Quote:Valid point BBM, but i was more referring to the last post that you quoted PP in. She'd made it pretty obivious she was done with the healthy discussion part and your post seemed to be moving into a trolling part. Just saying cause you are usually one of the more conscientious poster. But whatever, i'm done playing forum police, we return you to your regularly scheduled thread.Ah, but on the other hand, I think it is healthy to at least discuss it. Me, personally, I like hearing her opinion (a not so glowing one) on it and have a conversation. It is good to get a wide range of opinions. It helps me organize my own thoughts. If that comes across as attacking her, I apologize.
Especially for Lost, a show that is open to many interpretations. So, yes, while some may say one did not "get it," everyone is right in their view. But going back and forth saying "Oh, did you catch this?" or "This is what Lost is saying, in my opinion" may get both sides to open their own interpretations to things they previously shrugged off.
I think we can all agree that the finale made us all cry. Some in frustration, some in sadness -
I know i usualy disagree with PP but she does have the right to her opinion. And just cause some disagree doesn't mean they "got' the show any better than she did. You've made your counter argument, let it drop please.

Quote:This about covers it. When the first pre purchase was anounced i thought do i want to play DP and DS early that bad? It's not like we weren't told that there were differences if you bought now or bought later. As well up thread someone posted where they did warn us that retailers may have other offers. Plus...You got access to dual pistols and demon summoning several months before others.

OK, i stayed away from this thread untill i finally saw the episode (thank god for Tivo!) and i must admit it was very bittersweet. Not as all inclusive with the answers as i would have liked but i though the acting was superb. Can't wait to get the seris box set and rewatch back to back. A few issues though. I know Walt is like 8 feet tall and has a voice like Barry White but would've like to see something with him . I really wanted to know more about the actual island's history. Oh, and can anyone tell me if they ever answered the plot points about the child birthing thing? That seemed like a pretty big point for a while there.

Don't know if its been mentioned but they updated the music on the character select screen. small touch but very nice.

Quote:Ok, THAT was funny.Aim-Build Up-Snipe on a lvl 1 Skull from about a foot away with a lvl 50 Blaster. That amuses me way more than it should

Quote:SO much this.I can only speak for myself, but with regards to the T-shirts/Hero-Con issue, I didn't go to teh Con for the shirt. I would much rather have them available for everyone, rather than something 'exclusive' just because I could afford to meet the Devs in person. In my opinion, more people wearing shirts emblazoned with the game's name, the better.
Wow you're sliping GG, it took you 170 post before you brought up the hair thing.
Ok BP my litle sugestion is a commerical, but not for TV. For movie theaters. This could completely hit the fabled "target audience". I mean how much more targeted could you get than to see a CoX commerical before Iron Man 2? -
A multiplication based AT like Triplicate Girl or Jamie Madrox.

Not really a costme piece as much as an aura. I'd like a whole set of the HUD like armor.

First-concept.
Second-"I haven't played that set before."
Third-"man THAT power looked cool, what was it?" -
This crazy old wizard is 40, but after moving into our new house over the last 3 days i feel about 65.

Quote:Since you have to have GR to get the Incarnate levels i don't think they would preclude toons that used said system.Playing Devil's Advocate here, are you saying the Devs have never made what players have considered to be stupid decisions? Look at PvP. And regardless of how trivial the reward will be for staying true, there will be people complaining about having their fallen / redeemed characters being locked out of it.
Quote:I'm thinking that Incarnates will require some "well of the furies" schenanigans as a task force or personal trial. With Cimerora availiable, they could really throw in the Greek Mythology heavy, plenty more temples etc to perhaps find the "Original" well of the furies? -
I think they may go with a broader term for Incarnates. I mean i know the well of the Furies tied to the Greco/Roman gods but i see it as that was just one way to become an incarnate.
Definition: 1 a : invested with bodily and especially human nature and form b : made manifest or comprehensible.
Bascally anything can have an incarnate. This leaves a lot more room for character ideas. And a perfect example from the comic books? The Flash. He is an incarnate of the Speed Force. Anyway thats my 2 inf. -

Doesn't Percy's late level arc hint at the powers all being simular in a way? Maybe incarnate was the first true super origin and all the other kind of evolved from it. That way incarnate levels are just you reaching the pinacle of your power and there by coming closer to the sorce of the origins.
