Wheee! *comes flying outside and explodes into multi colored fireworks*
I can haz cheezburger? -
I have a ton of ideas for new blue side characters in pretty much every archetype but Tanker... So I think I could fill in for whatever. I just need to decide what I want to play....
-
Ashya is my character, and my global is @nekoali. Either one would be fine.
-
*stand up on top of a great waterfall and shakes a fist at Sherlock Puppeh*
Curse you Puppeh! You will never catch the great Meowarty! -
I can be there on the 9th! I would like to come along, if you have room and will have me. Are there any character types that would be useful for me to make up?
As an aside, I wouldn't be able to make the next week the 16th, as that is moving day for me. But I can most likely clear that time other weeks.
edit: So it is for sure going to be starting level blue side characters then? If so, a shame, because I know the character I would like to play, but he's a demon mastermind... I'm planning to have him go good, but you can't do that at level 1.
Of course I probably wouldn't have time enough to finish getting him to 20 either... -
I have a character who would probably fit the bill pretty well too. Ashya is a sorceress who specializes in manipulating life force (she's an emp/dark defender). She is pretty well known by the area's magical community and the Midnighter Club. I am not sure she would be the first be the first person to turn to in the case of an exorcism though, seeing as she is a demon...
However that's a demon in the 'Myth Adventures' sense. She had no connection to those evil demon types you see in game, rather she's a shapeshifting traveler from another dimension that closely resembles stories of Hell. She came to this dimension to escape the endless cycle of war on her own. That and because the life-force of humanity is especially sweet... -
Well, it didn't. Puppeh didn't show up. *rakes puppeh over the coals some more*
Instead I did a Keyes run with someone else. It was fun. Confusing and laggy, but we won without much difficulty. Though I did see the inside of the hospital there a few times.. -

*Glares at Fedor*
Anyway..Anyone a bit insulted at the name 'City of heroes Freedom'..I mean why not 'City of heroes Virtue'?
Don't tell them about Virtue.
Let Freedom get swamped with the 'HAI GUISE HOW I MINE 4 FISH' people, and we will quietly head hunt the quality players brought in by the F2P.
*taps the side of her nose and gives a knowing nod* -
Quote:ooooh, Lovely VG. I was looking for a guide just like this yesterday. So useful.I wrote a guide here if it helps any of you.

I enjoyed the one I was in last night, despite a lot of headless chicken running. Or maybe it was more like herding cats... I didn't know what I was doing at first, lag from all those people (must remember to set settings down before doing it again) made me kind of confused what was going on at first, but I caught on eventually. In the end, I had fun and got prizes, so all was good. I look forward to another.
I was just glad I brought my emp defender. Curse you and your stupid pulses Anti-Matter! -
Alright ya dingos, what's going on here then? Time ta throw another puppeh on the barbie.
*tosses cien on the grill and rakes him over the coals* -
It is time and I am in the RWZ as Ashya... Anyone else there?
-
I so totally need to have the armor. I want to have the auras too... but that armor.. Who wants to take my 50s on some nice Incarnate runs?
-
What? No Catnip!!!!!
*throws over a computer*
Viva la revolution! Down with machines! Who knew that the Luddites had it right all along?
*joins the protests in Cap Au Diable* -
I am willing and happy to join in any Rookery runs, if I am around. Unfortunately life being what it is my schedule is very erratic these days...
-
*grabs Larker the Barbarian Bunny and gives him a shake*
To much ale and wenching there? I wouldn't think you would be that much of a wimp to pass out at the mere sight of Red Neko. Not that you could handle me anyway. -
*kicks the door in and tosses her mane of fire red hair. Light glints off her chainmail bikini as she strides towards the bar, one hand resting easily on a well-used sword*
Tavern keep! A saucer of milk, and make it snappy! -
The information is on the website. Here is the comparison chart showing the difference between account types. Premium players are those who once paid subscription, but are now free to play.

oooh, I like that costume design. Time Manipulation, goooo!
-
huh. I hadn't considered this little thing, but I have a second account, back in the basic days before we could buy character slots... I haven't touched it for years obviously, but I could play it again.. See the free side and the VIP side.
Powerlevel my own characters is goooo! -
Of course I'm friendly! =^.^=
We also have an in game channel, at Rookery. <-- remember to include the dot. -
*flies through the air to land on Sattos' shoulder and give them a hug*
Well, Fedor DID warn you... -
Neko's short short movie reviews:
Pirates: Have not seen it, it got pretty much universally bad reviews as just a retread of the first movies as a cash grab.
Green Lantern: Good, not great. An adequate telling of the origin story. The various alien Lanterns came out well, but we don't see a whole lot of them. Picking Paralax as the first big bad guy was a bad idea. He was trumped up as this huge danger to the Corp, then Hal beats him solo...
X-Men: A good movie. Better than the last two X-franchise movies. Story changes and casting is full of WTF in a big way. Seriously? Kevin Bacon as Sebasian Shaw? As typical for super movies, they could have done with a little less mutant talky and a little more mutant fighty. Would having a danger room session kill them? -
Wow.. lots of epic long time players coming around again. So very cool. I don't plan on leaving Virtue. It has been my home for 99% of my CoX career. Unless it turns into a complete hive of scum and villiany, (wait... redside already is...) I am not going anywhere. I will probably transfer over a character or two to the VIP server.. but mostly so I can free up more character slots here on Virtue.

They have a bunch of pages up for it on the website Fedor, you can get all the details there. The short version of it is that free people gain access to 8 archetypes and most of the power sets plus two character slots. (Per server or total? dunno) They also have access to most but not all the zones.
VIP subscription people get all the archetypes, all the powers, all the zones. Including a new special area where they will be having an evolving monthly storyline that only VIPs get to participate in. They will also get 400 reward points per month that they can spend in the reward store. All of the veteran awards are being moved to the reward store. You can then spend your reward points (the freebies for subscribers or bought through cash) to get what used to be veteran awards, plus more stuff that they are going to add. We'll probably see the costume packs and such added to it as well. Sounds like you will keep everything you've already earned/bought though.
