I know what the OP is saying, though.
Every other MMO I've ever played has the player's level clearly visible on the main GUI. I don't see why CoX can't do the same, even if it's only inside a small circle at the left end of the exp bar, it would be better than nothing. -

I still posit that Gravity is just the slowest maturing set. The problem is you need wormhole slotted heavily for recharge and singy out. Once you have those two things you have much greater control capabilities.
Also, TA and Storm synergize far greater than anything else. The ability to put down damage/debuff fields and pull more enemies into them at will without doing repel-herding is amazing. It's not just about extra controls but about wormhole being more than an aoe hold and the true go-to tool in the set.

Don't overlook /Rad's synergy. Damage/debuffs as well, and even better, single-target control of the anchor with a hold and DS to protect it from those annoying "oooh, it glows! kill it!" teammates. -

I think Gravity/Rad is the way to go also.
The tools that /Rad brings help you just about as well as the team. Also, it includes the ability to heal yourself, which you say that you like. Finally, Gravity is known for being crappy at AoE control until the late 20s, but the combo of Crushing Field and Radiation Infection will serve you well as regular, bread and butter, quasi control and mitigation every single fight.

My Grav/Rad is 42 now, the furthest I've gotten any controller, and it's been a pretty easy ride so far. Enervating Field really helps Grav's lackluster damage, too. My only problem seems to be I never (well, rarely) get hit, so those damage-taken badges are gonna be a bear to get
I really like Grav, despite what all the naysayers say about it. I'd like to try it with /Kin or /Storm next. But I know those will be tougher without the security blanket I've enjoyed with /Rad.
I know this is a ways off for you, but I finally decided on Primal Forces as my epic pool, solely for Power Boost, the power every controller wants. Of course, Temp Invulnerability will come in handy, and the -KB aspects of Grav make the energy blasts less of a problem. I don't really need Conserve Power, amazingly enough. -

That map contains 7 objectives.
But I found the source of this problem. It appears that I had the enemy difficulty set to Single for this objective. Single is bugged in that it puts no guard enemy next to the Destructible Object. The guard enemy *must* be defeated before you can attack the Destructible Object. So, Any setting (Easy, Medium or Hard) will work, but Single will not work. When I changed the setting to Easy, then one guard enemy appeared and after defeating that enemy, I could destroy the object. Later I went back and bumped it to Hard, which put three guard enemies next to the object.

That's not quite correct; the guard enemy must be attacked before the destructible object (possibly damaged, not just attacked; I'm not sure, since I never got a complete miss while testing). I was testing the one arc I'd published (#19340, "Through a Portal, Darkly", plug plug), and I found that if I targeted the guard(s) and opened up on them with Full Auto, M30, or Buckshot, the destructible object would a) take damage and b) become targetable.

I can't see the LFM for regular teams because the LFM for Farms is so thick it's blowing them off broadcast. Same as what happens in PI.
And no, farms would not be a permanent fixture if the devs would just grow a spine and do something about them.
Frankly, I don't care if you farm. You can play your game as boring as you want to. Stop spamming broadcast with it and I wouldn't care a whit about it. -
When my Boss is defeated in one mission, he mentions something about a bomb they planted. Then the Destroyable Object Objective starts and a Rikti Bomb gets placed somewhere on the map, and Find and destroy the Rikti bomb! shows in the Nav window.
So far, so good. The problem is that when I find the bomb, I can target it, but I cannot damage it. When I try to attack it, Invalid Target keeps popping up. My Destroyable Object is not destroyable. What's going on and how can I fix this? -

Under the Navigation Text for the collection, put "Rescue the Captive!" (or whatever) - the clue they get from the collection can tell them the person has been moved. Then, you can set up a Boss and have "This Mission Goal is created when..." set to "Collection: Clue is completed" (or whatever you call your collection)!

This is why I like Staggered. I usually get a mix of even enemies to +2 enemies. I rarely get a -1 on Staggered. -

I think it was more to complain that the farming missions are already starting to drown out the real content in the MA. See, people wouldn't have issues with farmers if they weren't disrupting normal gameplay. You can play the game the "wrong" way all you want as long as you're not interfering with anyone else. The problem with farming is that it does interfere, and this is one of those ways.

And another way it interferes is turning every zone with an AE into the next PI. All I hear in these zones anymore (especially Talos, since so many people hang out there) is "AE Farm lfm". You can barely spot the people trying to form real teams, just like in PI. -

How do I get something to display in the Nav window like an objective, that isn't an objective?
For example, I would like to add "Rescue Soandso" to the Nav window like an objective, but when I get to the Boss, he tells me the person I'm looking to rescue has been moved. At that point, I want to remove "Rescue Soandso" from the Nav window as an objective and replace it with "Defeat Boss".
How can I do this?

When do you crash : Aside from the initial crashing problems with i13 launch, not until today after patch. First time: in the middle of a mission, sound loop bug, lockup, eventual crash to desktop. Second time immediately after: crash when entering mission. Haven't tried again yet, came to forums looking to see if others had the problem.
Does it affect all characters : Don't know, haven't gotten that far
Does it affect only characters in one or more SG/VG : Don't know, haven't got that far
