Ok, I managed to lvl up Viperfang so no problem for tonight.

My greatest scrapper moment has to be at Nightmarer lvl 37 when doing a CoT mish in Cot Temple map, we entered a room with some kind of pond and CoT coming to us from centre and all 4 corners. The blaster, the troller and the other scrapper went down pretty quickly because we were swarmed, luckily I had Evasion well slotted so I started taking them down one by one until room was clear of Earth Torn Casters, Behemoths Overlords, Nerva Demons and a couple Agony Mages. It was great when one of my temmates used his wakie and said: "man, they were your beetches"

Bear in mind that, although the powersets complement each other very well making almost any build good, it's a late development build. You may choose Dodge and Agile earlier on. You also may welect Hover and Fly instead of Leaping pool, I think Hover offers better protection against AoE than Combat Jumping (not sure). Hasten and SS may also be a good choice instead of Leaping

Well seductress, you really did 2 great scrappers, MA/INV is the most accurate scrapper that can be created and DM/SR the hardest one to hit. After my DM/SR I'm doing a Katana/Inv and I find it's great fun. I am planning a BS/DA but I think I need to know more before going DA.
I would suggest you definitely the Katana/Invulnerability if you want to try a new scrapper.

I'm trying to get back to the original intention of the post. This story matches about 99% of my own start in CoH, and I say 99% because I find Hover helpful (although I also had to respec Acrobatics from my SR scrapper). I think it is a good idea to do posts like this, they help make the start of the game easier. I would just add that when you ask for advice in a build, people can tell you either their own experience in a similar (or same) build or either what the build is supposed to deliver as per maths, however, bear in mind that the greatest build may be useless if it does not fit someone's playstyle and on the other hand, you may be able to turn a build that seems weak on paper into a great scrapper.-

Main problem in SR is that you don't get good AoE protection until lvl 35 with evasion and you start fighting powerful AoE foes at early 30 lvls. You get a certain protection with Lucky, but it's just a passive and a little bit more if you also use hover. It's a fine set once you get Evasion properly slotted and completed with additional pool defence such as hover and/or combat jumoing and/or weave.-

The idea is that, since creating MA content is account-wide (anything you write can be "published from" any character on your account), that the tickets generated from other people go into a pool. You can then claim tickets out of that pool on any character on your account.

HOWEVER, when you PLAY Mission Architect content, tickets you earn are exactly like Merits. They are earned ON that character, and can not be traded.

Merits already work like this, and there is no correlation to the account-based publishing for Merits to "work the same way" for.

Now if you are simply asking that Merits be a tradable resource, or even trade-within-account, I am sorry, but that's not going to happen. Characters of different levels earn Merits at different rates. Merits are supposed to streamline the reward process for that character, and that's not going to be changing any time soon.

So you're basically saying that people with two (or more) accounts or SG teams who split writing story arcs covering levels from 1 to 50 and levelling their chars using their own created content from 1 to 50 can farm tickets like there's no tomorrow globally?

Wouldn't it had been easier to just allow recipe drops in MA or are you opening a huge door to ticket farming just to ensure the MA is a huge success?

Having said that, dunno if tickets count EXACTLY as merits at the time of recipe redeeming, but if it moves people to having two or more accounts, I guess the MA has accomplished its objective...
