Neither, Like Miss_Chief says, it will just increase your psionic resist.
What are you doing for knockback protection? If you are using acrobatics then that will also give you some extra hold protection and some hold resistance - meaning the holds on you won't last so long which will make it harder for them to stack enough to break your protection. -
That was a fun TF. One of these days I might even get a decent reward from it.

There is no need to get SJ for acro in PvE as you get dispersion bubble, which practically gives you better protection than acro.

ah yes, my bad... forgot bout kb.. more meant dispersion bubble protects from more mez effects than acro. Though if you get fly rather than SJ, you still got some form of kb "protection", the infamous flip in the air..

Sticking a Karma KB protection in Dispersion Bubble and/or on of your other shields will help with knockback quite a bit -
Yes that caps you out unless you are silly enough to wander into arctic air or similar.

thanks for the suggestions, but I'd never take flight or hover, it'd be completely out of concept for me. same reason why I got phase shift: it fits with the concept.
for what concerns travel powers, I have superjump and combat jumping because I want acrobatics. As a kinetic (with the need to be near to the action), I couldn't stand being continously knocked down by enemies, so with my last respec I threw CJ, SJ and Acrobatics in, and gave up on Inertial Reduction.
I think increase density is underrated. true, it doesn't last long, but I think it's a pretty good power nevertheless

You could try a Karma KB protection in CJ and skip acrobatics. If you also stick a Steadfast KB protection in ID you won't get knocked down much at all. -

Mai Pou Mind/Rad 50 Controller with Vengeance (also Fallout and a rez)
Baby Bit 50 Dark/Dark Defender with Vengeance
Screamadelic 50 Rad/Sonic defender no vengeance
All also have Geas. -
Perhaps I was being overly critical when I said much of it hadn't been updated. It's a very useful reference still but there are a few omissions/errors.

if it's a fire or ice tank without taunt i'm not really that arsed. tauntelss fire/ice require a different style of tanking, i.e. herd tanking.. but if the team takes that into account and lets them operate properly, they will be a more effective team tank than any perma-GA with two taunts could ever be.

I'm confused... Inv tanks need to herd more than any other tank, without a nice group of minions to protect them they are toast against non S/L damage. Ice tanks gain a little too.

fair point. invs do need to herd for def, i was just charging down the aggro management route and ignoring everything else really lol. the point i was trying to make is that invuln tanks taunt aura is the weakest in the game, so they are quite taunt-reliant for keeping aggro...

Nope, Invincibility has the same taunt magnitude and duration as all other taunt auras. It was fixed some time ago. Patch notes are here.
