I'd like to thank everyone for expressing warm wishes and regrets at my temporary absence yesterday. It does mean a lot to me that people will miss me. Fortunately, I shouldn't be gone for long. If I'm a little lucky today, I might not have to leave at all.

I'm not doing that bad. I don't have that much credit, so I'm not like 10-20k in debt or anything like that. I just need to get out from under these horrible fees and get enough money to cover my bills this month.

Yup yup. I really didn't want to get a loan, and not sure if I can or not. But these people have been sending me offers every couple of months of years now. If I can get enough to pay off my credit cards, then I can pay the loan company instead of the card company and not have to deal with those blasted fees.

And yes, this is only temporary, until I get better financial feet under me. To be honest, $15 a month isn't going to be making a dent in my overall finances. It's just that my account is due up again in a couple of days, my credit card is already over drawn and I won't have the money to pay it off by then, likely. I'm going to see about a debt consolidation loan tomorrow. If I get that, then I can pay off my credit cards and not have to worry about those blasted fees that have been killing me.

I've been having the urge to play EQ2 again. I tried it with a friend back when Steam was having some insane deal of the game + all the expansions for $20. I liked it, but he didn't so much. So when the free month ran out I never did a subscription. Still, it was pretty fun when I played. Of course, I can't play right now...

Plenty of free games though. I've got a lifetime subscription to LOTRO. There's DDO too, and Runes of Magic. A very decent WoW clone with a nice mechanic where you choose to classes. I still want a decent (and preferably free) steampunk game though.

I tend to shoot my team mates when the idiots jump directly in front of my gun barrel as I'm mowing down the oncoming horde they're all ignoring...

Whee, to top things off I feel terrible today. To be honest though, I knew it was coming, I was feeling icky all day yesterday. And it's not as bad as I figured it would be. But I'm so tired and achey and my throat is raw from coughing.

Hi everyone. I have some sad news. I've had to cancel my account today. I can no longer afford any MMO subscriptions, at least for now. Between my doctor's visit last week costing more than I expected and continuing to get hit with overdraft fees, I can't keep up payments. I'm very much sweating being able to pay my bills this month, something I haven't had a problem with in many a year.

So, I'm having to go through and turn off everything that is absolutely non-essential. Maybe I can return in a few months, once I get the money monster calmed down. I have a few more days left in this month, but after this week, I won't be able to log in.

It's been a pleasure hanging out with you all. You've helped keep me sane and put a smile on my face more times than I can count. I wish you well, and hopefully we can meet again sometime.

Oddly, I still have bad school related dreams as well. Almost always the same theme, I need to get to a certain class, I'm running late but I can't find the class or anything else in the school I need.
