That was the first thing I thought, too.

Same here. But personally, I'm hoping for the first one.

To test, or not to test: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous essay questions,
Or to take arms against a sea of multiple choice...

    Gone Rouge

We should know more after this weekend and HeroCon. Hopefully.

Any melee attack that results in knockdown/knockback, or defeating an enemy, is met with, "PIKKOW!"

Here's what's worked for the wee ones I've introduced to Paragon City:

Map the arrow keys to forward, backward, strafe left, and strafe right. That covers movement for them.

Map the Tab key to Target Nearest Enemy. That makes it easy for them to select a target.

Then let them click everything else with the mouse. (Also, set the option to lock powers in tray. They have trouble getting them to fire otherwise.)

  8. Sad news, Joe. I still love-love-love the Hai Karate story.

  10. Because you can only like what you're playing now. It you left it, you did so for a reason, and you can't be wrong, so therefore it must suck.

Now, tell Dr. NT, how does that make you feel?

Edit: Gah, beaten to the post!

This. All my characters are concepts based on the powersets available at the time.

So very this. There's a corner in the NT Reactor Room (my part of the basement mom lets me have) that's perfect for a life-sized stand-up cardboard Desdemona.

SSKing has removed the "Why are you hitting yourself?" from the game.

From one that finds it not fun, and is not an uber player, thank you.

Double XP - What did YOU Accomplish?
Opening a can of worms mystery.

My gf logged on a very old scrapper, probably created as a "what if". This character hadn't been logged on in 430 days. Level 3, in Atlas Park.

The enhancement tray had 9 level 49 and level 50 set IOs. This wee defender was loaded down with all sorts of Positron's Blast and similar sets. What the hell? She had no idea what the Set IOs even were, much less any memory of how she'd gotten them.

Well, I guess my fire blaster will be trying out some new bonuses now.

But solving the mystery? It's a cold case.

  18. It seems to be especially bad when exiting elevators.

And when trying to get a peek at Countess Crey in her outfit in that dimly-lit cave...

  21. I had a great time. It was my first time on an all-one-AT team, and it was a blast. Thanks to NuclearMedicine for setting this up. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at the good turnout when I showed up.

And I was also surprised to see 7 tankers take down an AV. Awesome!

  23. You play one of your 50s, like you always do, and join a team doing lower-level missions.

As you blithely travel, like you always do, to the team's location, you are instakilled.

"What the...? Oh yeah, I'm level 25 now."

Considering that the purple patch, enhancement diversification, and suppression still burn white-hot in the posts of some people, your chances are good that MA/AE nerfs will join them in the timeless teeth-gnashing corner of dead horse subjects.
