It's Oni that uses the fire powers, not Genin.

Plus they throw caltrops and at the end of the day the damage all adds up.
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope, it's the Jounin that use Caltrops.
Personally I don't use the Genin much at all when teamed unless we are taking on AVs or I need to take the alpha strike. -
I suspect the -500% regen of LR may be more than enough to overcome the regen of the tentacles. A couple of months ago I was able to take down a tentacle with my Kin/Psi defender with a tank holding all the agro while we were waiting to start a STF. We did have a grav/rad troller join us at some point but I think that was after we had taken down one tentacle.

Castle has given us some more info here:
[ QUOTE ]
Stalkers Assassination attacks have been modified for PvE use. The damage scalar used for the critical portion has been broken into two parts. The first part, which operates the same as the original Critical, is now 2/3rds its previous value. The second part, however, does 10% of the targets maximum health, prior to resistances. Against underlings and minions, this results in slightly lower overall damage. Against Lieutenants, the damage is roughly equivalent. In all other cases, the overall damage output should be significantly increased.

Thanks to those that joined us, that was a fun SF

I just noticed that post myself. I wonder what they have in mind.

I'm with Cynic on that one. I doubt an FFG-like Targetting Drone would be able to keep up with me in PvE or PvP.
As for the perception things, /Devices blasters can hit the perception cap on their own meaning you can see any stalker that comes withing 10ft. -
Animated Stone is certainly tougher than Jack Frost but doesn't cycle his attacks as well. At least he actually closes to melee these days rather than hanging back and throwing a rock at a corpse every minute or so...

because the -res on /Rad powers is very very nice, just like all of the debuffs from defender secondaries
[/ QUOTE ]
I think you mean -defense which is also an extremely useful secondary effect. -
5 costumes, 5 different claws although generally I use the Talsorian set. Not that it matters, with my secondary being /DA nobody can see them anyway.
-
In general its not worth slotting more than 3 of the same enhancement type into the a power once you get to SO level (25+) as the benefit you receive tails off quite a bit. I think my scrapper slotted 2 Acc/2 Recharge/2 Dmg before I started using set IOs. Others may have used alternative slotting.

The mass immob is good for using with wormhole to cut down the amount of stuff that gets sent flying but otherwise will just generate lots of agro for you imo.
Edit:
Ah yes forgot about the procs, good idea! -
A pretty good summary but I would argue one point: Hibernate.
If you have Taunt and your aura(s) well slotted then you should have no trouble keeping agro while your HP return to maximum. -
Yup Phantasm's attacks should light an Oil Slick...when he's not busy knocking everything off it
-
I agree with Cynic, even with just DOs I get many more hits than misses with Fistfull of Arrows especially when used after Acid Arrow.
-
It should be the same as with Focused Accuracy + Tactics + Focused Senses, 10 ft. At level 50 the stealth cap is 1143ft and the perception cap is 1153ft.
-
Focused Senses + Tactics + Perception IO should take you to the perception cap up to WB level but not in RV where you would need an extra buff. The empowerment station perception buff would do the job if you have no team members that can do the job. That would allow you to go the caltrops route.

Nice turnout! Congratulations to all competitors

You will notice, every 15-20 minutes the Flyer will "Vanish" from were ever it is (even mid fight!!) and reappear on the east side of its spawn area on full health.
so..if you wait for it to re-set like this, you should only have to fight it once.

Great advice! The flier gave us no problems at all
Apart from one or two small hiccups with the 'big 4' AVs (trying to take all 4 at once...not a great idea) it went remarkably well. Thanks for joining us Mum and Illum
-
Ooh hadn't noticed that before. Cheers for the advice
-
I'm not sure what you mean by 'wait for it to reset'. Let it get back to the area where LR is and let it start another circuit?
-
Thanks for the advice. Those were the areas we were expecting to have problems but it helps to get someone else's perspective

Which bits have people found the trickiest when trying for the MoSTF?
