Good luck on the power pool customization. Hell they could at least buy my off for a little while by giving us the Kheld sash.

It would take a lot of effort to make the powers tintable and she has a few things she'd like to do before that.
Yes, but those of us who've been waiting since color customization was first introduced may not feel the same way.

    EDIT.

And my new Street Justice Parkour hero needs a sling backpack.

    Ditto.
  5. I suggest fighting a few mobs to get a Tip mission and roll with that.
  6. You know Wovie was once beaten near to death by a guy with a stick. And he had his healing at the time.

For all its claims to multiculturalism, humanity has been the leader of the Federation, the Federation by and large represents human morality. You measure up to our standards, or you don't get in. This has to have caused some friction/simmering resentment, but the advantages of being in the Federation were so overwhelming in terms of safety and commerce, planets accepted the bargain.

The Dominion War broke those advantages. For the first time, the Federation provided no real safety, and may even have made one a target. And it's clear that the big terror was "they may take Earth".

OK, the war was won, but a lot of people dead, a lot of planets damaged. Wouldn't some of those resentments come out? "You let our people die while protecting Earth. Why should we be the buffer protecting Earth from the opponents they provoke?"

So the new series would be about rebuilding the Federation. Building a truly interplanetary Federation. With an interplanetary crew, and yes, I'd have a non-human captain.

So part would be dealing with the assumptions of "human morality is the correct morality", but also the risks of "hey, whatever you want to do, it's good if you think it's good."
This is a good idea. As to when i sa go wiht the STO time line. Game aside the set up was good.

    Actual conversation from last year:

Me: "Like Han Solo said, ancient weapons are no substitute for a good blaster at your side."
My dad: "I loved Man from U.N.C.L.E."
    Me: "What?"
    My dad: "Great show."
Me: "What are you talking about, Capt. Non Sequitur?"
My dad: "Han Solo, the guy from U.N.C.L.E. Or was it Mission: Impossible?"
Me: "That was someone else. I was quoting Star Wars."
My dad: "Napoleon Solo. Was Han related to him?"
Me: "No, totally different guy. Harrison Ford, you know?"
My dad: "Right. Who was the alien guy you used to watch in Mission: Impossible?"
    Me: "Mr. Spock?"
    My dad: "The baby doctor?"
Me: "No Leonard Nimoy. Star Trek."
    My dad: "Not him."
Me: "Commander Koenig from Space: 1999?"
My dad: "That's the guy! Which one was Spock?"

I'll bet you dollars to donuts Lou Dobbs has that exact same kind of conversation.
Your Dad sounds awesome. I could talk to someone like that all day and continuously be amused.
