Sister Solaris wear. Preferably split into top and bottom halves for players of course. The bottom half's "hanging cloth" part especially would work just as well for male characters, at least Airlia's non-lacy version would. The bottom half would ideally be a belt piece like the Warrior set (from the Natural Super Booster) has.
