    ... I use Brickstown...

I do all my 30-40 Tips and radio missions there. It's less annoying to get around in than Founder's Falls, but yeah that's pretty much it.
  2. I have a CoT inspired Sorcerer/Mage:

He uses pieces from the Magic and Martial Arts packs, but it's mostly stock costume options.

It's not the best picture, cause I have to run with minimal settings sadly.

Edit: As far as powersets go, being Circle of Thorns inspired I decided to go for a combination of Dark and Psychic powers (to fit in with other high power CoT like Baron Zoria), I ended up going with a Dark/Psi defender, But I'm considering a reroll as a Dark/Mental Blaster post i21, or waiting to see if Doms get Dark Control with their supposed shiny new goodies afterwards and going Dark/Psi Dom.

Also, when I think Sorcery specifically, it connotes a certain level of taboo, or distrust from others. Sorcery to me is the dark/forbidden magics, mind control, death magic, mental attacks, manipulation and deception. This leads me to sets like Dark, Mind, Psi and Illusion.

Where I tend to picture elementalism, particularly pyromancy as being more a part of Wizardry.

Is this a good opportunity to get the ranges and the arcs on the cones brought into something closer to alignment? Tenebrous Tentacles being 40ft/40deg, Umbral Torrent at whatever they decide (Torrent was 80ft/20deg), Nightfall at 60ft/20deg and Soul Tentacles at 40ft/25deg is just annoying as all get-out. Slotting them all similarly (especially with any IO set with Range enhancements) makes them further apart.
Yeah, I never will understand the logic of having sets with multiple cones, of multiple varied size.

Just give us access to the Banished Pantheon costume parts and that cauldron, already in game thx for the witches. No need to even make anything new aside from the power (which might likely be a travel, given the current trend).
The vast majority of NPC parts are terribly low res, and not mapped for use on PC models, so even if they did give us costume parts that looked just like the BP, they would have to build them as new costume pieces from the ground up.
  5. I can't say I'm fond of either of these suggested sets.

Dark Assault seems like it would be left completely and utterly crippled at range (To the point where it makes Earth Assault's ranged damage look good), and I'm incredibly doubtful we'll ever see a straight up AoE control power (Fearsome Stare) in an assault set. (I also still don't believe Penumbral Grasp has anything at all to do with a self Heal, but is just a typical single target immobilize.)

Dark Control, well, Midnight Grasp(given my firm belief about Penumbral Grasp), leave MG in Assault and move PG to Control.

Beyond that I think Dark Control would end up too much like Electric Control. I mean, beyond the control staples (singe/AoE immobilize and Hold) they'd have exceedingly similar powers:

    Sleep Patch
    Multi Target confuse
    Multi Target Knock* effect

Even the secondary effects end up doing similar things. No End means you can't attack me, therefore you can't damage me. Floored ToHit means you can't hit me, therefore you can't damage me.

The only really unique thing about the set is the PBAoE Placate. I just don't see that that would be enough to differentiate it from Electric though.

(Having typed this all up I can't help but feel I'm being rather negative, I don't mean to be, I just felt very "meh" looking over the OP. I'm content to have to wait for post i21 for Dark/Dark on Doms, I just hope they'll take the time and effort to make the set fun and unique. Worth the wait, ya know?)

I'm leaning towards Abyssal Gaze dealing 1scale damage (like controller holds do), and Life Drain being basically unchanged, though I REALLY would like ALL versions of Life Drain to get the same buff Siphon Life got.

As far as Night Fall goes, they couldn't have just left that in the set because Blasters already get it in the Soul Mastery PPP. It had to change no matter what.

A new T3 blast also wasn't in the cards as that would have required animation/art time. The sets that got proliferated were specifically chosen because they wouldn't require and new art resources. (The art and animation teams are apparently fully booked till past i21.)

Eh. I'm highly skeptical of it having anything to do with Twilight Grasp instead of just being "Ranged Midnight Grasp" with damage/recharge tweaked to fill in as a Blaster T1.

As far as "generic" goes... really Blaster immobilizes are generic enough for me to believe the word is fitting. There are exceptions sure but they're SO similar in design and use as to be essentially interchangeable. IMO.

    Shaman/Loa pack

Divination could be a good Emote.

Your character crouches a bit and scatters a handful of random bones/feathers/objects on the ground in front of them, then studies them intently, nodding occasionally. (ongoing emote that lasts until interrupted)

Various tribal wear like Hequat sports would be nice to have.

Some decent Tattoo patterns for arms/legs would be very welcome. (Or at least the ability to have -any- pattern show on the legs with (under) the "Briefs" option for males/huge and whatever female costume equivalents.)

Armbands/Leg or Thigh bands/new and more choker type items (including for men this time).

    <warning incoming rantishness>
But a key feature such a pack MUST include..... NOT JUST MORE JACKETS FOR MEN! Give them some REAL options, not just more of the same-but-oh-so-slightly-different like the Steampunk pack did.

    Magic pack: Jacket for men
Science pack: Jacket (lab coat) for everyone
Martial Arts pack: Different kind of jackets for everyone.
Steam Pack: LOTS MORE JACKETS(/vests) FOR MEN.

Enough is enough, we've got enough jackets to last us walking backwards across Antarctica in winter.
    </rant>
  9. I am a bit disappointed at the lack of Cloak, and I find it odd they would specifically mention it having powers from Dark Miasma when it doesn't (leftover from a previous alpha/beta build maybe?).

All in all it looks decent enough, but not spectacular.

I am betting on Penumbral Grasp being a generic single target immobilize though.

    *emphasis mine*

It's already confirmed on the Proliferation page that Abyssal Gaze is a single target Hold and DoT.

The Void Judgement is already a PBAoE, so non-Ranged judgements are golden.

I'd ideally like to have one for every elemental and weapon theme. We have Fire, Ice, Electric and Dark. We still need (non-electric)Energy, Psionic, Earth/Stone, and many, many more.

    Yeah pretty much this.

It seemed like it had potential, and I like Elijah Wood (or maybe it seemed like it had potential because I like Elijah Wood?), but meh. It just doesn't do it for me.

Because of this power at times it feels pointless to have spent the time I do on a character's costume i can only see when i first log in, Die, or at the character select screen.
I would rather they just add a minimal FX version to Energy Aura's customization.

Unsuppressed Stealth has kinda been EA's thing, I don't care to see the mechanics change when the issue you don't like can be changed with a non-gameplay altering addition to power customization.

Not a major problem, mind you. I am just curious how that plays out.

A similar question would be whether or not the friend who reactivated gets 400 or 800 points (they get 30 days bonus also).
I would think your situation is basically the same as people who buy multi-month chunks of gametime:

Technically everyone has an active billing date. It's simply the calendar date in the month that your subscription would renew.

For example: Your 12 month sub renews every April 14th. Your billing date is the 14th of the month.
As long as your account is still active you still have a billing date each month, even if you don't actually pay anything on it.

Soul Tentacles has always been a cone power (a near copy/paste of Tenebrous Tentacles, which has also always been a cone power, Soul Tents is just not as good[smaller cone, no tohit debuff, etc]).

(Soul Tentacles is the power in the Soul Mastery PPP, not a power in/going to be in any blast set.)

  18. I rather like #3, it has a very artsy feel to it.
  19. Except that they can just step out of the phase field if they don't want to be phased....?

The main issue here is that the Cottage Rule exists, and while there may be a bit of question about it's continued enforcement after the departure of Castle, it's FAR more likely that we'll get an adjustment to the current AoE Phases than it is getting them removed.

Suggesting nifty new powers or whatever to replace them is very likely a waste of time.

Even with having all of those emps healing me and regen powers on me none of it mattered since it ticked for more health that I can possibly even have. How do you expect me to even survive that? How about adjusting this and making it tick more often but not so high.

If you want to make these things difficult then feel free but adding instant death mechanics like this are not fun.

IIRC, the Keyes overview said that Disintegration was designed to kill you pretty much unless you had a constant influx of healing coming in as soon as he hit you with it.

If it's ticking on you for 1895, the 1hit code should cause it to drop you to 1hp (unless you're already damaged, in which case, sorry). So I guess you essentially need to be healed back to full before each tick or you die.

This seems to be the way it is designed, so the answer the question "So is it inteded for disintegration to hit me for more hitpoints that I even have?" is Yes.
  21. They changed it cause I guess people complained that the colored lips made certain make-up options look bad.

I agree though that they should have just added a version without the red lips, instead of just removing the red lips all together.
