Thanks for another successful run tonight Union!
Perhaps they should make a Really Really Hard Way badge? I'm kidding! Stop looking at me like that -
I found the video stream a lot less choppy than the Ustream one and I must say, Water Blast looked fun

Related question, do the discount coupons actually work these days then?
-
Quote:Yeah I have noticed there are settings for those in the wdw.txt file with the webstore set at 800x600. Manually editing the wdw.txt file then re-loading it doesn't work.According to /windownames, there are these:
- paragonrewards (Openable, Closable, Scalable)
- webstore (Openable, Closable, Scalable)
- paragonmarket (Openable, Closable, Scalable)
- mainstoreaccess (Scalable)
- loyaltytreeaccess (Scalable)
However, where they all say 'Scalable', IT'S A LIE!!1!
They can't be dragged and scaled and the /windowscale command has no affect on them.
However, the ones that say 'Openable' and 'Closeable' can be shown and dismissed with the /toggle command. -
I finally got around to upgrading from the 12.1s to the 12.4s today. Ran several missions and trials with no issues so far.

Have a read of this thread: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=290695
Basically, just alternate the 2 single target attack to get through the mission until it gets fixed. -

Good to see (or should that be hear?) you all back on the airwaves!
Liking the colour of the website (Terra might be able to explain that one to you)
-
Bimble is on 1389 and done until the summer event kicks off

Yes but if the GMs have been fighting a long time there is no way you will do enough damage to get the badge for the first AV down. The badge for the second one is usually awarded as normal.
-
The US and EU clients are the same, the account system all got merged a while back and any duplicate named accounts had an "EU" prefix added so if you can't log in, try adding "EU" to the front of your login name.

Quote:With Eochai & Jack, if you are doing it in the north of the zone where they fight each other then it's possible that, as they may have been fighting for a long time, you didn't do 10% of the total damage to them to qualify for the badge. This has always been the case. Your best bet is to find the solo spawns of Eochai and Jack. The last 4 times ive been in on giant monster defeats Blueside with my Rogue character I havent gotten any defeat badges for them.
I get the 'you have defeated', I get the 2 reward merits, I get pre for it, but I don't get the badge.
I first noticed it with Lusca, and then Eochai (twice) and Jack. None of them have given me any defeat badge.
I got herostat logs from at least three of those occations
I have also had the Lusca badge not award to me when others on my team got it and there seems to be no option except to /bug it and try it again. You could try a petition but I have never had any luck with this particular issue. -
Quote:You have this completely about face, the regular maintenance is done on Thursdays and we have had downtime nearly every Thursday since the maintenance went to one day a week several years ago.Yep, they don't seem to change any message unless they absolutely have to.
An example of this is the "standard downtime listing" which says Thursady even though the standard downtime day has been Tuesday for at least a year, especially since Freedom launched and updates the market and WST every Tuesday.
Thursdays are now relegated to "if it needs it" downtime, such as for patches.
Believe me, I am usually up at that time in the morning. I rarely ever worry about downtime on Thursday, but Tuesday is almost guaranteed to have downtime at 6am CT.
Just ask anybody who is usually on at that time of day.
Or, wait until this Thursday and then next week on Tuesday and watch what happens the week after that as well. I bet Tuesday is their main downtime day now, just like I have known for a long long time.
Edit:
Also, it's been almost 24 hours and still no patch notes? -
Any sign of patch notes yet? I had a look but couldn't see any.
-
It's the same patch that went up on test overnight with no patch notes.
Live servers are back up. -
However, it is live now. You were just a little premature
-
It hasn't gone live yet.
ETA:
From the patch notes:
Quote:PLEASE NOTE: Signature Stories, Volume 2: Pandora's Box - Episode 1 will not be available immediately upon release of Issue 23: Where Shadows Lie. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience! -
-
I know it won't affect you but, for information purposes, you can only take the SA arcs in Ouro once you have completed them normally.

Heh that's pretty much my rating system too Canine
Quote:That's exactly my view too. Also, ID gives good resistance to his "punching the ground" attack which can kill squishies pretty quickly. For kins in this trial I'd like to offer the following suggestion:
Since people mostly stay in melee with Cole, it always pays to target Speed Boost directly at him which keeps most of the league SBed even in all of the ensuing chaos. Not only does SB reduce the recharge of all the important debuff and also buff powers, it also helps a TON in getting away once Cole is about to unleash his big lightning attack. SBed people will be hit not only a lot less in lightning columns (especially when that nasty movement suppression after attacks strikes!) but also the columns will be spread out much further allowing people to get back at Cole that much more quickly which is absolutely vital in this trial.
The most important thing to hit as often as possible is of course transfusion to stack that nasty -50% regen on Cole. SB, Siphon Power, Fulcrum Shift (and Siphon Speed to speed up your own powers) are a distant second. -
I can't help with your question but....Ouch! I hope you are fully recovered.
