    All depends on your power sets and how you set them up.

    As for my Super Permadom 3 being impractical......far from it. But to each their own.
  2. Subjective: so far I've not gotten any negative powers from this, and the once I have gotten appear to be functioning as they should. Also as Back Blast has stated if you do get a recharge bug, using walk can stack these.
  3. Subjective:

    Show off is a bit faster then it should be.

    Love the costume transformation emotes, the Energy Morph is definitely the Terminator timewarp; nice touch! Dimension Shift I can see using for a few characters.
  4. Only effect I want to know is the power increase a Dom can get from going Incarnate.

    If your party is strong enough you can out pace the heals from the greens.

    The massive damage that Dechs refers to is likely the Hamidon damage itself. Pop EOE and let the tank/brutes take the aggro while everyone pounds hami down. Hami goes down and takes the goo with it leaving only the greens.
  6. I should be available for this barring last minute complications. Either as a blaster or dominator.

    Nice job, took us about an hour and 10 minutes or so tonight but that's ok since it was a Mo win.

    (To be precise, it probably does crash, but Domination keeps the Domination bar full. Thus, as long as you are in Domination during the crash, it drops to 0 then refills instantly. This is probably not even noticable)
    If you recharge dom before the crash the bar really won't even budge. Dom will discharge again and you just keep right on dominating.

    This. It is hero-villain specific.

    Any hot spots in the Vanguard base were long since fixed. You can log out in their hosp and only get progress for the hospital DJ, not Hospital DJ plus vanguard DJ.

    Have them petition it but also recheck their badge lists and make sure it didn't "Stealth appear". Happens sometimes.

    Thanks! Been noticing the pets of late doing a bit too much LEEEEROY Jenkins.
  14. The HP bonus issue has been around for a long time and the badges were all recently lowered as part of the "Great Badge Change" a couple of issues back.

    I'd rather see the extra HP issue resolved then another badge adjustment.

    So these totals of yours are IO set plus hasten, correct?

    123 (assuming Nericus is right) is the amount of global recharge you need for Permadom without Hasten. At that level of global recharge you've got Perma-Hasten anyway but it's nice because you can go afk with Dom on auto and it won't drop.

    70% recharge and 6 slotted Hasten is the bare minimum, but you'd be much better off 3 slotting Hasten and aiming for 75-80%. The last 3 slots in Hasten are of really, really little value so you'd get more Permadom breathing room with more global recharge, (which will also help the recharge on Hasten).
    Those 3 extra in hasten shave a few more seconds off the recharge of hasten. If u can manage it with 3 recharge, that's fine.

    And yes, 123% is right. Though 125% can be a bit better.

    In other words, the answer isn't 123 - 70 since the 70 from Hasten isn't always applied.

    Non-perma-Hasten + X% global recharge = PemaDom. How much is X?

    70% recharge from IO plus 6 slot hasten is the beginning of Permadom.

    I'm still trying to get the 5th Malaise's Illusions for my Seeds, 2 more Posi's for Dark Obliteration, and 3 more Expedient Reinforcements (once for the Fly Trap and one for the Seer, which would be slotted come 48.) Those just are not available at any price right now.

    So, did I make it, or am I still lacking in the recharge department for permadom solo? (I know I get real close on teams with SB or AM, and have had it stacked 2 to 3 times a few times).

    Also, what is needed for perma Hasten? Do I already have that now, or is it even possible?

    Anyway, here is my plan in Willowpaw Format (Power/Enhancers/Slotting Levels). All of the generics are level 50. I can't even begin to name the levels for all of the individual set pieces. But I don't think that matters for this question.

    01 => Power Bolt - Kinetic Crash(6) - 1/3/5/17/27/29
    01 => Strangler - Neuronic Shutdown(5) - 1/3/5/7/7
    02 => Bone Smasher - Stupefy(5) - 2/9/11/11/15
    04 => Roots - ACC(2) - 4/9
    06 => Air Superiority - Crushing Impact(5) - 6/19/21/23/31
    08 => Seeds of Confusion - Malaise's Illusions(5) - 8/17/42/42/42
    10 => Swift - RUN - 10
    12 => Hasten - RCH(3) - 12/13/13
    14 => Fly - FLY(2) - 14/15
    16 => Combat Jumping - Winter's Gift: Slow Resistance / Karma -KB - 16/19
    18 => Hurdle - JMP - 18
    20 => Stamina - ENM(2) - 20/21
    22 => Power Blast - Kinetic Crash(6) - 22/23/25/25/27/29
    24 => Power Push - Kinetic Crash(6) - 24/36/37/37/37/39

    28 => Total Focus - ACC / DMG - 28/34
    30 => Vines - Neuronic Shutdown(5) - 30/31/43/46/46
    32 => Fly Trap - Expedient Reinforcement(4) / Call to Arms(2) - 32/33/33/33/43/43
    35 => Power Boost - RCH - 35
    38 => Power Burst - Kinetic Crash(6) - 38/39/39/40/40/40
    41 => Dark Consumption - ACC / ENM - 41/50
    44 => Dark Obliteration - Positron's Blast(5) - 44/45/45/45/46
    47 => Summon Seer - Expedient Reinforcement(4) / Call to Arms(2) - 47/48/48/48/50/50
    49 => Super Speed - RUN - 49
    Your build shows promise, as a benchmark for you to use I shall now once again present the three stages of Permadom Dragonball Z style.

    Enemy: "Why did you stop fighting, tired already?"
    Dominator: "Nope we'll get back to the fight, but you need to learn things about Permadoms starting with the basics. This is my normal state of being..."

    Dominator powers up: "This is a permadom; 70% recharge from IO sets and 6 slot hasten. Your build might be a bit clunky and you risk frequent power crash but congratulations you are a permadom!"

    Dominator powers up again: "This is what is known as a Permadom that as Ascended past being a Permadom, or just call it Permadom 2. 90% recharge from IO's and 6 slot hasten is the minimum for this but you get permadom plus permahasten, a tighter build and fewer power crashes.......but just wait.....it gets even better!"

    Scene cuts to Recluse and his goons:

    GW: "Has he really found a way to surpass an Ascended Permadom? Is that possible?"

    Black Scorp: "Bah! He's just bluffing!"

    Mako: "Yeah, he'd be what: 'Double Ascended'? Big deal"

    Dominator starts powering up: "AND THIS.......!"

    Lord Recluse: "What the.....what's he doing?"

    Dominator: "GOES......EVEN......FURTHER BEYOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Insert 10 minuts of gratuitous yelling as the dominator energizes while everyone is too dumbstruck to do anything.

    Dominator: "Sorry that took so long, but it takes a bit of time to power up like this. In this form, 123% recharge from your IO's and you can throw hasten out the window, and have a razor edged build. This is what I call a Super Permadom THREE"

    Only way to go past this would be to do the Fusion Technique or wait for the Incarnate levels.

    Have fun!

    Of course, you'll be waiting till 38 for any AoE damage but fortunately, the knockdown can give plenty of time to breathe and for your regen to tick over too. And don't forget, the -runspeed of Rooted is another thing that you might find annoying. I tend to do most of my fighting in the regular Stone Armours and I do pretty well. But I tend to think of Granite as my 'high level, big team, huge threat' mode.

    Unfortunately, whatever you throw your inf at overcoming - Run Speed, Recharge or Damage, it's pretty hard to counter all of them unless you're absolutely loaded. But then that's the price for being one of the hardest things to kill in game.
    My stone tanks and brutes have 90% run bonus, maxed armor, approx 75% global recharge and are super strength. Each has a melee power all slotted with Hecatomb and a damage proc in some other attacks for some extra punch.

    Quite delightful........and expensive.
  23. Super-strength/Stone armor. Rage boosts damage by about 80% if I remember the numbers right, leaving a 50% damage boost after factoring in Granite's damage penalty. Of course there is the rage crash......

    This. My triformer PB and WS have Stamina and a proc in Stamina and each form power, thus regardless of what form they are in there is one +end proc always running. My 4 other Khelds are dual formers and use the proc also. Quite handy to have.
  25. Too many people stress out when someone dies.

    Too many people decide to give the person that dies nothing but harassment, especially if it wasn't their fault. Mission 2 of the ITF: ambushes that spawn when a cyst is destroyed can spawn down the tunnel and run to the party or they can spawn on top of the party or some of its members. So let's say an ambush spawns on top of someone and they can't get away from it and get killed, and then certain party members start gettting snarky either in Team chat or on their special TF channel. The person defends themselves from the snarkiness only to be booted from the aforementioned channel and future runs. Nice gestapo mentality.

    Or someone would rather spend time loking for faults in others and accuse others of doing nothing when they may be victims of lag spikes or PC problems, so they get all uppity and harass the person. Not people I'd want to team with.

    Some people would like to dissect other people's characters and then demand that other people will rebuild their toons to the star holders EXACTING specifications IMMEDIATELY or they will be banned from all future runs. Try again, precious. If any no talent, unskilled, arrogant primadonna thinks I or anyone else should burn a respec to satisfy their pathetic ego, they are sorely deluded.

    Someone lags out, comes back dead.

    Someone gets a case of terminal stupidity and does Leeeeeeeeroy Jenkins and charges with their squishy into a mob and gets killed. Or alternatively they decide they need to go afk and park their blaster where the Archnos Flyer is sure to see it and thus get blasted.

    Sometimes an enemy delivers a lucky shot that does two damage types and manages to get past the "no one shot kill code". An unfortunate bit of luck there that can't be helped.

    Or: "Oh you're on a Kheld you will never run with us, Khelds stink blah blah blah". Looks at my 6 khelds all with triple Mo.......guess they don't stink as much as some think. Still AT bigotry can discourage someone from playing.

    The team NEEDS a stone brute/tank.......ok granted that granite armor is nice but it is possible to win a Mo with a non granite brute/tank.

    The team NEEDS a specific AT/powerset......anyone that constantly demands a specific formula of AT's may need to rethink their plan

    Any badge in the game that is so dependent on teamwork. kindness of others, skill of others, etc. needs to be rethought.

    I would rather face an army of Kronos titans on my squishiest character stripped of all enhancers and debuffed then seek a new Mo badge.

    I would rather be stripped of all flight/travel powers and face a fleet of Arachnos Flyers strafing me then seek a new Mo badge.

    I would rather solo a Hami raid then seek a new Mo badge.

    I would rather be on my squishiest character with no enhancers and debuffed facing all of the Giant Monsters at once then seek a new Mo badge.

    I would rather be on my squishiest character with no enhancers and debuffed facing all of the INCARNATES then seek a new Mo badge.

    I would rather spend time trying to tie Lusca's tentacles into bow knots then seek a new Mo badge.

    I would rather watch Highlander 5: the Source which was worse then Highlander 2 then seek a new Mo badge.
