Ok, let me try put this together on a coherent way. I was earlier on discussing with a mate about Focused Accuracy, I always thought it was a must for any scrapper, but radically changed my mind (we're talking pure PvE here) since inventions came out.
Basically I have respecced out Focused Accuracy from all my lvl 50 scrappers and I don't miss it at all for PvE, of course, any other scrapper with Muntions or Dark Mastery could have told me that months ago (what a Sherlock I am).

Anyway, thing is, in my opinion, with the available accuracy bonuses from sets, plus the set slotting itself which favours accuracy (any melee set enhances over 60% accuracy while on SO's usual slotting we were happy with 33% or 66% if 2 acc SO's) seems to do fine for PvE. My mate, who knows this game far better than me and has been playing CoX forever, disagrees with me and maintains that Focused Accuracy is needed for PvE.

I know ToHitBuff IS NOT Accuracy buff, and I am perfectly aware that Focused Accuracy IS a great power choice, but I'd like to see some opinions regarding this subject.

Do you feel Focused Accuracy is a must for PvE nowadays or do you think it can be compensated without major problem with set slotting / set bonuses?

Thing is, while a regen is active for his own survivability, he is not bashing foes or doing much else, hence usually outclassed by other scrappers when dealing damage.
Scrappers should be imo active all the time, checking on squishies that might have aggro, killing the boss, killing the foes that are frying the team with ranged attacks... heck, even trying to contain the other mob aggroed by mistake insetad of choosing which heal is available now and which one will be next one to use, the set may grant them being alive at the end of each and every fight, but any skilled scrapper can do that with any other secondary while being far more helpful for the team.

Regens on PvE are not even scrappers, just the ultimate selfish empaths.

Sorry to hear that ppl. What worked for us is, anytime more than one AV shows up just run, lock yourselves inside Hospital and wait for them to reset.
Dunno if this is what you were doing, but certainly worked for us.-

Of course you can get 8 lvls in 3 nights, you can even roll a new toon today and have him/her by lvl 15 on time for the competition. Just make sure your toon is on the right server since as per what I have seen on your post on the New Players section, I think you are on Defiant.

As I mentioned yesterday Nine, I've gor a lvl 50 earth/rad troller but I don't trust at all not to die during a MoSTF run. Problem you may have is that the stone tank will also need a kin to perma taunt Ghost Widow.

If you don't find anyone else give me a shout.

Sorry I forgot to mention toon is currently at lvl 22.

I'm easy either way, next week I'll try to get my DM/DA to 50 so the SG team will be a nice break, but no problem to give it a rest until Cap's team wins the Omega TF competition.
