Ok let's use your logic, Do you have any proof that those 3 clueless n00bs used exploits? Maybe they paid to get pled by people that use non exploit farm missions Let's not forget the otherside fo the coin, those people that you get that think they know everything! They think they are never wrong, like they are experts on everything having to do with this game, these people are just as annoying on a tf or whatever mish!
The truth is, you have a choice as to who you play with, if the noob index is to high you can always quit the team... when you join a random team you get what you get... To avoid this, form your own team or join an sg and play with them, play with friends if you are low on friends join virtue and I'm sure you can find people to role play being your friend, then play with them...
for the record there are plenty of people that have level 50 toons that have never gotten pled and still have no clue how to play their toon.
it's just something you have to deal with when you play any mmo -

When the AE badges came out people complained that you have to pretty much farm AE mishes to get some of these, so what did the devs do? Made it easier and people still complain as for the solo badge thing... there are more solo badges than team by far
how big of a team do you need to get day job badges?
Although, I would like to see a badges for pling and farming

Ok so this is coming to Boston and we are hearing about this now and pax for saturday is sold out so we cannot get in to attend the panel we can do the meet and greet, will the people attending the meet and greet be able to get stuff like at herocon the costume cards and stuff like that? just wondering because people that went to comic con and herocon did and I know this isn't the same thing as that but this is the only chance people from the east coast have

Ok last night I did this with two people, I brought in a level 8 villain with another level 50 fire/kin. We spawned the mish the settings were
+0 +5 then I Brought the villain in first then the level 50 fire/kin
I gave the star to the level 50 and logged of the Villain and brought my level 50 ill/rad I went around on my level 50 Ill/rad left the team and killed all the bosses then rejoined the team and we both killed all the hordlings took about 4-5 mished to get 100 did the same thing with a level 30 villain for the succibus and hellifrost but changed the settings to +0 +8 and for the most part I let the hellifrost kill most of the mobs by confusing it

Think about this... You traded 100 mil for 200k prestige when in that months time it took you to make the 100 mil you could have easily made the 200k prestige... in fact you could make the exchange better yourself by using sg members... Example: Tell them you will give them an exchange rate for the prestige they ern, so if a member who is on more than you, makes let's say 200k prestige you can offer to double what they make to like 400k Inf... A lot of Big Sg's do this and you don't have to be big to do this just have a few members that play more than a few hours a day it's obvious you have no problem getting Inf so there you go

Have had the same problem and they way I got around it is to log off and log back in, it's a glitch and that seemed to work give it a try and it will save you from having to buy salvage

Also, three global badges are unavailable: The loyalty badge for remaining subscribed from August-November 2009 (If you missed it, it's too late), and the badges that come with the Collector's Editions of CoH and CoV. The latter two are available, if you can find a copy of the appropriate box, but they are no longer in production, so they can't be obtained through the online store, or most (if any) retailers.

The best thing to do is try a few of them and see what comminuty fits you the best, while Freedom and Virtue are the most populated I find Justice to be the best community but it all comes down to what you are looking for, either way I'm sure you will find a home and have fun learning this game... check out other parts of this forum it's very informative!

Gratsapooti Nericus... I have a few days left on my latest DJ then only 3 more... and if there are more DJ's to come with GR then so be it... it will be nice to be able to play my badge hunter again without having to think "playing this toon is losing me DJ time" the good thing is it sort of forced me to play my other toons which has been really fun

Where to start... While there are some base builders that feel they are getting no love... the thing is, the devs have to keep this game fresh and going in the right direction and while it's cool to have a nice base it's really far from the most important thing in this game!
I am a base builder and for me it's a cool way to express being creative no doubt. The issue they released (forgot the number) that allowed us to stack certain items made base contruction so much more fun, well alteast it did for me, I was so sick of the magic box!!
I have seen threads where people want this and that but to be honest, I love the fact you have to use your imagination and be really inventive, which you would lose if you could click and option for exmaple like add a second floor... there have been a few builders that have done things that make me go "nice idea" like Stacker, Turbo Star and a few others.. Stacker's light stairs was very cool Idea, the way things are now, it makes you have to think in order to get what you want which always pays off when you can create something that came from your imagination using the items available I would like to see them add some new items and maybe make it so you are able to work in the door area but who knows we shall see... -
About two nights ago I was about to delete a level 12 toon that just wasn't working out and I had some tickets I had gotten and decided to get some Uncommon salvage and what not so I had 66 tickets left so I did Bronze roll at level 12 and I got Regen Tissue +Regen
I was very surpised because that doesn't really seem like Bronze roll type of reaward sold it for 75mil which worked out well

Well, say what you want about them being free and what not... well they are not really free because you have to be a paying customer for that period of time in order to get them but no matter WHAT they come up with for rewards they will never and I mean EVER beat boxing gloves, I mean those changed the way people play this game!!! Example: Did the STF the first time and failed needless to say frustration set in I was even thinking of doing a server transfer to Freedom!!!! But, I collected my thoughts, went back to the taylor put on the boxing gloves and BAM things began to change!!! Started up another STF and even my fellow teammates knew there was something different... We got by the "easy" AV's and got to the "Big Guy" Went right up to him and said "Yo, the champ is here!" and, well you can guess what happened next... The towers exploded ALL of them at the same time... and Lord recluse was done!!! Thanks Devs, without you guys I'd still be stuck in that STF!!!

While it does suck not getting the name you want... (and it does) what sucks even more is having your name and seeing someone else with it also! I had that happen in another game while the name wasn't exact it still was close enough that people were trying to pm him thinking he was me and the other way around so I bribed the guy to change it I guess it meant more to me than it did to him
I lucked out and got the name I wanted as my global as well as the name on the server I play..
Another thing to take into concideration is people getting your name to mess with you and to be a jerk... "Hey I teamed with Randomguy last night and what a total jerk!" Then the real randomguy comes on and people give him crap for stuff he didn't do or say... besides the confusing aspect
like having 2 people with the same name in broadcast saying stuff you have no idea who is who and who you are talking too or how about a whole sg with all the same name!!!
(although that would be funny)
Side note:It never ceases to amaze me when you get a name you thought would be taken... -
It's always a judgement call and depends what it is you are doing...
Running a TF, Pug team radio/newpaper mishes, farming (yeah I said farming!) As the leader of a team it is up to you to find/pick players that are going to do what is needed and if they don't fill that role then you make the call to keep or dump them! Most of the times when I pick up a random I use "info" to get some idea of what I'm getting... it doesn't alway tell you the whole story... I have seen some people that I have invited bring toons that are not what you think they are ... Example: A guy playing a tank NOT tanking but healing because he got the medic pool powers and wanted to be "different" which is fine, I have no problem with people playing outside of the box... but if i'm looking for a tank to tank then that is what I want! also for me, an auto kick is someone trying to !@#$ up what is going on, trying to get the team killed or just not playing nice with others! I find one of the most important things when running a team is being willing to listen, you never know, you just might get some good advise on doing something a better way... also make it clear from the start what you are doing and looking for so people know what is expected. I also try to help the newer players when I can by giving advise or teaching them something they might not know to help them be a better player... -
When AE first came out I looked at a couple of ways...
1. A great way to be creative and do your own thing...
it still has that aspect
2. A great Farm Pl tool
Not so much but it still can be used for that somewhat you just have to work harder
I know many people think it sucks and it's useless! I don't agree it's still a great way to tell a story "YOUR" story, and you still can make farm arcs but NO you are not going to get a toon to 50 in 4 days and i'm sure there are still people saying good!!! "we don't want noobs getting to 50 fast and having no clue how to play.. yeah whatever... I still see vets that have 50's that have no clue... and for the record I have played more than a few arcs that rock! arcs that people put a lot of time into and have done a great job... in fact I still love the Macvillain arc... still cracks me up!!!
The botton line with AE is, it still has kept the personal aspect.. you can make an arc that is yours something YOU created and other people can partake in... and to me that is still really cool

I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the display cases you get from your vet reward is missing the Hamidon goo and a few of the other cases are missing things as well... I know a lot of people use this display cases in their base and forget about them as did I until a couple of days I decided to move them and I was like... look a clear case the one I found which is the Hamidon goo case had nothing in it...
and then there for a few others empty as well... anyone else seeing this?
