  1. Gah, sorry for the no show, I started a book in the afternoon and next time I looked at the clock it was midnight

    Hope everything went well
  2. Nightmarer

    Help! ???/SR :D

    [ QUOTE ]
Dark melee sounds good. And i am on about solo, sometimes i cant be bothered to find teams and with solo i can go at my own pace. DM still good for solo?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yep, don't expect the high dmg outbursts of a BS but it's good steady negative damage with the -tohit debuf mentioned on each attack plus a mez, a self buff, a mini heal and endurance replenishment. DM is great scrapper primary and DM/SR is amazing.
  3. WarclaW needs this TF for accolade and he's been trying to join it for a few weeks now so please give him my spot and I'll join if there's a no show.
  4. I can join tonight from 19:30 pm Spanish time. Either Freak or Rikti will do for me, I'm bringing a scrapper anyway

    Not sure about tomorrow though.-
  5. That was nice and fast trial, thx for team all who showed up
  6. I guess there's a way to overcome every single AT in PvP. Anyway, I don't think I was that wrong pointing that SR is good for both PvE and PvP and WP is more advisable for PvE as general advice. If the question had been more specific such as "please define which set goes better for Arena, Duels, Zone and team PvP" then I could have been more specific or simply had said nothing.
  7. Ideally 8:00 - 08:30 GMT would be great if possible
  8. Please count me in with some scrapper.

Lo he traducido por si hay alguien de Burgos
  9. I'd love to join if a couple hours earlier, I'm on GMT+1 and 10:00 GMT is too late for me I am afraid.
Anyway, if it's possible to make it earlier, count me in with Magnus Ridolph, lvl 37 DM/DA scrapper.

SR for both PvP and PvE and WP for PvE. Claws does great in PvE, huge DPS, great acc and dmg boost with Follow Up, low end consumption and great recharge, no idea about in in PvP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Don't ever listen to Night, he is IM's cousing
Claws is a no no in PvP. Among SR and WP, I'd go SR for duels and zones, and WP for team pvp

    [/ QUOTE ]

Shush you, we all know IM's is your original account

Now seriously, what did I say that was not true in my post?

    Please enlighten us
  11. Thanks all for great TF. Mmm I had a great recipe, I wonder if I should send a petition or bug report or something
  12. Coolest, please count me in with Magnus Ridolph, lvl 37 DM/DA scrapper or with Radiant Howler, lvl 32 rad/Sonic defender, whatever suits best for the team
  13. SR for both PvP and PvE and WP for PvE. Claws does great in PvE, huge DPS, great acc and dmg boost with Follow Up, low end consumption and great recharge, no idea about in in PvP.

And heya Steampunk, long time no see ya posting
  14. [ QUOTE ]
Sry for posting in the wrong place but here it goes i have a lvl 50 Em/FA brute i like to be the Dmg Dealer on a team i also dont like tanking big mobs hence i dont have any taunt auras on my brute but im open to it on a tanker

    [/ QUOTE ]

If what you want is to deal damge in melee, then roll a scrapper, Broad Sword for huge single dmg outburst, Claws for best DPS or spines for great AoE damage.
If you don't want taunting auras then I guess Invulnerability, Willpower and Dark Armor are out of the question (mmm although Dark Armor is not proper taunting aura but hey ho). Personally I'd go for a Dark Melee/Super Reflexes scrapper for good steady single target negative damage (less resisted ingame iirc) plus SR awesomeness with no taunting auras. Other fun options without taunting auras are Claws/SR, BS/Regen or Spines/Regen. If this time you want to give a go for scrapper aggro madness, I'd go Spines/WP, awesome.

If you want to be a damage dealer on the "glass cannon" side of things, then roll a blaster, all of them deal damage varying from great to good, but there are other players that can give you much better advice on blasters than me.
  15. I guess there's a lot in between now and Champions Online, I need to see what happens with CoX plus Age of Conan...

    All in due time
  16. Count me in with a dark/dark defender of course with Howling Twilight and a bind to target Oil Slick
  17. I'll be there if the weather allows it and the authority does not forbid it
  18. That's probably the best BS/SR build I've seen, that's going to be the heck of a scrapper man, looking forward teaming with him.
  19. For what I see on this build, your damage outburst is not going to compensate your low defence and lack of self heal. If you don't want to load your SR withs sets to boost defence and/or regeneration and/or recovery, you definitely (even if you use the mentioned sets I should say) self Healing (Aid Self).

I'd also personally ditch Recall Friend, Slash, Hurdle, Hasten and Super Speed and go for CJ/SJ for travel power plus Medicine Pool and Focused Accuracy if your endurance can afford it. Still, you can do many improvements to your scrapper wth the right sets, which are always helpful to plan ahead so you know what are you aiming for.

As has been mentioned before, def debuff enhancements are a waste in Broad Sword, if you are going for regular IO's or SO's, you'll be far better with the standard 1xAcc / 1xRchg / 1xednrdx / 3xdmg

...the combo Cloak of Fear/Death Shroud. Some people say these two nullify each other, some say the opposite, so I guess I'll give it a go and see how it goes...

    [/ QUOTE ]

    [/ QUOTE ]

thank you for your wonderful input there

    [/ QUOTE ]

Pwipski posted that because it is something we have been discussing many times while teaming in game and I trust his advice for both /DA scrappers and women, hence why I want to give it a go on my Claws/DA (although not on my DM/DA for concept reasons)

regarding your build, although Shannon's idea of tweaking the existing build slightly is great, it is probably a bit tougher on /DA scrappers or fire tanks because now both have the chance to skip Acrobatics and even Leaping Pool (although CJ rocks) and that may mean significant changes on builds, hence why I decided to post my build instead of trying to tweak yours, trying to give you more ideas or another perspective.

    claws/da help

Ok, this is what i would like to do on my Claws/DA, the idea is to have him based in resistance and try boost the DPS with Assault, Death Shroud and samage bonuses. As Is aid, still at lvl 30 and not sure I'll go for the combo Cloak of Fear/Death Shroud. Some people say these two nullify each other, some say the opposite, so I guess I'll give it a go and see how it goes:
