What is the min level for this TF?
[/ QUOTE ]
45 but the 45s will all need SK slots as the AVs level is fixed
[/ QUOTE ]
Btw, will you do next one with your claws/willpower? I miss saturday noon's TFing -

Sorry if anyone thought I meant him as something bad and repulsive.

Nice touch of class -

Just to point it out, I'm not going for a stalker hunter build..
[/ QUOTE ]
You mean there's more to PvP than being faceplanted by a EM stalker and then trying to return him the favour no matter what?
Mmmmm, this PvP thing suddenly looks interesting -
Good luck with the raid. Can't see why you don't use the tested post I9 method that allows do the raid in 2 and a half hours though, but hey ho, I understand new ideas have to be tested.
Just a suggestion, I think it's rude (or at least not polite) to use the forum for contacting some specific people referred as "the usual suspects". Probably PM's would make less noticeable the "class" differences some people make on this game, it's just a matter of basic politeness. -
Does it have to be on a Friday again?
I don't think I'll make it in time, besides, dark defenders and mass rez don't seem in demand now so no point anyway. -

As far as primary sets go Claws is great as it gives a steady progression of power unlike the sword sets which dramatically improve in the last two tiers. I found Focus to be a lynchpin power for the set, the ranged knockdown effect combined with a hefty amount of damage makes it an "I wish I had" power. Shockwave at 32 is a handy "Alpha breaker" if you time it right, although its knockback effect can get you in trouble with the rest of the team if used without care for patch effects/taunt auras.
[/ QUOTE ]
What Steampunk said. Shockwave also may be tricky on a Claws/DA because of the mentioned KB effect since /DA needs foes around to be fully effective. -
[ QUOTE ]
Again, I'm not sure about anything in the build except that I need stamina and attacks..
I was told evasion isnt needed. Blame Aranos if the build is all wrong
[/ QUOTE ]
I've seen a few SR scrappers who drop evasion for going PvP, my guess is that they do PvP mostly in arena or stalker hunting. If you are stalker hunting, I don't think stalkers have much AoE dmg. If you go for the defense sets as Maelwys suggested, you can make a decent 20ish% AoE defense just with Lucky + set bonuses.
If the +perc figures of Tactics and Focused Acc are the same, perhaps Tactics could be more interesting than FA if you have good +acc bonuses from sets since tactics is far less end consuming than FA and Maneuvers always helps a bit on the defense side.
Kismet +6% acc would help and I also think you should check the serendipity set for your defense secondaries, it has really nice bonuses and it is not expensive.
Not sure if cone attacks count as AoE but for sure, they only accept AoE sets (most of them at least). -
I am afraid I can't make this on a Friday

I'd swap SR with Inv but otherwise agree with the list
[/ QUOTE ]
SR and Inv are pretty close on end consumption tbh, but putting 2xendrdx in toggles should be fine with any of them.
The main end drainer is the primary anyway. -

True Story. (Take that you silly Defenderblastrollertanks...)

You're da man! -
Really sorry I couldn't make it. Glad to see it went well.

That was fun TF, thanks for arranging it Sarg
I still think we should have repeated the 1st mish, didn't quite capture the spirit of what we intended there -
That was fun trial, thanks for arranging it mate

I left a Tf recently (before they started) becoz they were trying to do it in under 2hrs and avoiding 90% of the Xp ... was i impressed was i heck... To lvl u need Xp the more the better.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, now I almost regret I never kicked you out of the Hess TF we did in which you compromised to stay for the whole TF and then tried ghosting it because "you had an STF later and as you were 49, there was nothing for you in that TF" although we repeatedly asked you to stay in the group plus it was a TF you asked for in forums and I agreed to arrange it for you. So it seems XP is good for you but you couldn't care less if your team mates also like it or simply want to enjoy a TF team without any rush.
Gah, now I can almost picture J giggling and saying "Night, the kick button is there for a reason"
Edit: Sorry Donna but I needed to let it out. I'll be glad to team with you anytime, I have a lvl 35 troller in Union that has been itching to team for some time. -
Well, seems it's not happening anyway, I'm the only one logged
-
If I finish the respec trial with Nine Claws on time to join (which we should), I'll send you a tell since I need it on Magnus Ridolph, lvl 31 DM/DA scrapper.
-
Dual cutlass/DA for a dark pirate scrapper Capt. Barbosa wannabee?
Geoffrey Rush FTW!! -
Count me in with Agent Magnum, lvl 35 earth/rad controller. I can start the TF with that toon if you need me to.

its not annoying its damn right rude ... best thing to do is spam invite them til they respond... then say smt along the lines of
[/ QUOTE ]
Although I understand how frustrating it is (trust me, I do), I think you are overreacting a bit. If they are rude, no need to become as rude as them.
Something worse than not having a reply to a polite tell would be get an invitation to a team and 15 seconds later, the person who invited you and a couple of other players say "sorry guys, a mate of mine has offered me a space in another team" and such thing happens, sometimes even without the "sorry guys" bit.
Edit: Sorry to have drifted off-topic Donna, I am usually farming radio mishes in PI with a 50 but I also have toons almost any lvl in both Union and Defiant, send me a tell sometime to team and see what we can do on the fine art of kicking butt -
I don't doubt what you say Shannon, honsetly, but CoF is sooooo cool
I guess it's down to concept sometimes as well as playstyle, in my case, I am way too forgetful to toggle/untoggle so I guess Death Shroud will complement better my claws/DA to compensate that bit of "ooooomph" that claws lack and Cloak of Fear will complement better my DM/DA for concept and stacking -acc.
In my humble opinion, both DM and DA are like a swiss knife and allow scrappers do many interesting things with almost any combination either between them or with other scrapper primaries/secondaries. -
[ QUOTE ]
At least you are getting replies. One thing that annoys me is being ignored.
I just try to not let it get to me and stay polite. I try to always give full information too. Always put my lvl and AT.
I am mostly playin 50s up till i11 and if you cant find anyone and i am online give me a shout. I always like teaming and have no problem ex'in or sk'in.

Agree with Larac too, an active SG makes such a difference.

Isn't it annoying when same players who have a big "Send a tell first" on their search comment won't bother even replying to a polite tell? -

CoF is NOT rubbish if you take the time to slot it right
[/ QUOTE ]
Lol, of course it's not rubbish, I love CoF, pity it drains all that end, but it's great power and although the debuff is low, every bit helps.
Mmm I realize now I missed for some reason half of the posts, I couldn't see them earlier but I can see the whole thread now, weird, I missed a full page of posts that I swear they were not there when I made my last two posts. -
As usual, Maelwys has a very good point here. The SR bit is arguable because it is valid only when teaming with a FF (or sonic) which is not always the case by a long way (well, at least not my case to be fair).
Anyway, we seem to agree that ALL scrapper secondaries have endured substantial variations after I9, some of them to more degree than others (not getting into which ones) and that makes the excellent work of Arcana not to carry same weight it had before I9.
In fact, I am not sure if after I9 a comparison like that can be done anymore without taking primaries into equation, since now they can be "tailored" to a certain extent to the player preferences and lots of the set effects are derived from the primary slotting.
I still think SR surpasses DA in terms if survivability after I9 and in particular situations even regen, but of course, that is my impression and I've known to be wrong once or twice.
