Welcome to the game and the boards. As Mr TPF said, unfortunately the atlantic transfer was removed not so long ago. Also agree with the points about travel powers.....Don't need any now really, because you can get temporary travel powers (by completing safeguard missions successfully) from lvl 5+ in kings Row.

To get a safeguard mission, you have to complete 3 police band missions which you get from one of the 2 detectives in Kings Row (depending on which one you are allocated).

The 2 temp travel powers are raptor pack (superjump) and another one that the name escapes me, that gives a sky raider jetpack (or similar design to the sky raiders anyway.)

The smaller team you have with Positron, the quicker that you will complete it generally...Can do it with 3 people, 1 def/troller (needs to be able to heal thou), 1 tank and 1 scrap/blaster.

I don't remember how long Posi takes, I haven't done it in ages, I was thinking more about the one we did on Friday with Viperfang and Bounty that took us almost 4 hours and we were fast. Anyway if it takes let's say a couple of hours the I have no problem in starting later. On the other hand, not every TF can be ghosted by having a m8 with Invisibility and recall friend like the Cave of Trascendence

Nightmare, is Achoo a natural origin? As cannot see any travel powers in your build. Blinkin will be totally Natural, so not going for a travel power aswell. I started with the Entangled Arrow...and have also taken Glue Arrow...when I get to lvl 6 will take Maneuvers too. Not sure what other powers that I'm going for yet

Checked the date out just now....7pm on thursday suits me down to a tee....Unjust Law lvl 35 (fire/axe Tank) at your service!

Good luck all that are taking part, not had time to level Blinkin up, still only lvl 5. Couldn't face it today anyway after doing Dr Q TF yesterday.....7 hours 10 mins!

The Final 8 to be part of the TF were :-

Nine Claws(Scrapper), Blue Blaze(Tank), Jumping Diddler(Troller), Miss Felina(Tank), Blue Artic(Blaster), Firad(Troller), Dynaheir (Scrapper) and Fosca(Scrapper).

It was a mammoth 24 missions long, which was achieved in 7 hrs 10 minutes. We were going to split it up over a couple of days, but Fosca had the Reformed badge task to do today....so that was unachieveable....7 of us went on and got the Shiny Badge. Apologies to Blue Blaze who left early thinking we would reschedule. Sorry about that BB, tried to get this done, but not possible (see above).

Most of the patrol missions took about 10 mins each. The base missions generally took about 20-30 minutes each. This information is in case anyone else decides to do this.

I personally earnt about 1.7m Influence and 25k Prestige....Others may have earnt more Influence but most of us were 50's so only Firad actually earnt XP, and he levelled a couple of times in the process. Grats to all for sticking it out, definately a worse TF to do than Positron, based on the time taken to do it....quite laborious really!

I have a lot of my own heroes in my own SG now...and would love to be in a coalition with the Men in Tights and The Supernation (have to speak to Steve about that one thou)....so when you are online as Rob Hood next, I will get Nine Claws to call you, so we can do the necessary paperwork.....

The global channel could be called Rob the Rich, Give to the Poor?

And if (as someone else mentioned) that keeping foes to beat them up cheaply for badges is wrong...then there are lots of farmers out there, that are breaking the moral fibre of the game aswell.

Still think that detaining "Contaminated" specifically as my OP suggests is fine...otherwise my Main will never get the Isolator badge.

And another thing GG, every police force in the world detains and interrogates it's prisoners (even if they are only detained for a few hours, they are still prisoners by definition). Ok, I agree that beating on defenceless foes in the base may be deemed as torture...but I could easily say that I'm interrogating them for another reason...

Good Luck on your TF guys...One of the more enjoyable TF's IMO. Not going to be online tomorrow evening, which is a shame as would help you take down Babbage...Like kicking Large clockwork Butt!

[/ QUOTE ]Was concerned as only 1 def and 1 troller, but then again we have 2 scraps, 1 tank and 3 kheldians...so the raiders will be defeated so quickly that we won't have time to be defeated ourselves (in theory anyway). Plus the def+troller are both kins....so no bother!

Finally got the Isolator badge this morning, prior to work...almost at level 3 now too....so will be trying to catch you up asap....seeing as Rob Hood is already at lvl 9.
