    Nope. Not even remotely the same.

    Psionic Tornado is just a target AoE attack which has a chance to knockup.

    Tornado is a pet summon that left unchecked will wreak untold havoc and chaos upon the field.

    It's not about putting Bonfire back into the powers graveyard.

    It's about Bonfire+proc basically outperforming entire other control sets on its own.

    One power plus one proc = permanent AoE total lockdown. That's absolutely broken.

    Again, you're saying that because Bonfire+Proc don't break iTrials that everything is fine, without regard to the fact that incarnate trials are in and of themselves outliers in general game performance, and still only a small portion of the overall game.

    As someone who leveled an electric/ controller through Praetoria, I can assure you that non-incarnate Seers are just as vulnerable to Knock* effects as rank and file Hellions.

    This sums up my position pretty well.

We know that they recently added the tech to allow a power to do something different depending on what it's targeting, and the tech for a power to be able to be used on multiple different types of target: Defeated Foe/Conscious Foe (Darkness Affinity's Soul Absorption) and Defeated Ally/Conscious Ally (Nature Affinity's Rebirth) so maybe they could make Soul Extraction function both ways.

    If it's targeting a defeated pet, it behaves the same as it currently does. If it's targeting a living pet, it summons the spirit then blows up the targeted pet.

    The net result is the same, lose one pet, gain another, but this would allow the MM greater control over WHEN they can activate the power.

    I believe that the way it works is that there are four temples (North, South, East, West) two for Men (North, South) two for Women (East, West) and that they follow a fairly migratory path from one to the other.

    On the male model at least, the blade most often extends from your middle/ring fingers, through the flat of your fist (Ouch!).

    Honestly, I don't think they would need to change it at all. The extendable blade is there for probably less than a second, it's not exactly a big flashy effect.

    None of the claw customization options cover the flat of your fist (they all attach to the top of your hand), so it's unlikely that the extended blade would clip with them.

    I don't think that simply using the exact same animations with the other claw options would really be that big of a deal.

    Oh I agree, Gravity still needs improvements. Particularly since the last batch of updates really just made Gravity better at the niche it already filled (single target damage) without really doing that much to improve it's overall control. (Dimension Shift is never going to be a go to control power, and the massive KB in Wormhole still sucks.)

    I just doubt we're going to see any more any time soon.

    The fact that GD negates knock is exactly WHY it was used as the trigger. Impact is basically just an apology for making your primary hold negate your soft control powers.

    "Here, have some extra damage to make up for that."

    Impact actually has a larger benefit on Lift that Propel, also. Both powers trigger the same 0.3scale Impact damage, but Lift animates and recharges faster, so sees a higher increase in overall damage output.

    Honestly I do agree that Lift would have made more sense as the AoE soft control than Propel does, but 1) The devs weren't going to give Grav an AoE control(even a limited one) at level 1 and 2) They wanted to add it to Propel to make it "worth taking" particularly on Dominators, who have better attacks in most of their secondaries anyhow.
