  1. *waves the magic bubble wand*
  2. Well, I am a defender. 'feebly' is about as good as I can manage with my freems.
  3. Nope, I'm ready. I shall bat feebly at him!
  4. *pulls Viv over to the FoC and sets her up with medicines and soup, then starts putting up quarantine tape all around it.*

I'm sorry, but as a representative of the FoC CDC I hearby declare ASAP that this area is officially off limits to all non sickies... Unless you are bringing us tissues, snacks, drinks or hugs.
  5. *curls up next to Yuri on the FoC*

I know just how you feel. Same way I did all weekend. Yesterday was better for some reason, but today.. ugh, already starting with the stuffed sinuses and tiredness.
  6. *gives Scooby some scooby hugs instead*

Sorry, all out of snax. But thanks for the waffles!

*piles up a belgian waffle with whipped cream and lots of strawberries, blueberries and banana slices*

    Morning everybodies!
  7. hmm. We could have a popular new craze here when it comes to cute picture themes... Sacks n Racks. What do you think, could this take off?

*snaps a few shots of Fedor and Wendy and posts them on the interwebs*
  8. Yeah, same price if you bought them online Rooky, and you would have to deal with the pain in the tail feathers Live service. Getting them on disk is a much better deal all around.

Next month Broken Steel and Point Lookout (the one that just came out, that we've been talking about) are being released on disk. Along with the download of DLC #5. Alien abductions, hooo!

    Only comics historians.

Them mutant swamp hill billies are a PAIN. Nothing compared to a reaver though. I gave up using anything gainst the revears aside from my trusty gatling laser canon, Vengance.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The big problem with dealing with the swampfolk and tribals is that they have a special enchant in the game that does extra unresistable damage every time they hit. And they have absurd accuracy with the double barrel shotgun at long range... They're also very tough, a lot of hit points. I put it up to the swamp folk being mutated and the tribals being so blasted out of their minds that they just don't feel pain.

Sooo many ghoul reavers in PL though. I completely ran though my minigun's ammo supply fighting them, I had to go back to DC to resupply at one point. As a side note, I finished up the Broken Steel quest line last night on my main type character. In the presidental metro I ran across a couple of bugged Reavers.

Me and a bunch of robots were clearing out the metro tunnels, except for two reavers that were spazzing out. Their upper bodies were shaking very rapidly like they were having a seizure, and they were completely immune to damage. I burned two clips from Wanda into one and didn't do anything at all. They ripped apart all my robots and I had to retreat into another room, through a cell-change door. Fortunately, when they followed me they stopped bugging out. Instead they just stood there and wouldn't attack while I shot them to peices.

Reavers are bad enough... Damage immune reavers are just plain wrong.
  10. *lays on top of Fey to keep her warm (and within the Comics Code)*

Don't worry Rooky. We'll get you a color by numbers stained glass set.

maybe i dont get your square type dance but...three hands up?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, we ARE talking about mutant hillbillies here....
  12. *returns to the Rookery, wearing a confederate hat with a double barrel shotgun over her shoulder and mud on her boots up to her belt*

Hoooowwwww-deeee! Ya'll were busy while I was out huntin varmits.
  13. yeah, i15 is not Going Rogue. That's going to be an expansion. Think City of Villains, not free issue release.
  14. *sneaks a ghoul ant into Fey's bed*

The ants never bothered me. I can't stand radroaches. I don't fear them, I just can't stand roaches. I break out the shotty and run through the area as fast as I can if there are roaches. And no way in hell am I going to eat radroach meat... ugh *shudders*

Madisen: Yup, we started talking about Fallout 3 again. I blame myself and Bethesda.
  15. *goes around nailing all the boards back into place*

Someone's going to trip on these...

Yeah, I don't know what it was about Herzog that creeped me out so much. I mean, you don't see any lack of skeletons laying around in Fallout... They're largely background noise to me, but seeing him really gave me the creepy-shivers.

I wish I could say that Dunwich creeped me out... but aside from the first time I had a door open up by itself in front of me, it just doesn't. By the time you get to it, I'm used to crawling through near pitch black buildings with ghouls.. which I can pretty much take out in one or two shots anyway (reavers not counted). So it's just not scary. The recordings left behind are nice... but there's no immediate feeling of threat or creepiness to me.

Now if the ghouls had a habit of getting back up again after you shot them....
  16. OOH! I'll bring the stuff to make s'mores! We can invite him out and ask him to toast them, then jump him when he shows up. Efficiency!
  17. I never saw the execution... But then I keep missing the floating books in the Dunwich building too.. Just not looking in the right place at the right time I guess...

One thing that unreasonably creeped me out was finding Herzog in Herzog's mine after Kenny told me about him. I was seriously expecting to see a ghost or something...
  18. Wrong ACME there Emmi. This is ACME, the purveyor of malfunctioning gadgets since 1950!
  19. yes, yes, yes, yes (destroyed it), yes, yes and yes.

I've heard that Ruzka the Dancing bear actually exists in the game (a yao guai with a red ball), but I never saw it... I searched all over the swamp.

Oh, did you dig up the buried treasure? I was kind of disappointed with the smugglers though. There were just kinda.. there. I never saw any particular quest or anything associated with them. One of them kept spawning by Madame Panada too (I loved her voice), so I kept having to go save her.
  20. *sings "I'll be there"*

Camped in front of FrostFire's door right now, all hopped up on enhancements and ready to bubble!

*waves a giant bubble wand over people that looks suspiciously like a Nemesis Staff*
  21. *tussles with the sackboy of many jobs*

I do believe I did them all. I didn't find anymore anyway, and explored everywhere. I even did that crazy safari guy's quest.

"Let's see... you want me to pay you a thousand caps so you can release a bunch of ghouls to attack me? Why should I do that when I can just go to the DC metro and get the same treatmetn for free?"

I loved the ending of the main quest though. Heck the whole thing was great.

Oh, and the reason why Coyote never ordered food? His credit line was only good for ACME.. and even if they sold food, would you trust enough to eat anything they produced?
  22. I've always felt bad for the Coyote. For a super genius, he fell prey to a lot of his own traps. He as just hungry.. is that so wrong?
  23. Yup BP, it released on the 23rd. It's really good too. Big area, several interesting quests, tougher than usual. A bit artificially tough, but I can live with that.

*impatiently waits for Rooky to take the bait, tapping her foot until the cliff underneath her gives way, causing her to plummet down the side, followed closely by the giant anvil. Looking up, she holds up a tiny umbrella and a small sign that reads 'eep'*
  24. *sneaks out on a cliff overlooking the Rookery., pushing a large cartoon anvil with the words ACME on the side. Checking the wind, then looking down to make sure that the pile of birdseed is directly in the middle of the large red X below the cliff, she chuckles evilly and waits for Rooky to take the bait*

Prototype is fun, and the song fit it well. I'm currently playing it right now.. when I can tear myself away from Fallout 3. The new DLC that just came out isn't helping that.. But I just finished a run through it with one character this weekend, so maybe I'll go back to playing an amnesiac super mutant destroying New York today.

I've never played any of the DMC games.. Sad but true. The ones I'm really looking forward to now are Red Faction Guerrilla on PC, Borderlands and Bayonetta.
