Quote:I did not find this at all. I tried the AT, and didn't much care for it. A Night Widow is better in pretty much all aspects.Stalkers are the best solo AT out there. Unfortunately they have limits v AVs especially, but also for leveling in general.
...
Other than VEATS
A controller is the best solo class in my experience. Doms are also Excellent -
I have had the opposite. I have had people ask to pay me to team on the red side. Seems people solo more there and I was offered 2 Mill to join a team, which I would have joined anyways. So I did not take the money.
It's because AE farms were popular and are weeded out now, so this person thinks they are doing you a favor by leveling you very quickly, but they don't realize that by doing that you miss out on merrits, badges, and junk.
On the other hand, with TF's running more and more people playing 50's rather than lowbies, and the incarnate system geared for end game toons, this person is either ego driven farmer, or smart. I mean, smart as in..."You are new or you like that toon and you don't have a 50, so Ill cash in by farming you to a level in which you can participate in the fun"
Seriously, I dislike the farming. I really do, but sometimes, just sometimes, when I enjoy a toon, and cant TF I wish it would come back, because the grind sometimes kills ya a little, and really all you want to do is play, and while some people want to solo content, most would rather team and when you are casual, like me, it's daunting.
It feels like CO...which I hated because there was litteraly no reason to ever team ever. -
Only one 50 and she makes me mad. So I have to make another 50, which takes a long time, which makes me sad. I can't get anything over 32 which makes me annoyed by my altitis.
I am not sure how to make my Psi/Empath level 50 fun again. She was only fun because I would team with her a lot, cuz well, I like teams and no one says no to an Emp Defender. Or at least no one has said no.
I think she would have been a better controller.
Mayhaps Ill delete her and remake her an illusion/Empath controller.
And see...this is how it starts.
Thanks for ruining my life. -

Found it!
Mother Mayhem...Mental Rehabilitation Station!
I actually wonder if perhaps....just perhaps, if Cole himself is not controlled by her evil low calorie delight.
Prolly not, but I have a feeling, that she designed this and that the only people who are immune are the destroyers because of the Superdyne. Which makes em crazy, have orange hair and skin, and say dumb things like "Boom Baby"
If on Primal Earth the Destroyers are similar to Enraged Miner people, or Trolls, then perhaps they are the good guys?
Ill continue my research. Ill keep you all posted.
Don't use the Emote. Don't....
Recent informtation on the news thread indicates a new security feature. I am wondering if those using the Enriche Emote have, by accident given their passwords away... and they dont even know it. Or maybe they do know it, and don't care.
Again, I will continue to keep you and the resistance posted on my findings about this vile, mind erasing drink.
In real life now...I went and bought some Ensure. You know that meal replacement stuff, and I drank it, and while not mind enslaved...yet, (To early to tell, I just drank it) it is sorta chalky, and while I was conviced that I hated it, I kept drinking it anyways.
Either way... More on this to come. Be safe Virtue resistance members. Keep strong, don't drink Enriche, and Ill be located at the University by the recycling bin handing out information slips about Enriche and it's evil. -
I ran 14 missions today with a really good leave in conditioner in my hair. I then stopped playing and washed my hair and it was silky.
I think thats casual.
Oh, and I got a purple, and while I was under the blow dryer, I sold it for 78 Mill.
I felt casual and my hair looked fantastic. I also had that glow of having freshly conditioned hair and 78 Mill in my pocket! -
I smell Lag.
Also...I like Sky Raiders. As a Grav player right now I like to just fly around and hit em with something and watch them fall. I don't kill em, but I like to watch em fall.
Still those are neato pics -
Okie Doke!
Nazis? Yeah, we like to punch em, but frankly, from what I have experienced in Praet and the blue side, and the red side is that Praet was never supposed to be more than something designed to bring Primal Earth more flare.
I mean, it is an accessory or a tool that was created to take an already good story and offer a different take. Punching Nazis is already in the game. Punch away!
Praetorians are boring because of Enriche! Which I have been researching and am pretty sure Mother is behind it in the Mental Rehabilitation Center.
But not to derail in to theories. I think that the expansion pack and I20 were never intended to replace the original content but expand on makeing heroes villains and villains into heroes. And for the most part it has done that showing the duality of each of the Cannon toons and what they could have been if the decisions they had made in the past changed what they would be in the future.
I am not a member of the Praet Fan Club as much as some, but it does exactly what it said it was going to do, which was allow for decisions of moral code to be made.
Sure there are villains that I would love to see become more interesting. I loved Black Swan, which I think is an awesome toon and her realm thing is cool looking, and My toon The White-Swan kicked her in the but...psionicly of course, but still it was like fighting my nemisis. Until I had to fight myself, which was cool too, until I realized that my alter ego was using my same powers and well that was lack lustre because I hit her with a stun and she died pretty much right away. And the reason I stunned her is because If my toon gets mezzed, being a defender, She dies right away and so I just did what kills me to her.
Nazis? Yeah punch em in the face, but they are already there in the game.
My problem with the incarnate system is that A) I don't really get it or don't understand how to do it. B) Only have one 50 and she bores me ((See the stun = Death theory above)) C) I am a casual gamer and if I get an incarnate I want to love that toon and I cannot find anything I love, and D) Not enough information has been shared yet to really make me jump on the band wagon just yet. -
Personally
I was going to arrange an intervention for Miss Warwitch. Her not so new fad is astral projection...however shes in Pocket D with her magical cup of never ending booze. Seriously....unless she has Bladder Control or her Magic prevents her from charfing...what ever it is that she drinks off of the side of the railing, then I think we need to really sit her down.
I called Dr. Phil, and he said to bring her on the show.
But we map servered, so Witch...well, her intervention is on hold now. -
I like how it is now
Tanks can actually tank low levels and thats seems to make them enjoy the class more.
Blasters enjoy it
I actually don't see much of a difference except that now people are taking other power pools which benefit the team much more than before. -
-
One person even forgot their name. His name is "Man", and while he is a man...his name is now just "Man".
I went back to visit Praetoria...just to listen. And Listen I sure did.
NPC = "Did you see Lucy, She looks Great"
The other responded
NPC =Enriche is low in calories and delicious
Thats not a conversation. Thats...thats...Enriche!
But...isn't it a little odd that sometimes you get the load screen
"Its all a nemisis plot"
And then suddenly
"Enriche is filling and low in calories"
I am sure Im not the first person to think this. I am sure others noticed as well. But...anything named PEACH DIVINITY that is not a stripper...I just don't trust. -
-
I would love a pin ball mini.
Ill have to get some purples to sell on the market though. I can see myself spending a lot of time on that mini -
Rift-Dancer
White-Swan
Show-Girl
Nemean Lioness
Wind-Spirit
I like -'s I do. Spider-Man has one and if it's good enough for him, She-Ra and He-Man then it's good enough for me. -
We have a new enemy. And it's worse than you think. The people...In Praetoria are mindless drones, and I figured it all out. Linsten closely. They are peacefull, quiet, docile little zombies, and the secret weapon of choice is ENRICHE!
Have you Tried Peach Divinity? Have you? It's so fantastic its practically mind enslaving.
Lets go play soccer in the park...but...Im getting this weird feeling I should be doing something...something important! Darn...can't remember. But Im hungry. Have some Freaking PEACH DIVINITY! MMMM...Peachy...Soccer...*Drool* ENRICHE!
Low in Calories and filling...this mind numbing Elixer no doubt created by Neuron has us weak. The resistance too! I saw one drinking it.
Heck. Im on her side. Fighting the good fight, and she attacks me. Sure I'm not dressed like her, and I don't have my Resistance membership club card on me, but she opens fire and calls me a Blueberry? Blueberry? Perhaps the flavor of Enriche that took her from being a warrior to a mindless mass of blue armor wearing (With a poo hair selection) gun toting Cole Slave Girl!
Oh yes...this is a plot alright. I know it...I saw.
So...now that my rant is done.
Our new weekly task force is to destroy Enriche! Where is it produced. I have no Idea, but Ill tell you this...Join me. Join in the fight to remove low calorie mind wiping PEACH DIVINITY off the planet.
We can do it. We can save Praetoria!
*Signed*
Rift-Dancer
PS. Don't drink the Koolaid either. -
People would wonder why I named my Cat Rikti, and it would be harder to explain.

Fixed my problem
I took my endurance sucking Warhade Rift-Dancer, Deleted it, took the really awesome story I created about her merging, and then (Cuz I kept getting eaten by Void Stalkers) said she got captured, and was removed by force from her host.
The Host then mutated because of the residual effects, but kept the costume and the name in honor of her dead symbiot.
Made her into a Grav/FF Troller and tinted all of her powers Purple tones, then added the toxic vapour aura to initiate on combat as to mimic her Warshade powers. Grav was a given. Then took Teleport to mimic the Warshades Teleport powers and this resulted in not only a cool story but thematicaly she fits the bill.
Now she hunts Void Stalkers with vengence because of what they did to her buddy.
And thats how I have corrected my issue. Plus thowing toilets at enemies is awesome, and frankly when pulling mobs using a couch or soiled mattress, it has come to my attention that gravity...is ammusing.
And I dont run out of endurance.
Issue solved...Im happy, shes happy, the costume is great and the RP fantastic. -
First off. Knockback is mitigation. Sure it ticks off the tanks and scrapper and melee but seriously if used right then it's solid.
My Storm Corr will use gale liberally if you can't keep aggro off my ****.
That being said, I hate energy because thats just to much knockback
I love Gravity because you can nullify knockback with your hold and throwing urinals at everything never gets old. Never!
Most annoying set is sonic because it makes my ears bleed. The rest I can work around. Even energy. -
Quote:I play the White-Swan...She needs that cape. Well..I dont need it, but what a wonderfull world if bird themed toons which were not Manimals, could have something...I dunno...Bird like. Not gonna happen. But, the Distinguished Competition has a staff-fighting set, and I must say this is hella cool. And you can customize the staff with many pretty variants, some of which have glow-in-the-dark parts. We could use this over here.
I killed swan once in a bank. I wanted to rip that darn thing off of her cold dead corpse, and now...whenever The White-Swan has to level up at her...I just cringe. At her flagrant wearing of her magic swan cape...just goading me. Then...she has the nerve to ask me if Id like a Title.
No...dont title me, just gimmie your cape. She says no. And I ask her to title me. The Really Ticked off White-Swan, with no cool swan cape. She also declines.
@#$%^ -
I know this is the blaster forum, but I am playing a Elec/Storm Corr
I sleath in, hit freezing rain and then drain the bouncing crowd. It actually does help. And in some cases can mitigate a ton of damage thats hitting your team. You can't fire off your mega powers if you dont have the endurance, so many of the teams I have played on git hit with level 1 or 2 powers, and not much else.
I would imagine elec secondary is where I would have an issue. It's also good for sapping, but elec blast seems to do it well enough without secondary support sapping. Something with a different type, like Psi or Ice would be interesting, because not only are you sapping like mad, but you also have the secondary effect of Psi which slows recharge, mitigating even that level one attack drained foes have to use. Ice for similar reasons.
again I am coming from this from a Corr Standpoint, but I set up my elec blast with short cercuit, with endurance mods, and then my AOE Ball Lightning in the same format. So that I just really need to hit SC, and then fire off BL to drain everything. -
A Controller. Illusion/Anything
Add in the following
Boxing, Kick, Weave, Tough
Flurry
Combat Jumping, Super Jump Accrobatics
Air Superiority
Ignore half of your secondary sets abilities
Focus on illusion mainly
Slot up the dinky melee attack you took and watch the double damage sore
Make the Scrapper Feel bad about them selves
Confuse the tank because now he just thinks you have mental issues
Solo Everything with your never ending supply of illusion pets
Stand invisability while pets do their thing, make a sandwich, wash rince repeat. Add personal FF if you choose this and make sandwiches with impunity.
Thats a solo toon, and sandwiches.
{Edit} because I am seriously not joking -
At first I thought. Wow...your ISP sucks...and needs a punch...or a kick, or something from the figting pool.
But it seems that we are having issues with Map Servering. I thought it was just myself, but sometimes when I Map Server and get reinvited back to the team, only 4 people are left. The other 4 have all Map Servered with me. I have played a ton of games, most being quite graphicly intensive, and I can generally play them without issue of DCing, even with full Graphic setting on high.
I am not computer smart like some people, but my graphics card is good, and my computer is a solid gaming machine that a solid gamer built for me, to handle AOC whenI played it, so I assume with the graphic intensity of that game that the rig can't be a complete steaming pile of waste. And I assume that others are in the same boat.
Now I have experienced this with other games as well, and from checking forums, it seems it's a common thing or complaint within a few communities. LoTRO, DnD Online, and many issues revolving around that brand names company. But it seems common here as well.
Now my roomate, being a...I dunno...customer service nightmare had to change our ISP and we now have a VOIP connection and we have a router as well, which is what I am connected to. I wonder if that might be the concern.
So, my question is if perhaps routing the VOIP thing through the Router, as opposed to running the Voip thiny through the computer and then having the router connected to it, would be the best answer, or is it perhaps that this ISP VOIP thing is just not compatible with certain online games. Again I can play other games without disruption.
If anyone has an idea about this, that would be helpful, and perhaps other who are experiencing this issue, who have similar systems might be able to resolve this issue, or at least I can relay the information to them. -
Quote:I know...I just want something I can become attatched to. Wierd..another super hero game (Which sucked monkey....marbles) I managed to create that. However that game was horrid..I seem to be throwing myself at concepts and not really creating something I conssider interesting...interesting does not always get the job done.Happens all the time, but I certainly wouldn't delete any characters over it, unless you just really hate them.
I played my DP/Pain Corrupter to around 32 before getting bored and moving on to another character. He sat there for months, until I got bored of the other character I made. Then, as I glanced over my characters, I saw my Corrupter and remembered the fun I had and started playing him again.
He just reached 45 last night.
I'm getting bored again, but it's not because the character is bad. It's because I have ideas for other alts and an itch to play some of my already existing characters. As my desire to play other characters rises my desire to play my Corrupter wanes. But even if I don't push through to 50 right now, I know that some day in the future I will see him sitting in my character menu and remember how fun he is. At that point I will lose interest in whatever other character I'm playing at the time and enjoy my Corrupter once more.
Also, don't buy the whole "I have to find which AT I am!" My first character was a Tank, and I found myself taking to the role easily. I would even say how I found "my AT." Then I made my Rad/Rad Defender. Then I made the only character I have ever taken straight to 50 with no breaks; my Warshade. I would even say that Warshades are my AT, and it probably is as close as it can get to being so, but then I could turn around and play a Scrapper. There are no "my AT's", just a bunch of fun characters ready to get played.
Thanks for a lot of good advice. Perhaps I am just not a good builder. Thats possible. But...the game pretty much tells you what to do...in the overall. Like you know a path or at least have one.
Ill go back to the drawing board and figure it out, but thanks again for taking...a (Ill admit) a some what vanity thread and giving me some good advice.
Ill make the leap past 32-35 eventually...and then Ill be ok.
