  3. Maybe he popped his Tier 9 before entering SC? I know of a couple of stalkers on Union that regularly did that. Or maybe he just got lucky.

    Doing a quick back-of-the-[censored]-packet calculation...assuming they had 30% defense, which I think is about what you get just from toggles at level 30 and you having 90% accuracy, then you would have a 38% base tohit chance. Build Up and Aim would boost that considerably. Of course, you don't know what other buffs they stalker may have had on him at the time.
  4. It would be possible but still be pretty slow. Soloing speeds up a little after you get Animated Stone at level 32 and even more after Tornado and Lightning Storm but you will still be most effective in teams. Adding damage procs where possible also helps

    FWIW my level 46 Earth/Storm can solo on invincible just fine but I still prefer to team with him when possible.

  6. I would say that if you are using your toggles a lot you would still need stamina unless you pick up some +recovery set bonuses or a unique IO. Perhaps something to respec into later?

    I agree with F_F on the Salt Crystals and I would only take one of the immobilizes depending on play style. Everything else in the primary is worth taking IMO.

    Earth/ is also a set that benefits greatly from Hasten imo as you have several medium and long recharging powers.

    Being able yo stick your placeable powers down around corners can make life much easier than many other controller sets

Actually it was more along the lines of he doesn't know if it is or isn't being considered as that's not his area but even if it was, it will take a while to be implemented as the teams are busy. Either way it's not going to change anytime soon but it does, at least, appear to be on their radar.

    I totally agree about the debt badges tho and not forgetting the damage taken one.

  9. It's quite possible that only earned prestige counts. If that's the case then your prestige earned would be Total - Bonus for joining + Paid in Rent.

    I was thinking about something along these lines too although I'm not sure that all sets would receive equal benefit which may count against it but it's certainly an idea with merit.

    Here's a practical demonstration by a Fire/EM tank. Fire/Fire could do it quicker. Personally I am glad those days are gone as it often seemed the only teams going were PLing teams with tanks (except Ice which sucked) herding up an entire map then either killing the mobs themselves or having a blaster nuke the lot. It may have been fun for them but it was exceedingly dull for the rest of the team.
  15. You can squeeze a little more out of Aid Self by slotting 2 interrupts and a Heal/Rech and Heal/End/Rech from the Numina and Doctored Wounds sets. It may be a lot to pay for a small boost tho.

    'Better' is very subjective and like Nightmarer says they do play a bit differently.

    Try both for a few levels and see which you prefer. After all, there's nothing to stop you playing both

    I disagree with both of those the defense of shadow fall is 5%. 3 slotting it with level 50 Defense IOs gains you less than 3% extra defense to all compared to an extra 11.7% energy/negative/psi resist. Besides Shadow Fall and either Fearsome Stare or Twilight Grasp will have most things at the -tohit cap anyway.

    More than 1 slot in health and 3 in Stamina is a waste imo.

    Below is a build with some other slotting suggestions. I have tried to keep the powers the same but I have swapped TK Blast out for Tactics as imo you have too many single target attacks.

    Personally I would try and get Tar Patch in a lot earlier. Perhaps swapping it with Shadow Fall which you may not have the endurance to run too much pre-Stamina anyway.

    You may also need to swap out some of the recharges in the attacks with end reducers until you sort out some set IOs. A +recovery IO in health will make life much easier.

    Its amazing how much time between these 2 chains are, only due redraw. Redraw does indeed reduce casting time on long casting, but most powers with 1sec casting still last 2 sec (you cant slice if you dont have your weapon ready).

    Also, I could swear that statement does NOT hold true for mace. I just tested with Shatter.. Animation appears EXACTLY the same with or without redraw.
