it sounds alright, however its extremely doubtful to get more than 1 respec from them for 2 reasons
 - changes their plan for them, the devs originally planned for each trial to award only a single respec period, no more no less
- they would have to altar the villain trials too so they could award multiple respecs too

the trials should not be made harder as they should be doable by toons running on gimped builds needing the respec
-
if you right click on the icon in the incarnate window you can look at the detailed info which shows all the powers they have

a large majority of the info is not posted anywhere due to the sheer amount of it

i have many personal farms in AE that i use if i wanted to farm in AE, but i also have plenty of different toons with normal farms to switch around to what i feel like and when

for non AE i have toons with the snake, liberate tv, and eliminate demons farm mishs

for AE, i have maps built for fire armor, elec armor, ice armor, anything good vs smash/lethal, lowbie, and one which has a ton of very easy AVs with the mob built for smash/lethal
-
the softcap to foes on an incarnate trial is around 59% def, so you would still be WAY over that without slotting for defense on kuji in retsu
-
when me and my friend go on GM sprees we usually use this, both of our toons are decked out with IOs

when we are killing stuff, we even went into the abyss and would kill DE monsters (we could handle up to group of 2 fairly easy, just took awhile to kill 70,000 hp)
-
sunstorm always felt like a fairly generic PPD PB thats an EB/AV

on the arachnos side of things, kind of got me there, i think the only signture that looks fairly generic would be regent korel for AVs, and i think there is an EB ranked bane spider executioner (night widow nocturne is pretty good for generic night widow, but that will limit your arc to a specific lvl range)

thats all i can think of though but i know it doesnt cover as much as we could do with custom enemies
-
to counter just a single quartz you would need +100% def, to be still soft capped to the mob you would need 150% or more def

the only way to counter more than 1 quartz would be to hit the defense cap, but you would not be soft capped to the mob (they would just have a normal hit chance) (stalker defense cap 200.38% at 21+, NPC tohit cap is 200.35% at lvl 50)
-
no probs here, but then again i dont use time cards

if your account expired then you just applied the card, it might take a little for it to process (just throwing out guesses here lol)

Quote:exactly, fair split being 60 villains 40 heroes, then it will even things outThe stats they gave us for the 7th anniversary.

And the devs still insist on givng us a even 50-50 split for all new content, meaning that the blue side is getting 10% less that it deserves, and red side is getting 10% more than it deserves.
Hopefully in future Issues the devs will give us a fairer split to reflect the population sizes of the 2 factions, instead of treating them both equally.
-
the only problem i have with seeing 2xp more often is that it wouldnt be a special event anymore, it would become the norm, and then once thats norm the players would then ask for more events and it just wouldnt work

it would be nice to see 2xp more than 2x a year, but its also nice that 2xp is not too often because then it wouldnt be special

if 2xp became the norm, you would see the same population balance as it is on non-2xp weekends, also making 2xp the norm would drive market inflation through the roof since everyone would be raking in a LOT more inf but not getting any more drops than normal
-
the only time i usually talk about it is when someone is asking a question about it

i usually reserve all other talk about AE to the MA arc finder channel
-
Quote:/thisThe problem is your perception. I Like the redside and hate blue side.

i despise playing blueside, as soon as GR came out the first thing i did was make all heroes i had into full villains

the blue zones IMO are awful, they are massive and travel times are much longer than anywhere redside, the zones are too bright for me, i prefer the darkness of redside, the blue tfs are immensely more boring than redside ones (although i would prefer more redside sf's and GMs)

the upcoming changes to mercy story arcs in i21 are fantastic, makes me feel more like a villain than the old content did

being earth in particular you shouldnt have problems perma mezzing a spawn and keeping things locked down so i would focus more on defense, tough should be enough to divert most dmg that comes through

my earth/fire dom has < 12% defense and almost no resistance to anything and i can still run x6 or higher spawns fairly easy because i can perma stalagmites and with perma dom that stuns entire mob including bosses, i usually use earthquake as more mitigation and quicksand to keep things from running and let my stone pet take most of the aggro

for a dom the primary thing to build for is perma dom, once you have perma dom you will be able to lock spawns down easy and a large majority of aggro wont even come your way, defense would be the second thing to build for since it would help divert some of the incoming dmg
-
Quote:i mentioned a couple posts up to get perma without hasten you need ~125% global rech, if you dont mind constantly popping hasten then ~110% is what you would need for both perma hasten and perma domWell, cost is all well and good. I mean, I have merits, H/V Merits, Astrals, Emp Merits, and inf. Making a stable platform for my dom(s) will be paramount.

How much recharge do I need, if I have hasten 3 lvl 50 rech slotted, in order to have perma-dom anyway?

what you have now *might* be able to maintain perma dom, but you would HAVE to activate hasten as soon as it was recharged, lot of micromanagment though

usually tough should be enough to cover your resistance needs because with the dark embrace your getting like 56% smash/lethal, but barely anything to other resist types (minor amounts to toxic and such)
-
now im at my computer and had a chance to look at your build in mids, it looks like you will be skimming on perma dom, it also looks a tad low in terms of defense, smash/lethal are only reading at around 26% which helps, but wont be too noticeable

if you want i can try to see what i can do with the build, idk how well i can keep the cost down (most poeple who know me know i tend to make semi expensive builds lol), just be sure to list powers that you would definitly like to see such as a specific travel power or epic pool
-
true, but i figure they would want more time to iron out any remaining bugs since this is almost a complete revamp, while GR was nothing more than a big issue (i dont even really consider it an expansion since praetorians only go up to 30 and they arent even a real faction since they are essentially forced to leave at lvl 20)
-
when you start as a villain you start in breakout until i21 introduces the new tutorial

if you work in praetoria you can choose to go villain at lvl 20 and then when you can get to ouroboros you can just run the pilgrims arc to get into the villain tutorial map to get the badge
-
the avid reader badge can be gotten outside the tutorial by talking to prometheus after you have completed at least one incarnate trial (any trial)

Quote:i think the head start period would be longer than 5 daysI think that a few days before this happens, they'll post a message saying, "Hey everyone the VIP head start starts this Thursday!" On Thursday, the VIPs will be able to log into Exalted. In the meantime, they'll also be posting hot and heavy that CoH: Freedom will be live the following Monday. Then the following Monday, we'll have extended maintenance on all non-Exalted servers (possibly even Exalted, if there are any minor patches that need to be applied), and then the free and premium players will be able to log in.

my guess is they will have the head start period for around 2 weeks just ot make sure all the kinks are ironed out then they will open it up to everyone

Quote:with the new lowbie sewer trial on the way in i21 i think yins shop is gonna lose a lot of business lolOne important thing that origin affects is what Yin SOs (13/17/21) you can use:

 Natural and Mutant: Damage
 Magic: Accuracy
 Science: Recharge
 Tech: Endurance Reduction

These actually provide a significant boost for low level characters starting at level 10. Or, at least the Damage, Endurance, and Recharge SOs do, accuracy not so much due to Beginner's Luck.

And great thing is, Villains and Praetorians have access to these via the email system now.

These definitely make the low levels much more bearable depending on which ones you can use.
-
heh i was there on my ill/cold troller, was pretty funny

i also think your font looks pretty neat lol
-
since i cant fully look over the build, it looks like your not using purples, while it will be possible to still get perma dom that way, it is a lot harder and makes the build tighter

a quick FYI, perma dom requires around 125% global rech, with hasten you can usually get perma dom and perma hasten at around 110% rech (i personally like to perma without hasten since i can only put 1 power on auto, i mostly use hasten at that point to give me a nice large buffer for -rech)
-
the only comments i can make on this right now is the basilisk gaze chance for rech slow is kinda pathetic and barely if ever noticeable and i would switch it out for something else

also on your flight power it has the BOTZ kb protection, if you are aiming for perma dom, you wont need it since domination has kb protection, i would switch that to a winters gift IO for slow resist (-rech can make you lose domination when perma, slow resistance will help prevent it)

ill take a closer look at the build a little later when im at comp with mids on it lol
