Subjective Feedback: Being able to add the new animal patterns to the new cat legs is a nice touch, they don't visually clash badly with the leg patterns as the standard Monstrous Feet sometimes do. But if possible it would likely be a good idea to enable all patterns, not just the three new animal patterns, for those who want an animal shape with odd fur patterns (a cyborg animal, say).

Yes, Melee/Summon - or perhaps Ranged/Summon too; what I think of as the Leader AT. The counterpart to an MM, where your pets support you (with either extra firepower or buffs/debuffs) while you go in and lead from the front. You could even mostly reuse the MM pets, perhaps tweaking their powers or swapping out some for new versions to enable them to work better as support.

Quote:<Looks> Ah, interesting! Thanks.Apparently there were some points that got edited out of her post and if you check the discusion thread, you can use the replies to see what type of pack she had actually mentioned.

Quote:Avatea mentioned that some ideas had been held over for inclusion in a upcoming pack.Watching that, all I can think of is, No shark head? You'd think Mako would be a perfect spokesperson (if not for the whole violent schistic)..
Quote:I will also attempt to defuse at least one set of questions with a brief mention that we did not include everything that had concept attached to it in the pack. As I said, in building the schedule for the cat pieces we got a lot of costume piece variations, this led to one set of concepts getting cut and folded into what we expect will be another pack at some point in the future (well let you speculate on that one). -

Thugs/Traps is a nice combo. Force Field Generator stacks with your Enforcer's Leadership powers, lots of AoE, extra single target from Trip Mine, multiple good alpha eaters.

Quote:"Nothing can defeat Mighty Monkey!"On Monday, I turned into a Rikti Monkey while running this mission.
Fortunately, this still worked....
Too bad attacks don't work in that form. -
Tarikoss is a known liar and fanatic, and the rest of his spiel contradicts what we learn in the rest of the game; the history of the Circle of Thorns for example. He's clearly caught up in some kind of Humans As The Master Race rant.

As I always interpreted the lore, before Tielekku there were only intrinsic magical abilities, both divine and otherwise. A fire demon could throw magical flame, a god of healing could heal; but if they didn't naturally have a magical effect in their arsenal that was that. Tielekku invented the techniques for using magic independent of a being's nature, of shaping it though knowledge and skill instead of just using natural abilities. Basically, she did the mystical equivalent of inventing tools. Which allowed mortals to grow magically powerful and help win the war against the Banished Pantheon and rival the gods in power, since while not magical beings in themselves they could learn to use it once taught the first spells, the techniques for manipulating magical forces.

Because it will save you those millions? Not everyone or even most people are marketeers with billions to throw around. "80 or so mil" to me means "don't even consider buying".

It's effective, although it suffers from buffbot tedium like /FF always does.

My Fire/Earth Dominator The Contaminated Man has everything colored green and purple to look toxic; the hammers are lava textured.
Lethal Contamination my Ice/Rad (named after the label on the canister he was found in) also has his ice powers recolored to look like toxic substances instead of ice, and the Dark /Rad themes used for a more material, non-energy look.
My DM/Regen Miss Skinless has her powers colored dark red to represent blood; she's basically using Blood Melee, not Dark Melee. Touch of Fear isn't using the "power of the netherworld", it's scary because you have a screaming insane woman with no skin flinging her own blood at you. The same goes with /Regen, it's all bloody. -
The number on top of the updater (that IS the version number, right?) doesn't match that of the Strike Pack on Test.
Quote:Yes, they announced they were patching here.Just went to log in and goof off before the maintenance (since I mis-read the start time)... and I'm getting a patch? -
Personally I'm hoping for the Animal Pack, but think 19.5 more likely since we've seen it on Test. It could just be an emergency fix for some exploit though.

Knockback is overrated as a problem. In this case, against tough single targets Tornado lets you do good damage to kb resistant EBs, and renders any non-kb resistant Boss or up nearly helpless.

Quote:True; here's mine for my Demon/Traps MM Professor Perdition for an example:i am the proud owner of a lvl 50 demon/traps. They're actually much better than what people make them out to be, especially once you get some sets in. I think yeah it's probably the thematics of both being completely different, still, it didn't stop me from making a backstory.
Quote:Scientist, rationalist, demon summoner. By studying obscure aspects of transuniversal field theory, the Professor has discovered that by certain vocal and somatic manipulations he can open gateways to another inhabited dimension, containing useful if dangerous entities that the unscientific might term 'demons'. After early experiments cost him his right arm, he had a cybernetic replacement installed capable of projecting a plasma whip useful for keeping these unruly creatures under control. He intended to use these beasts to keep Praetoria the orderly utopia Emperor Cole meant it to be. But after he joined Powers Division, he discovered more and more uncomfortable facts that his cloistered intellectual life had shielded him from. More injustices, more acts of oppression, more outright evil than he had believed existed in Cole's 'Utopia'. In the end he could take no more, and turned against the very Empire he set out to support... -

Quote:On my Elec/Psi I typically fire off Jolting Chain before Psionic Scream; that way they are less likely to return fire before Static Field sleeps them again.I skipped psy scream on my mind/psy for the longest time for the positional cast reason...but when /psi got re-jiggered I couldn't let it go anymore. It's contribution to damage is about on par with psi shockwave, though is target caps is lower. I find it good fired off just before I enter the spawn, controls fired ahead of it.

Plant/Storm is good. Another possibility is to make a Plant/Fire (a strong combo) and choose green colored Dark Fire custom colors. It looks more like you are throwing something solid than fire.
There is no "deal breaker"; the problem is that there isn't any "deal maker" either. The two sets don't do anything in particular for each other, but they don't particularly work against each other either. The combo works fine anyway though, since both are strong sets.
