I have taunt on all 3 of my tanks but, on a good team, rarely need to use it.

It's a good power but not essential.

My supergroup is planning on running the Cavern of Transcendence trial tonight (that's Thursday) evening at 8:00pm UK time and has a few of spots free.

The trial starts in the Hollows and requires 8 people to start and complete it. This will just be a quick 10 minute run through for badges/rewards.

Teamspeak users would be preferred but it's not essential. It just makes life easier

Anyone up for it?

A /SS tank shouldn't have many accuracy problems when using Rage really.

The main other uses I've found for epic powers are using holds when tackling sappers and you have no end drain resistance and the immobs can be useful to help with taunting AVs from range.

You can tank just fine without using the epics although they can add a little extra to many builds.

Earth/Storm is crazy fun. Masses of control and debuffs. Great in teams and, once you get the higher level storm powers, a reasonable soloer.

It's easy enough to do. Someone with full stealth and recall friend can get everyone in position quite quickly as long as they stay out of the lava.

I must admit, I have considered respeccing my illusion controller into a build for regular running of this trial.

As we're on the subject, I have a few questions regarding Dominators in pvp:

Do dominator pets have any use in PvP?
What about the epic pets, are they worth bothering with?
Do defense based sets give you any bother?
Are there any general tactics that work well?

You have to build it (out of salvage) first, then place it. Then you just click on it and the option to buy them comes up. They're 100 inf each.

It means you can't tell but afaik the badge should still be awarded. I can't answer the second bit as my SG is still a little way off.

You need the third SG healing badge to unlock the Combat Logs/Contemplation Charts plans which will allow you to buy BFs from your base medical facilities. This requires 100 million damage healed in SG/VG mode (1st one is 5 million, 2nd one is 25 million). The progress bar for the 3rd SG healing badge is broken.

I also have 3 Dam/3 Recharge using aim + bu and I use it whenever it's recharged. I also use Ball Lightning before the nuke.

Busy this Saturday evening and all day Sunday but good for any other time.
