You are right, it doesn't stop KB...most of the time but occasionally it seems to. Maybe I was being unlucky with TK Blast but unfortunately I dont have time to run a proper test. -

It might be a gravity control hold/immob graphic, those tend to stick to your char sometimes... Were you by any chance fighting family?

Stacks with the disorients from your secondary and it gets past acrobatics which many people take these days.

Any disorient will get past acrobatics as it only protects from knockback and holds.

Assuming his calculations are correct, it actually looks like a decent change for those of us that like to fight mobs at a higher level than ourselves. Minions are going to be a little more threat than they were, Lts and Bosses a little less. -

I should have mentioned I was talking from a PvE point of view. I haven't done much PvP with my /psi defender so it may behave differently (but I doubt it

I took my /kin corruptor to 40 using just siphon speed and IR. If I were to try another /kin I would take a travel power then respec it out later.

Siphon Speed issues I get, yep that can indeed be a pain...
IR... nope, still not convinced. Leaping requires you to check around and press the jump key in order to do your jumping. You can't leave your toon to get where they need to get to on their own. It requires almost the same careful consideration of where you are going as IR.

I thought Acrobatics would provide some sleep resistance? I ran into a problem the other night with it, I had it active along with combat jumping and stealth and I got chain mezzed by a rikti luit the other night, thankfully I could take the damage as it was just him, but from the time I started timing I was mezzed for 1 minute 15 seconds.
Although acrobatics says it provides resistance to holds, does it stop you being mezzed? As a lvl 40 AR/Eng, is there anything bar a 'break free' that could help? They're really becoming a nuicance!

Holds, sleeps and stuns are all different types of mez. -

Looks to me like the Hero Builder text is way out of date there. IIRC the mez protection was removed while the patch for the EPPs was still on the test server after the scrappers and tanks got a bit excited about blasters getting their level 32 power. I hope somebody can prove me wrong.

Hibernate simply leaves you invulnerable, hence having status protection by default.
The various shields offer no status protection, just the same as the equivalent tank shields. A shame really.

But what you consider ganking and general griefing many others consider using the zones as intended. They really aren't the place for friendly duels, there are arenas for that. That's not to say you can't have a duel there, just don't get upset if you are interrupted. -

Possibly, but you can't have PA out all the time anymore so you would need to take an average over time for a proper comparison. -
Two points:
You need to be on or very near the ground to use Burn (not that it's worth taking any more...)
Post-ED, 3-slotted hover is quite slow (I'm assuming you will 3 slot it to use as a combat travel power). It might be worth checking on test whether you can live with the slow speed or not. -
Several of my characters got started on the healing badge by using presents at Xmas. The Gift of Life was a PBAoE heal.

I have only PvP'd a little with my /psi defender so I could be wrong but:
Subdue supposedly has a 50% odd chance to immob but it doesn't seem to stick that often
TK Blast does knockback
Will Domination does a sleep - drops acro on first hit I believe.
Those are the 3 main attacks I use pre auxiliary pool.
