Just feeling nostalgic and wondering if I should move. I've really got no reason to stick around here, and my job travels with me. On the other hand, I've also got no reason to be anywhere else either.

*rattles chains again*

Yup, October, my favorite month of the year, for a variety of reasons. I've been missing living up north though. Fall always seem more... Fall-like up there with all the trees changing colors and the cool, yet crisp days. Fields of corn at their peak and lots of decorations everywhere.

*sighs and curls up wistfully*

oh oh OH... I see, I understand now. I was thinking 'fire puppy' in a different.. nevermind.

*hides the flamethrower and pets the cute lil puppy on the head, shooing it away*

Sooo.. yeah anyway. First of the month. Which means I'll be swamped with work. Which oddly enough means the chances of you seeing me will go up because I'm chained to my computer and can only get away a few minutes at a time. Serious, chained. Jacob Marley has go nothing on me. *rattles chains in a spooky way*

*slides over a cup of tea and a donut*

*hops in tiger's back and meows him a happy birthday song*

*pouts* I make a nice fire for everyone to relax around and ya'll just want to throw odd stuff in it. hmph.

Silly BP, books are for reading next to the fire, not throwing into them.

*retrieves the books before they get singed*

*throws a few more sticks of wood into the big ski-chalet style fireplace that's now in the middle of the Rookery. and sets the big old pile of wood on fire with some Fire Breath, chasing away the coldness outside*

There we go. That should keep people roasty toasty today. Morning all, it's starting to get cold outside, at least where I am, so I thought a nice fire to curl up beside would be a good thing. Chefbots have steaming mugs of cocoa to go along with the coffee. Plenty of marshmallows to go around too. We've got sticks for toasting the marshmallows and hot dogs, and chocolate and graham crackers for making smores. Everybody gather around and enjoy.

*feeds Rad some chicken soup as well, then gets a bowl for herself*

I feel so drained today for some reason.

*lays a blanket over Fedor and Tiger and tucks them in with lots of fluids*

You rest there, I'mma make some nice chicken soup for you.

*curls up under the cuddlepile and foodstuffs and naps*

So tired.

*eeps and flees from the wrath of Excalisock, only to get broadsided by a bunch of Reeses Cups*

What a way to go.... oh the pain, the agony.. The delicious chocolate and peanut butter combination...

*hops out of the wooden kitty and whallops Fedor with a sock-blackjack*

You cannot fool me with such obvious tricks!

*the kitteh sock-a-pult goes quiet for a while, and the sounds of sawing and hammering can be heard from the pillow fort. Then an opening appears, and a giant wooden kitty comes rolling out and over to the sackfort*

This is war! As much like war as you can get with socks and couch cushions at least.

*fires off another few rounds, pelting the sack-fort with balled up socks*

*slinks over to the other pillow fort and prepares the sock catapult*

Ah, my enemy the Sackperson, you have taken the bait. Now you shall suffer from.. EPIC TUSSLING!

*fires the catapult, sending a balled up sock into Fedor's fort*

Yeah, but unless there's an outbreak of H1N1 at your school, just being around a bunch of people doesn't mean you'll contract it. It just makes it more likely you'll catch whatever bug is going around, which at this time of year is likely to be a regular old cold or flu.

I mean, I don't know your situation or anything, for all I know you could be at ground zero of the 'epidemic'. It's just that it's right now the big hyper-way-over-the-top sensationalized disease that's 'sweeping the nation', even though the number of regular flu cases far exceeds it. People just like to go 'OMG! You've/I've got swine flu!' at the first sign of a sneeze or snuffle.

Occam's Razor you know, the simplest explanation is likely to be the most accurate, you got the sniffles man. Doesn't make it any less pleasant.

Awww.. Poor Rad. Honestly, I doubt it's H1N1, unless you've got reason to suspect you've been exposed. It's plain old flu season you know.

*gives Rad two pills with instructions to play games in the morning*

*sneaks back out to give Detra two stealth ninja kitteh skooshy hugs*

*Two cats come walking out of the shadows, one turning on all the chef bots and setting them to double speed, the other activating the barista bot and having it dispense double shots in all the drinks today. Two plates with red and white concentric circles are placed carefully on the counter, each reciving a chocolate donut in the center of the target. After making sure the pillow forts are secure and all the FBBCs are fluffed, the cats return to the darkness from whence they came.*

*lays on tiger's back and gives a kitteh massage*

This is why I hate being in charge of people. Because you can't control them.

I'm annoyed. My video card died on me this weekend. I've got an old card in now until my new one arrives, I can't play any games. Even on the lowest settings everything is so bloody slow I can't play. And it actually makes me kind of nauseous about how choppy movement is.

Saddest. Pug. Ever.

I just want to pick him up and cuddle.

When am I ever in game Fedor? Not much. I make it a point to show up at least Tuesday nights, but the static team has gone away now, and nobody in the Rookery. channel ever seems to be doing much. Or at least have any use for a kitteh.

*suddenly becomes flat and wet*
