I find that if 2 to 3 team members are of the tough Brute (or equivalent thereof) type, they can keep the Flier diverted to attacking them on the ground while a 4th also handles the ground troops. The remaining team members should get to the air and however around or above it and attack at will.

    Powers like hasten, or a kinetic's speed boost to boost attack rate or even Force of Nature accolade can be quite useful.

    Also when I faced it on a team using my Turbo Stoner, someone from above used an attack that knocked the flier down to ground level so that I and other ground pounders could also smash the flier.

The wife and I can't wait, I was ready to start loading the car right then.

    1. Recheck the spawn code for Jack, ensure that its working properly as opinions on that vary, then increase from 10% to 20% chance spawn rate so that some gamer actually feel like they have a chance.

    2. The Hero/Villain Event Channels: can they be upgraded to differentiate between multiple versions of Grandville or other multi zones when an alert goes off? Also can they be upgraded to include alerts for Eochai and Jack during the event

    Always keep on eye on the Domination icon in your buff bar. When it starts blinking pause for a few moments until Dom recharges and activates again.

    Also at 124% global recharge you don't need Hasten at all.

    Yes but on Auto you still need to watch it when it starts blinking if you are in the middle of an attack with a long enough animation/cast time your dom can crash during the attack.

    I totally understand your point. On the flipside, I like learning as much as possible about the game from other players. I may ask someone why they chose a certain power over another, but I don't necessarily mean that in a negative way. I'm simply asking to see if there's something I may be overlooking--something new I could learn about the game.

    Of course, I'd never call you an idiot if I disagree with your choices. My mother raised me right, I'd call you an idiot in a private tell to another player. LOL JK JK JK

    Or even worse then calling them an idiot for picking a certain power or slotting a power the way YOU the account owner feels it should be slotting on YOUR character is when the rude person starts singling you out for abusive treatment when you refuse to respec YOUR character to THEIR Specifications.

    Secondly, a warning to any blasters out there who havent done it yet - Division: Line is HORRENDOUS, especially with no enhancements AND AT only. no stealth, weak attacks, I'm hating it. And the last mission is in a massive oranbega map. It really is awful.
    However, if there is no other alternative, then we're stuck with it. I've done it once, and now i can only bring myself to do one mission per night.

    EDIT lol I just had to quit half way thru one of the missions after dying for the fourth time. Orange comm officers, drones and mentalists - yuck.

    One other tip for Division: Line - on the first mission, the briefing says to rescue citizens and click thr glowies - you can just ignore the citizens and the mission completes when youve clicked all the glowies.

    This may or may not help you but as an FYI: if you have an empowerment station in your base, the power boosts you get from it are not impeded by things like AT powers Only or No Temp powers or No Ehancements......

    That said I have never, never, never, ever seen someone use their post count or reg date as ways of putting down people; though I have seen people who were losing an argument grasp at straws and attack a person who has been here longer or had a higher post count.

    Won't care either way; but if you truly believe that a loss of post count and reg date will even slow down the douchebaggery for a second, than I will have to say that you are more of an optimist than I.

    I've seen the behavior I've cited on many boards over the years. While I dont beleive for a second that the removal of post counts/reg dates will STOP the behavior you describe I do believe that every little bit helps.

    Well it seems the mechanics for multi auras do exist. Before they removed the aura/visuals from mayhem/safeguard temp powers like the ones from PI, Talos, Brick, and FF you could have them all plus your costume aura and still have a visibile aura bestowed to you from an empowerment station.

    So multiple aura's might well be possible, just a bit of a pain to code
  15. This is indeed great news. The only other change to the combat aura's that I'd love to see (but am not expecting to happen) would be for the aura to still be seen when using certain armor types like Granite.

    Seeing a granite stoner's eyes light up in battle would be nifty.

  17. This sounds like a great idea, even though I'm not a big PvP fan myself.

    However I guess the one part I'm a bit hazy on is when we start to build the alternate configuration if all our current IO's are available to install thus sharing the same IO's between configurations or if its a complete repurchasing of IO's from scratch for the alternate configuration.

    Yes. There are a few bugs with this power that are being worked on. Castle and Back Alley Brawler have both commented on them, and Lighthouse has a sticky post in the Tech Issues forum. Check the Dev & Community Digests for their posts.

    First, my thanks for the update, the booster pack and the game as a whole.

    I'm happy to wait for quality vs a rush that leaves many bugs so take your time.

    However my one question is this: the rumor mill indicates that many of the plans for bases was essentially scrapped..... however the one thing I want to know is this: would one very important change to bases be in issue 13 that would make many base owner/Super Groups happy? That feature being a better security system for item storage; ie: assigning properties to a bin that state only a specific rank can access that bin for withdrawl? Or something similar?

    2. setting any form of # of kills will be affected by usage of the Self Destruct power.

    I think he other arc is better, Master of Destruction.

    There's still a Kill All, but Wyvern are a bit easier than Longbow. The other 2 missions are 7+2 destroyable targets, which is a lot less headache than trying to keep those trigger-happy prisoners alive.

    also, the 2nd mission in Breakout is in Mercy, which can be a pain with no travel powers.

    Mileage varies But seriously Ill look at the arc you suggest and try it a few times. As to the Zig Breakout....well granted you are supposed to rescue at least one prisoner but if they all die the mission fails and you move to the 3rd mission and can still get the challenge badges.

    Darn shame that everytime I run the arc those poor prisoners just don't seem to make it out

    Well many think of Capt America when Shields come to mind, however the description is that your shield will protect the whole party as well as you, which implies the ability to project a forcefield......and that reminds me of the shield that Cavalier used in the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon.

    You should have seen this coming though and I don't blame them one bit for doing it. There would be people out there that would make story arcs containing nothing but delivery and glowie click missions for huge amounts of XP to powerlevel themselves.

    Oh I agree to be honest this wasnt unexpected by me. BUT as far as things like the "Kill x-amount of target" badges, there are some villain badges that are a royal pain, with the Weatherman badge for Outcasts being one of them. So if I work on creating a villain storyarc and part of it is a mission that has nothing but Outcasts in it to defeat, there will be many unhappy campers when they see no badge meter progress.

    Luckily the story arc I have in mind revolves around something other then mass PL. I'll let others make such missions if they can.
