Return of the old "Storm Kick"?
[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe it's not the return of the old one, but a new and updated version of it that fits the standard animation time.

What Nethergoat said.
Also, if you're into robotic characters, you'll most likely love additional costume options in the Cyborg pack.

Personally, I think there will be a small hit to performance. Most of us probably won't notice it, but at some level they have to send a little more information per character.

Get the bucket, Ma, I caught another one!

Potential problems with Issue 16:

You know, complainers like you that find fault with everything are why there's so much doom and gloom on the forums!
To quote Obsidious' quote, Lighten up, Francis.

The best thing about I16? With the powerset proliferation, I won't need to create that arrow defender I'd been contemplating.
So many choices!

Super Strength and Martial Arts will each receive an alternate animation for their powers
[/ QUOTE ]
Parsing time! Does this statement mean each =power= gets an alternate animation, or that there is just =one= animation for the powerset?
Discuss.

Full of win and awesome, and you are honored with the Golden Steel Claws award.

I think the real issue of the game being "severely damaged" is that new players who have quickly leveled up quickly have unrealistic leveling expectations.
Let's face it, leveling up, getting new powers, and then trying them out is a big thrill, especially for new players. The AE levelfest that many have complained about make that thrill happen more frequently.
The big problem is, once those people go out into the regular game, leveling may be too slow and grindy for them. If they don't like it, they may quit the game. And that's not what we want.

Hey, you can't =have= baloney without farms!

Just bought and applied mine. Now it IS built into the tailor. For me, anyway. Woot!

I'd prefer they use 2xp as a lure to get the MA babies away from their consoles and out into the wider world.

The idea of making people "go outside and play" inside the game just cracks me up!

I mostly need a conceptual reason why my character will have multiple costumes. I know most people will do alternate costumes symbolizing a transformation or maybe just day wear. What are some other ideas?
The character I have is more of a warrior type so he appears to wear heavy armor. To be honest I cannot think of a reason why he would have multiple costumes outside of "just because."
Any ideas to toss?
[/ QUOTE ]
Bolding mine.
What gods, ancestors, or spirit guides does your warrior pay fealty to? Multiple versions of armor can exist for each specific fealtor, and you wear the one that honors them, maybe for a specific enemy they hate or represent.
Do you fight for ideals? Maybe your armor sets are very similar, but each uses color accents that stand for things such as Integrity, Loyalty, Justice, and Revenge.
Maybe your warrior is a mercenary and uses an armor set that most closely matches his current employer.
Do those ideas help?

Yesterday I see a comment for the first time "A true farm... God I love reporting these". Today my mission is banned.

Oh great, another teabagger. Why open yourself up for counter-abuse? Just report, quit TF, and click Finished with no comment.

I should roll a character on Freedom and start liveblogging for the benefit of those that can't log on this weekend.

Welcome to the game? The OP has a forum reg date of 2006. What gives?

If I needed money, I'd be willing to run the content to get one! (I think I've gotten 3 in the entire time they've been out.)
I'm more concerned about the 8500+ tickets on my 36 defender. Do you know how long it takes to burn through tickets when you're buying common salvage?

Especially since Lothic (last I checked) still not happy that the dves took the time to change the alakazamreact emote to bring up random objects when one the juggle emotes still don't work when hovering (even after it was pointed out that it BAB said it was fixed but got broken again).
[/ QUOTE ]
That was me...but in my defense:
1) I didn't know that the juggle emotes weren't working with flight at the time (technically, they were working, they were just being immediately interrupted by the flight idle animations)
2) It took about 10 minutes to copy the giant list of FX GEOs from Propel, and then remove the ones that were way too big
3) It made me giggle like a schoolgirl for a solid couple of hours.
[/ QUOTE ]
the mental image of #3 makes it all worth it.
incidentally, does anyone happen to know if the pumpkin still exists as a possibility?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, it is still a possibility. Because, like the quoted BAB post above, I also giggle like a schoolgirl at it. As I stand in the mission entrance waiting for my teammates, I do it over and over and over and just giggle at all the results.
