I know your pain Viv. I live in a college town with a pretty big football team and a fair number of big events. During any of those thing (but especially the home football games), the entire downtown area becomes packed shoulder to shoulder with drunk, idiotic out of towners who don't care about trashing our town. And heavens forbid if you would give any of them a hard time. Or you know, make eye contact with one.

I actually was trying to walk through downtown during a game. I had both hands full at the time, and just trying to get home. I had a guy follow me for three blocks, stepping on my heals he was so close, yelling and screaming at me because I wouldn't shake his hand. Drunk, stinking and stupid, followed me right up to a cop and I reported him for harassment.

There's always the more than likely case that one or more people who signed up won't be able to make it, Rooky.

It's like trying to go after someone with Banner in their name because that's the last name of the Hulk's alter ego... If they were that strict on names, the only options we would have would be things like Captain aaffd;kda. And I know we don't want any more of those.

Anybody got a couple hundred bucks to spend? I just spent all the money I don't have yet from my paycheck today and I need new glasses. My old ones broke last week, and it's about it for them. I got them sorta repaired at the shop, but they didn't have the right parts anymore for my style, and they're lopsided now, and digging into my face in uncomfortable places.

Well past time I should have had my eyes examined again, but I just can't afford the extra expense...

That does rather suck. I don't see any resemblance to any characters I know. Most likely someone reported you and the GM who responded didn't get past 'Marvel' and slapped a generic on it. You could (and I would) send back an email asking for another GM to look it over, politely. Sometimes those decisions are reversed.
