As far as stun mag concerned, it was insane since of introduction of Khan TF. I've been stunned through IW and 2 break frees (30 Mag stun protection). On another hand, while running Khan almost daily, I've never notice non-offensive toggle drop.

Quote:Difficulty settings don't affect TFs/SFs at the moment. Besides that, all AVs on the last mission are level 54.Not sure exactly what the heck has happened to the STF but for some reason the 4 AVs this time were undefeatable. No matter how much damage we did to them, they seemed to either auto heal faster than we could damage them or deflect all the damage. Everybody was lvl 50 and we are all experienced players.
Many of us including me have done the STF before and been successful at it.
Does anybody know if there is a bug on it or if they changed the difficulty. Our difficulty was set at -1 + no AVs.
Rich the Very Frustrated Guy
My friends and I haven't done STF since last patch, but we may try it later tonite -
Quote:[Reichsman.Fist of Tyranny] gives the same numbers as [Fist of Tyranny]...
Edit:
Forgot to say those in-game power descriptions are bugged more often than not. You might need to do [Reichsman.Fist of Tyranny] to get the actual value. I am not able to verify that at the moment though. I know GWs Soul Storm has to be specified as [Ghost Widow.Soul Storm]. -
Fist of Tyranny info shows me this:
Code:30.59 smashing damage on target 50.00%% chance for 10.00 magnitude stun for 18.63s on target -7.00% AttrEndurance on target 40.00%% chance for -100.00% recovery rate for 4.00s on target 29.36 negative energy damage on target 80.00%% chance for 0.64 magnitude knockback on target

Borked RNG?
Of my last 7 purple drops, 5 were Absoulute Amazements /*shrug -
Also, 1st mission of Barracuda SF has tons of PPDs.

Quote:Here is a screenie of negative stealth that has no effect on stealth radius.Yes, but it's zero magnitude and doesn't actually do anything.
Weird.
BTW, this toon has more than 1 Billion of infamy
Here are fraps of the retarded hostage from paper mission http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwoiTTGYRFM
1) Mask Presence is running, hostie is getting lost realy quick even while i'm moving slowly.
2) No stealth, hostie is fine
3) SS is on, the same as with mask presence.
4) No stealth again, hostie is fine
I think, there are different hostage AIs, so experience might be different for different hostages. For example AI for Warburg techs would comletely ignore stealth and tech will follow you no matter what, unless you moving too fast. -
-
I know that about SS, but I can move just 10 feet from them when they are starting "lost" dialog.
-
I have totally different experience. Hostie is getting lost very quick unless I turned off SS and one of other stealth powers.

Quote:BTW, I necro'd this thread http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showp...&postcount=771 one day before of OP with somewhat similar question. And I ran dropstats on my log files. During the Halloween event I was getting drops either below or at low bracket for expected drop rates on more than 3000+ minion equivalent. It is very possible, that I was victim of RNG, but given history of reintroduction of old bugs into new patches, I wouldn't be surprised if drop rate bug made it into patch for halloween event.I'm seeing similar expected rates over a few hundred defeats each across several characters and even got a purple yesterday.
However, to be fair the recently fixed drop bug wasn't a bug in the drop rate. It was a bug that caused mobs to intermittently appear to be gray and therefore drop nothing. It's a subtle but important difference.
It may be that the OP has found another case where this condition arises. The only way to be sure is for him to collect data and check the stats. I find that even doing one radio mission on x8/+0 is enough to get close to the expected rates.
On brighter note: I've been running dropstats post halloween event, and been getting drops in the middle of expected rates. -

I think, there was a post from Horatio, where he stated that you need to hit Reichsman with Grounding Ray only once, to prevent him from using his t9

AFAIK, turning in Halloween salvage can trigger either zombie or deadly apocalypse

Quote:Maybe Galetta meant macros/binds for quick targeting? These might help saving few seconds, while you trying to find generals, crystals, etc. Otherwise macros don't provide any advantage.
Macros do very little in this game in general. About the only major use they have in CoH is tray switching for Kheldians who change forms.
I'm really not sure why you'd think they'd do much for this or any TF.
I'm using the following bind for targetting on ITF/LGTF/STF/5TF/Hami:
NUMPAD0 "targetcustomnext "security chief"$$targetcustomnext Infernia$$targetcustomnext Glacia$$targetcustomnext "General"$$targetcustomnext mending$$targetcustomnext crystal$$targetcustomnext Franz$$targetcustomnext Honoree" -
Quote:Nice! Thanks for clarification. The fix for that is in the 1600.20091102.3T build, and that will be published to all Live Servers (in North America and Europe) tomorrow morning (Thursday, November 12th).
I'll make sure that the Release Notes for 1600.20091102.3T include Release Notes for both 1600.20091102.1T and 1600.20091102.3T for clarity. -
So, fix for -1 TFs is posponed?

I found HOs extremely useful while slotting these powers:
Vengeance
Mind Link
Radiation Infection -
