Ice Melee for me is an under performer, but for some reason I still keep trying to make it work (I really want to like it ...).

I think Ice_Ember has hit on a good possible combo. Shield Defense adds both a Damage Buff and an additional AoE (a very strong one). It also provides additional mitigation with Ice Patch.

IMO its Single Target damage needs to be looked at.

Pretty much what the title says, what is the maximum amount of storage per base? I know it changes a bit with the different floor plans...but my SG is stuck at 18 storage containers. Is that the max or do we need to go up a few floor sizes to get more?

For me Invuln/Fire was slow going until FSC. Life got good then. I'm still leveling him, but at least he solos much faster now.

I got my purps picking on EB's in RWZ. Not the fastest thing I've ever done, but not bad for a lunch time activity....

First; I like the fights. I like massive chaotic knockdown-dragout brawls that last for five minutes straight. Most of my really fun memories in CoH usually revolve around those types of fights. A guilty pleasure is watching my group wipe (multiple times) on the same fight and reform while I'm still going at it the whole time, to eventually overcome that particular encounter.

1) This, and I know what you mean about guilt pleasure. Although I do like the continual "meat grinder" as well.

2) I have a terrible case of Altitis, so building toons is a close second. I enjoy the "what about this power combination" and the "how would this combo work" aspect of it, then trying out...

3) 'Plexing over how to slot and IO them. I find this a mental exercise that ranks right up there with foreshortening and relief sculpture.

4) Just plain Tanking!!!

Agreed, it will slow your foes providing extra damage in that respect. Ice Storm from Arctic Mastery would act the same way as well as provide some extra damage.

Thank you for sharing these builds with me. I'll put them to good use and let you know what I come up with.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. It's a great combo and a very fun run to 50.

edit: I went with Melt Armor and Fireball

I’ve got a level 50 Fire/Ice/(open to options on the Epic, have tried Pyre and Arctic) that I’m looking to respect. The toon dinged 50 shortly after I5 and has been mostly silent since. I’d like to get it back in the game, but I’m having difficulty coming up with a build that I like. I’m looking for advice on IO sets, slotting, what’s working for others and hopefully a few builds.

Hard to say, but I tend to like Fiery Aura over the other primaries. I'd have to say my favorite is probably Fire/SS/Pyre. Although... I'm leveling a Fire/SM/Pyre which is a fun build as well.

Sounds great! I'm a big fan of TT. Would agree to keep the original on Champion, have a ton of Tanks on all servers. I'll be there when the word is given. And, the 21st seems like a good time to start!

I'm all for a Tanker Tuesday 5yr Plaque. The event has certainly earned the right. If other servers have events that equal or surpass what TT has done for five years I would support them receiving plaques as well.
