Quote:Yeah, I'm reserving judgment on GR pending a lot of information about its content and what will become of badges earned plus of course the dreaded day jobs.Congrats, Nericus!
I'm looking forward to mine being done (blue-side) soon as well, although as others have pointed out, for good or ill I'm 99% certain there will be at least a handful of DJ badges added with GR...
My primary Blue toons still should be done before GR comes out but they have a few to go. -

Quote:Ty, Turg! Also I share your feelings about the Day Jobs. They are a good thing to keep retired alts busy with, but by and large I am not a fan of them.I hope they're kept to a minimum. I'm tired of parking my toons constantly, and it's turned me off badging by and large.
And, OP: Grats!
Oh as an FYI when you are seeking to charge the accolades that give weapons, it takes 10 days logged out to reach full charge for them, you get 10 days of logged out time built up on the normal dayjob badge, and also a fully charged 2 hour duration Expert version of that dayjob badge.
Example: Demagogue: gives inf bonus I believe for completed missions. Log out in arachnos building in PO for 10 days and you then have a charged weapon and 2 hours of Expert Demagogue PLUS the normal demagogue badge.
Day job weapons can also be dual charged; for example if one accolade says you can log in an arachnos base to charge it and another says the same thing for a different weapon/ability, they will both hit their max charge in 10 days if you log in the area that both accolades refer too. Max charge for Day Job weapons/abilities varies per weapon. -
Quote:Probably but there is a symmetry to midnight in a graveyard. At this point though, I don't care, I'm just glad the things are done.Good for you! But it might have been a tad more appropriate to be earning the Midnighter one at midnight tonight...
Now only one non-vet badge remains................ -
As of midnight my time tonight, the final shiny dayjob shall ding upon login of my prime villain badge hunter. Rather appropriate timing given that it is the Mortician badge and that he must be in the graveyard to get it.
Or to use the voice of the Deus Ex Machine from Matrix Revolutions "IT IS DONE!" -
I'm down for this, L50 Peacebringer.

Changes to electric armor that added the healing power made it necessary to revise the design paradigm of the builds. Been testing the 5th generation version of these on Test when time permits (the builds you located were the first generation designs.) As to viability of the build: I'll leave that for you to judge if you decide to do this. My suggestion is to build up the funds and IO's then copy over to Test server and try it out. There is no ETA for if or when I'll post updated builds so feel free to fiddle with it in Mids Hero Planner to make any changes you feel are good for your character and playstyle.
First through third generation designs were mostly successful however their successes were countered by some failures; one of which was rather unforeseen thus necessitating a redesign. The 2nd Generation corrected the aforementioned failures but still felt lacking thus again a redesign to the third generation. A few suggestions from a friend that was running tests on their own electric brute concordantly showed that one final redesign was an apropos decision at the time. However, the 4th generation was designed right before the electric armor received it's new heal power and thus was concordantly revised into the 5th generation model. Results so far have been.....interesting. -
It all depends on the circumstances.
1. Was on a MoITF and received the star after the team lead crashed. Upon the return of this person they asked for the star back, while in the middle of combat. Normally I don't chat in the middle of a fight with a mob of cimerorans, but of course this person gets their antenna bent and then rudely demands the star back. After the fight I tell them that I am not chatty in the middle of a fight, and that per TF/SF design the star cannot be passed. This person then began to get obnoxious about the matter and then started screwing around by nearly getting themselves killed thus denying the Mo badge to the team. I asked them to stop and received a response that was immature to say the least, so I tossed them.
2. Leading an LGTF, had an invul brute that seemed to enjoy hitting their unstoppable power and not getting out of the battle to safe spot when the crash came. This person refused to go to the hosp or use a wake and demanded the healers rez him or they would just lay there and leech. They got tossed. -
Quote:Cust. Service and I are going round and round about a problem with my transfers restocking or I'd been there.Freedom is fine, as long as there are enough willing people to participate... The main point of this was to get the "Kheld heavy-hitters" together for some fun and mutual learning off of eachother, and to just plain play together for once... I can get an all-Kheld iTF together on Freedom with almost no warning or scheduling whatsoever at any time... I was mainly trying to get everyone I normally talk with in this section of the forums here together for some in-game play/discussion, before the "free server transfer" offer goes away (possibly for good).
Up to you guys!

Quote:More then likely it's a one off due to the approaching holiday weekend and they want to give the servers a check before the long weekend.Queue Wilhelm scream.....
Niviene are you guys out to get me? Last week on our regular Tuesday nights play and as we are about to get kicked off for the third week in a row due to a patch I said to my playing partner "hey how about we switch to wednesday nights for playing instead of Tuesday? That way we never have to worry about getting kicked off again." He thinks for a bit and says "Yeah, I think i can rearange things to do that. Lets start next week."
And what happens? This week there is no patch on "patch" night and instead there is one tonight. I'm starting to get paranoid... Has the patch day been changed or is this just a once off? -
It's all speculation at this point. Let's wait and see after GR beta starts and some data becomes available.

There is an alternative strategy you can try. My teams have used it with some success, but of course it only takes one screwup to lose the Mo badge.
1. Clear entire map, kill the AV's to energize the machine.
2. Claim your extra powers then everyone gets off to the side with the Brute standing in front of the machine to taunt/intercept Reichsman.
3. EVERYONE opens their Ouro portals then waits until Reichsman summons the ambushes. Everyone then immediately leaves with the brute leaving last to help ensure no squishy gets blindsided.
4. Reenter the map and set up in the beginning area of the map. The ambush comes to you and you can fight them without Reichsman around. Once the ambushes are stopped, return to Reichsman's room, he should then summon the next wave. Ouro out again and repeat.
Other things:
A dom gains the power to hold everyone on the map, the Corr can then unleash the Scirocco patron power on the trapped enemies to help sweep them.
If your Dom is a perma mind dom, they can always hold/sleep/confuse ambushers which can help and can at times affect Reichsman, always a plus. Dom should keep Reichsman asleep while everyone fights off the ambushes. -

Ah yes, another small detail......Day Job Accolades that provide weapons can be dual charged. For example:
Physician grants Revive Ally and you can log off in a hospital or university to charge it.
The Crey Scientist accolade redside grants sleep grenades for logging off in the Crey building in Nerva or a University....
Log off in the university for 10 days to charge both to maximum. Please note: this isn't the same as standing in an overlap spot to gain multiple dayjobs, this is logging out in a spot where both badges are designed to give you weapons.
Also of course logging in those spots will grant more time to the normal Dayjob associated with them also. -
-
For those that may not know yet, a dayjob or day job accolade that provides a weapon with x-amount of charges will reach maximum charge in 10 days. However the max charge amount varies per weapon. Revive Ally maxed at 15 charges, smoke bombs at 30, sleep grenade at 20...
Edited to correct Revive Ally charges....thought 18 seemed an odd number. It's 15. -
Quote:Yes I'd be available Dec 26/27.Ok, the post has been modified to add your names...
I think now that the "general consensus" (for the most part) is Champion as a starting point, we can start discussing days/times...
This really is the ideal time, as *most* people have some "off time" from work for the holidays... What about the weekend after Christmas? After you've already gone through the "hoop-la" of Christmas with your families? Would you still have a day or two off work after that to work in a "Kheldian Day?"
