  1. I see I am gonna have to do things the hard way

    BackAlleyBrawler = 75
    pohsyb = 61
    TheOcho = 51
    The Television = 20
    War Witch = 44

    Babs -1
    WW +1
  2. I see people voting more than once and so to save me coming back

    War Witch = 100
  3. I think whatever you slot it with should be determined by the rest of the build. I personally doubt I will have a use for the power on my Inv/SS that outweighs the utility the powers I already have offer.
  4. I don't think its worth planning a build until it comes out and when Mids is properly updated but on the basis of simply reading what you have done, I think its an excessive amount of influence spent.
  5. I don't think up dream teams. I basically think that if you can't devise a way of achieving anything with any team then you are still learning.

    Then I think that team work is essential and if players can't get things right despite trying then, they may want to change their slots a bit better, or adapt the build to have the power they skipped, that allows for better flexibility, with other team dynamics.

    You can get things done more than one way but some people simply stick to the one method like glue. Why I don't know.

    I certainly don't like to value people over what they chose at the powerset selection screen.

  8. I do not get the point of 2 Reactive Armours for a res immob bonus of 1.1%. I would sooner have straight forward Res SOs. You resist immobs anyway and by slotting RA's you are lowering your resistance for cowdung bonuses. It helps to read every slot, not be gooey eyed about bonuses for the sake of bonuses and make everything count without having too much of a good thing anywhere.

    For an exempable build, having one rechg in Active Defense is going to be painful prior to 35 when you get haste, plus later double stacking some is a good thing. You could atleast have it perma'd. Being able to hurdle is meaningless when you are held.

    I think it's far from finished and needs a major overhaul. If you're the one reading every slot, trying out alternatives, finding your way around Mids looking at power graphs, advanced totals and data view then it'll help you when it comes to doing all your builds in future.

    If you ask me that combo is simply not really ideal for beginners. That's it. Invuln might be your best bet.

    14 50's

    I have every 9 tier powerset in game, some quadruplicated, on G knows how many toons but only a 6th of them I would say are lvl 50.

    I learned enough, enough to answer "any" when people ask "what toon shall I bring?"
  12. AE challenge missions are probably power set biased. Some people may mistake choosing options at the power set select screen as skill. I think these things could be worth doing with your best character then working to it with your weakest. From seeing it before you know what is coming and that might make up for the fact that powerset wise your at odds.
  13. Once again I took it and played for a mo, this time gave you some +def, +res, better rechg/time but only lost you some percentage points which was actually half a hitpoint in regen per sec....atleast that is all I think I done

  16. I don't do total revamps of what someone has done. I sooner look at what people do and trust they are meeting their intentions well and do little changes that I feel may be worth it. Some of it is so subtle that unless you read the enhancement you may not see that I changed a dam/rechg to a acc/dam, but anyway I felt that it was lacking in accuracy when it came to attacks and some slots could be moved to have a better effect on the build ie rather than have a def/end in combat jump which is 0,07eps put it in heightened senses which was .21 eps, a def in weave became def/end leaving you still softcapped to S/L.

    With FF +Rechg you may have to be aware that it suppresses, so that you can't stack it and benefit too often, I think for use out of it you will have to use fault less often than the rechg allows, perhaps once every 15secs. Being difficult in a way I found another slot for hasten thinking you don't have seriously long rechg powers which'll benefit.

    Yes you have lost some regen iirc but it is better to hit things and with the long recharge harder attacks, more often.

    I took the sleep/range out of salt crystals for a slot elsewhere as I couldn't see it mattering.

    Some other light changes as well:

    Making A Tanker

    I have a reason for making this thread, it's because I am interested why people make their tankers and would hope that some people would be interested in talking about themselves.

    So if you have a Tanker, then what powersets combos do you have and why? Why the concept and what type of intentions?

    Also;

    Is there anything you feel that is too hard to accomplish with it that you would like to?

    Is there anything that you find that you can't do with it or any part of the game content that you never seem to be asked to be main tank for? (I certainly think that if X type of tanker never gets asked for Y TF then how the hell are they supposed to learn to conquer it?)

    Me briefly, I make tankers because they symbolize the best type of hero out there (read sig) but then even by being a Master of Distraction as Tankers are you can save people. I tend to go Dark/Dark, Stone/Stone, Ice/Ice, Fire/Fire for straight out obvious a combination and for the not so obvious I went WP/DB or Inv/SS, Shield/Mace, that's not all but they are probably my main ones. Each one should not only test me differently but test teams differently too as when it comes to the various content I will have my limits to get around. I like walls to climb over so to speak and anything seemingly impossible is simply another wall. I would write more but I have got to go to work in 15 mins XD (nights).
  18. Start with whatever looks good.

    Nah something natural and Techy, possibly electrical.

    Dark or Elec are for me, the 2 likely.

    Elec: Lightning Bolt, Ball Lightning, Electric Fence, Tesla Cage. (Like Pyre cept Elec)

    Dark: Gloom, Nightfall, Tar Patch, Dark Pit. (Like Earth cept Dark)

    Well forget tanking for Scrappers, they're off the list, any saves by a Brute or Tank should be either out of charity, a mistake or a just so happen. I've been kicked as a Scrapper not waiting for a Brute running into an 8 man teams worth so I wouldn't be one of them expecting you to tank. My scrappers have to be fearless.

  22. I don't care if someones Brute plays more like a Tanker or like a Scrapper. If its scared of a few Cimemorans then I am dismayed, Brutes should be fearless.
  23. In short there are more ways to skin a cat. A good player will find things out for themselves, a decent player will allow a good player time to do that.

    Helping people with certain things the general A to B stuff is fine, but to help people with the B to C stuff is not actually helping them at all. It is robbing someone of the chance to find things out for themselves.

    I as a Super Reflex Scrapper would do things differently to CMA's method. That method is similar to what I could do as an Invuln but with this and that tagged on to make up for the differences. Its not the only way, end of.

  25. Aim to spike damage a target that is the pain of the enemy group, call target so you don't share it, wait for team to start then you strike (this way you don't end up tanking mobs).

    Oh and you can start AS just before being hidden should you see an opportunity.
