    Game Over

    [ QUOTE ]
I made a few posts for the first time today so thought I’d Clarify, I'm back and I missed j00 all!! WOOT!

Hamidon and I have unfinished business, keep an eye out…

Yes Tabula Rasa was pants and I can't believe I managed to stay away for that long!!! I was going the gym and getting early nights, reading books and papers, watching the news along with eating properly with out drinking 8+ coffees a day. All that wasn't for me and now I'm back to my slobbish ways, YOU GOTTA LOVE IT GUYS AND GALS!!!!

    CoH FTW!

PS. Thank you very much for all the replies, it's nice to know you're missed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Man, you lasted far much longer away of the game than my last attempt to quit smoking.

    Hami raid

Actually ppl should get used to the idea that arranging a Hami Raid is no simple task and takes lots of idle time before starting while sorting out teams and stuff, so all the [censored] conversation in broadcast, specially the "Let's go get him now!" and the "I am leaving unless we start now" don't help the Raid Leader, specially if it's a case like today's where somebody had to lead the raid after the person who arranged it quit or disappeared or dc'd or whatever hapeened to him/her.

The raid can be done in less than 3 hrs if people are willing to collaborate, use the proven system that works and take it seriously as Xanthus proved on Defiant. If people show up and expect Hamidon to be taken down in 10 minutes, then they better stick to the pseudo-Hami on LGTF.

Searching new tactics is good and anything that helps making the Raid faster and easier is great, but so far the system with best results is the one Xanthus used on the I9 Defiant Raid.

On the other hand, if not enough people show up before starting to spawn Hamidon, better call off the raid, otherwise is a mess as per last Hami attempts today and in the past weeks.
  4. I've been checking WP on the provisional figures from Mid's Hero Designer, you can get decent defense figures to cover the holes in resistance, the major WP hole is toxic damage, so I guess Spines Stalkers and Thorn Dominators should give any WP toon a hard time.-
  5. I can join with a 32 scrapper if you guys need toons on the high end.
  6. w00t!

Sorry about that , I thought he didn't ding on STF

    Gtz Cynic!

Gah, now I need 2 more 50's to catch up
  7. No worries mate.

Great TF, we'll polish it a bit and that badge will be ours
  8. Ask Illusion Master for advice. He also wrote a guide for illusion trollers and he is an expert in that field. Perhaps he'll also help you with the donations.
  9. Pity, my rad/sonic is lvl 18 and he needs that TF but I can't do it at that time on a weekday
    GL with it mate

    Better or not?

Tbh I feel Dual Blades is quite a different set from Katana although both have blades involved. On the weapon customization side, it's just for looks, but the powers from Dual Blades are different from Katana plus they involve combos. If Dual Blades is better than Katana or not it is just a matter of opinion.
I'd start a Katana scrapper and if you enjoy it keep going, if not, then wait for dual blades.Enjoying or not enjoying your katana scrapper doesn't mean you can or cannot enjoy a dual blades one, as I said they are different sets.
Bear also in mind that secondaries can also make a big difference, you might love a Katana/DA and hate a Katana/SR for example.

i got one more qeustion asoult and tactics are the worth it or not?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I have assault / tactics / vengeance on my D3 defender and I am quite happy with it. Coincidentally, I also rolled a Dark/Psi defender on Saturday and I am planning to go for leadership again, it's not only helpful for PvP, also at lvl 50 if you enjoy doing STF, Tactics and Vengeance are great.
  12. 20:00 might be a bit late for me but I'll try to be there

    DM/SR help

Mmmm, a while ago I posted a few different builds for DM/SR scrappers maximizing the defense side, you can take a look at them in this link .
None of them had Medicine pool since I never felt I needed it on any of my DM/SR scrappers managing ok with just Siphon Life, but lots of people find Aid Self extremely helpful so you may want to squeeze it somewhere.-
You can do more things to any of these builds and squeeze even more defense (my current build is 50% melee and 53% ranged/AoE), I hope they may be helpful for you.-
  16. [ QUOTE ]
will have 45% defense to melee, range and aoe without even popping elude

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Only 45%?
Now SR's can be easily taken to 50% melee and 53% ranged/AoE
  17. [ QUOTE ]
Thanks for the advise everyone, I decided on a Kat/Regen in the end,

Thats what makes teamspeak so helpful.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Teamspeak work only when all participants can understand what is spoken. As I've said, that was the main reason why Xanthus' try failed.

Please don't believe for a minute that everyone is from UK and their ears are "trained" to all types of pronunciations.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually the Union raid he lead didn't really work because no-one could be bothered to turn up.

The Defiant one with TeamSpeak went smoothly.

    [/ QUOTE ]

True, I was also concerned about understanding on the Defiant raid but it was no problem. Pity i didn't have any toons in range when he arranged teh Union one, the one on Defiant was done in two and a half hours.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
If you are not getting aid self on a /sr... just don't roll it imo (unless you plan to team much with an empath or bubbler that is). Regen makes things so easy that it's boring after IO's tho

    [/ QUOTE ]

I never understood why. Any well built SR scrapper can do fine without Aid Self for PvE.

To OP, I'd go for SR any day over regen because SR is real fun to play. Medicine pool or not is really up to your playstile, I guess you can try without it and respec if you feel it's required.-
  21. [ QUOTE ]
Yeah there's more to it! You can get faceplanted by an MA stalker or pwned to death by an ice/, sonic/, /rad, /cold or /thermal corr!!!
