So, is the BS/DA team idea still on?
Amazing how quickly a few unrelated comments can make a cool idea drift into nothngness. Too bad for me, I would really like to join a BS/DA team.-

I am afraid I don't have much experience in PvP, but I would go for katana which deals far more dmg than claws. BS delivers even more dmg than katana, but it's longer recharge times for attacks and that may be crucial in PvP.
Regarding the secondary powerset, for PvP I would go for /Inv instead of /DA for endurance reasons. My advice would be you to create a Katana/Inv for PvP in Sirens, but if you want to do /DA then I would recomend you BS/DA. I saw once a BS/DA in action and the guy with Head Splitter and Build Up delivered over 1000 dmg on a single blow to Tyrant in the Rescue Statesman mish, so I guess that kind of damage must be helpful on PvP. -

I am trying to work seriously on the DeBuff side of a scrapper hence I am working on a few DM/ builds. Although I have searched old topics as far as I could due to time issues (and my boss jerking around), I would like to know a few things:
1.- Powers such as Touch of Fear, Siphon Life or Shadow Punch slotted with 2 Acc SO's and 3 ToHitDebuff SO's without Focused Accuracy or Tactics, would they Debuff an EB or an AV on hitting him?
2.- If not, would they debuff the EB or AV with Focused Accuracy 3 ToHitBuff SO's slotted on?
3.- Would they DeBuff the EB/AV with Tactics 3 ToHitBuff SO's and no Focused Accuracy?
4.- If I am running both Focused Accuracy 3 ToHitBuff slotted and Tactics 3 ToHit Buff slotted, can I save 1 Acc slot in the debuffing attacks and Still Debuff the AV/EB or in order to do that I would need Soul Drain on besides FA and tactics? (I am assuming here that with Tactics, 2Acc SO's on the attack, 3Debuff SO's on the attack and Focused Accuracy, the EB/AB HAS to be debuffed, otherwise, the best a DM scrapper can do when fighting EB/AV's is to cheer up his teammates)
I would like to know this in order to maximize slots and powers and plan the builds carefully, since I was planning to try tactics for it's fear protection and spice it up with assault to maxmimize dmg on the rest of DM attacks combined with Soul Drain, but unless I can redistribute slots and try to fit Focused Accuracy on top of all that. I guess if I go for DM/Inv the issue towards a single EB/AV will be pretty much the same since Invinicbilty only buffs significantly in mobs and not against a single powerful enemy.-

Actually I am going to take your advice seriously, once I have the toon I'm working on now from nasty lvl 41 to great lvl 42, I'll put him in a rest and work with other alts until issue 9 comes on server. I will try to get my new DM/DA scrapper as far as I can on I9 test server since I feel /DA and /SR may have the biggest variations in gameplay after the Invention System.

Wait a sec, that is extremely interesting to hear. The build was originally designed to combine Cloak of Fear with Invoke Panic, but so far it seems the Presence Pool is hurting the build because of the 2 previous powers to get access to Invoke Panic (if not because of these 2 powers I could get Death Shroud and Cloak of Fear). The most interesting thing is your comment about not having any endurance issues, could you please post your build or let me know how do you slot to avoid end issues?

I was also thinking about it while re doing the build properly, I decided to go for shadow punch to get a little extra damage but as I usueally respce my toons at lvl 37, I may lose it for ToF.-

My recent experience with an Inv scrapper is with a Katana/Inv and I grew so fond of the Inv poweset that now I have a MA/Inv lvl 8. I personally feel that the passives may be the difference between a regular build and a great build. Besides, I took Tough in my Katana/Inv and I noticed a big difference with tough 4 slotted, it was worth to have a useless power like boxing for a sword wielder in order to get tough, in your case having barehand attacks you can do better use of boxing or kick, therefore I would advise you to it. Attackwise, bear in mind that with your Invinicbility 6 slotted (3defbuff - 3tohitbuff) plus focused accuracy 6 slotted (3endrdx - 3tohitbuff) plus the 10% accuracy bonus of MA, you can create the most accurate scrapper in game (can also complement with Leadership pool) so my advise would be to go for full Inv pool since that will at the same time boost your attacks with accuracy. On weave, I'm not that fond of it, I would take hasten instead but at high levels.

Hey, we have the Squishy Squad recently founded in Union, 3 Kheldians (2 WS 1 PB) newly created while our 50 alts are in Defiant (yes, it means no inf for enhcs). It's real fun and the other day we had our first full team faceplant, what a moment to remember.

I see it's also a build worth trying. Personally I feel that recharge may be more needed than 2 endrdx in attacks, but I am also new to claws so I can be wrong. On the other hand, medicine pool is perfectly logical and helpful, the reason why I was going for additional defence is because my lvl 50 DM/SR scrapper has the SR pool slotted as shown on my proposed Claws/SR with the only addition of 1 DefBuff in Combat Jumping and another one in Hover. I am very happy with the build since is a hard to kill scrapper, however, when fighting Infernal, he makes my scrapper bite the dust if not in Elude with a single blow, this is why I thought of adding additional defence (slotting CJ and Weave) plus some dmg mitigation (Tough).
Anyway I already copied your build since I also like it. As mentioned before, it's a matter of trying things, an excellent build on paper may be useless if doesn't fit a particular playstyle and vice versa.- -

This is the build I had in mind, I maybe use 1 respec for slot redistribution. If no endurance problems, then I may skip conserve power and choose Quickness instead. Boxing is slotted for disorienting, it will help the SR for not being hit although I'd rather have an AoE disorient or ToHitDebuff
Medicine Pool is helpful, especially Aid Self, however if soloing then I can choose your mob attack timing and rest in between mobs and if teaming with an empath then the use of aid self is reduced to particular situations when the empath is down, however, if required I may respec and use medicine pool instead of fighting pool, which would allow me to choose quickness and conserve power or hasten. Anyway, I will stick to this build and will only respec it if absolutely required.

Bear in mind that a very good build on paper may not be useful for all players if it doesn't fit their playing style, so my advise is to try different things and before doing a respec, try it always on the training server, it's very annoying to get a wrong build in a respec (trust me, I have been there).- -
I personally always slot my SR scrappers with 4 slots on toggles (1 endrdx and 3defbuff) and 3 defbuff in passives.-
I would also skip quickness and shockwave to get the fighting pool, boxing is just needed to get access to tough and weave which will help you survive. Weave gives you additional defence and tough will give you a decent 13-14% dmg mitigation which I always welcome, since the main point in SR is not to be hit, but when you are hit, you take full damaga and it hurts, hurts a lot. The Power pools I recomend are Leaping (Combat jumping if possible with 2 or 3 defbuffs and super jump as your travelling power), fighting (boxing, tough and weave) and fitness (swift, health and of course stamina). I'm currently working on a lvl 16 claws/SR, if you wish I can post the build I had in mind for it.- -
