  1. I'd also add, don't "kill" the second account. Just unsub but leave it. All those characters will still be there if you ever decide to reactivate. You never know.

  2. A sad time for you, KeepDistance, and a good warning to us all.

One of my gamer friends made fun of me for working out until I told him, "I don't do it because I like it. I do it because I don't want to hate mirrors."

  3. Whether you love or hate microtransactions, allowing the most enthusiastic authors to buy more MA arc slots is a brilliant idea. Making them vet rewards would just be a bonus, especially since many of the MA enthusiasts are long-time vets. But whatever the arc limit is, it'll always be too low for some people.

All in all, I'd think the Dev's Choice system does worse to demoralize MA enthusiasts than free arc slots would.

That and the fact that, for average players, the soul-crushing reality that no one will ever see, much less play, your arc.

I'd actually eat that if you cut the burgers into pieces and spread them out evenly along with the fries instead of just putting them on there.

What's with you COH players demanding customization for EVERYTHING?

Paying money to NCSoft: The best part about this thread is that when people say they pay their $15 a month so they should be able to (fill in the blank), we'll have to correct them and say only 8.95 goes to Paragon Studios.

    Say YES to NO!

I'm beginning to miss Golden Girl.

  7. A nice idea, but too many spoilers. And, unfortunately, if people can leave public comments, it unleashes a whole other can of worms.

Besides, you can quickly start an arc and bail out if you don't like it.

  8. I have had the music turned off since the first week, and still get annoyed when it plays in some missions only in particular spots.

The problem here is not confined to this one person, but is increasingly widespread amongst the population. I find myself ill-inclined to keep rezzing these people, even on an AT that can do it, because this enables their laziness and sense of entitlement.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The core issue. Similar to those who only want TP taxibots when they're on a team. Some people seem too lazy to reach "mediocre".

    OMG YES.

They should make this a separate 101 in the tutorial, not that it would help the dumb MAsses. Everyone dies, but you're not helping anyone by staying down.

  13. Same as Nethergoat and EvilGeko, my love character is in the original costume. And I hate that this was not my badge character, because the badger gets all the time, but I can only truly love my dark/dark.

"Mob" seems like it's for people who are just dying to tell you their stories about Meridian 59 and the good old days.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I have no idea what "Meridian 59" is (or was), but it still cracked me the hell up. Bunch of old codgers on the porch in their rocking chairs, grousing about how, in their day, a mob was a gray wolf and they were grateful for it.

I prefer "baddies" or "enemies" myself. I also recognize that the COH Dev team uses "critters".

    +1 to Part_Troll's suggestion.

More Costume Pieces? You Look Fabulous in DOOOOOOOM!!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Jay needs to make a costume set called Doom. Seriously. He does.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And to make it a Doom set, you cannot select it in the character editor. Pieces can only show up when using the Random button.

How is it that we cannot choose only one power set?

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is an interesting question, and I think it ties in to the game's strong roots in comic books.

That being said, I think the only real answer that applies is, "<blink blink blink> But... there are TWO. You pick TWO!"

There's no right or wrong answer, it's just the way the game is structured. As many above have written, there are ways to use only one set, or RP two sets as one, if you want.

You're right! It's about time that the southern zones of Skyway City, Talos Island, Brickstown, and Founders' Falls rise up against the tyranny and oppression the northern zones! Down with Steel Canyon, Striga Isle, Croatoa, and Peregrine Island!
