IIRC only affect self means it would turn off supremacy, i believe PFF also turns off supremacy as well

im currently running a dark/energy blaster, dark pairs very nicely with powerboost (-tohit is huge, immob of teneb tentacle is very long and so is the hold on abyssal gaze)
umbral torrent is good for keep mobs away from you and off your feet and teneb tentacle keeps them from running back to you, due to the large number of cones in the set boost range is also very effective
due to the large number of DoTs aim + build up then umbral torrent a spawn and slap gloom on one guy, abyssal gaze on another, teneb tentacles and then gloom another guy and they will all die around the same time -
Quote:the combat log shows total dmg the power dealt, not limited by hpGood point. Two 30% debuffs ought to do the trick then. A couple tar patches, enervating fields, etc. Has to be non-damaging of course. Probably want a non-damaging mez to keep the level 1 from running while this is going on too. Build Up and some red insps and you're capped. Guess it wouldn't be that hard.
One problem, is that you may only see the high damage in the floating damage numbers above the target's head. I think the combat log will only show how much damage the target took, which is limited by its hit points. Not sure about that though.
also slows are extremely effective vs low lvl baddies, 1 infrigidate and the guy will basically not be able to move -
Quote:i have a time/fire defender at lvl 46 right now, when he was like lvl 38 or something i was running mishs with lvl 50 friend who had mish at +4, my friend was a brute and ran off and promptly died, i got the leftover aggro and actually ended up killing off a mob of +5 longbow by myself (this was like a x6 mob too), that was pretty amazing and my friend who died watched the whole thing and just amazed at what i just did (i was pretty suprised about it too, but perma powerboosted farsight + veng really helps lol)Time/Fire defender, although it's still low level and started a mere few days ago, mostly because I still haven't come to terms with how uber time is, also because [Fire Blast]'s animation has been fixed faster than I expected, and fire blast (the powerset this time) is just so fun even on defender damage.

energy manipulation is definitely good for pure ranged output since its full of click buffs

because the power is using a pseudo pet the proc would only have a chance to trigger on you when you spawned it, after that any other chances to proc would only affect the psuedo pet and essentially do nothing

i personally have multiple ATs at 50 so i can switch as needed and just more variety
dominators are excellent control and dmg, corrs are like defenders but deal a ton more dmg, brutes are basically a combination of scrapper and tank so depending on build can fill either roll
personally the best thing i would rather take on a tf is buff/debuff- rad emission, cold domination, thermal, ect especially cold dom is very team friendly and has a lot of strong debuffs -
Quote:if you dont like them i would suggest getting the Coin-B-Gone which is the best current solution for dealing with the coins(None of this explains why Null hasn't been given the power to get rid of those #$%@# floating coins yet...)

Quote:i think it would be perfectly viable, divine avalanche would basically softcap you to smash/lethal with only 1 use once you have granite, and brute fury would take care of the dmg aspectI mean, I'm sure it's not going to be a powerhouse combo by any stretch, but if I were to make one of these, would I be pulling my hair out within a week or two? Does anyone have one of these, and if so, do you like it?
I'd probably aim for having a decent amount of +Runspeed bonuses in my build, once Def and Recharge are taken care of, but will the combo leave me with not enough offense on a Brute? -
i like the idea to just call them, but i dont like the idea to do a mish for them, just auto grant them as a contact in something like "options" tab on contact window so they are there but not in the way

Quote:to help throw out some numbers it would cost 2250 pts per account which is about $30 of points per account for 5 sets on each, actually if you got 6 sets per account it would be almost exactly $30 (would have 20 pts leftover then)I doubt we'll see it soon Doc- They stated at the beginning of 21.5 Beta that TW wouldn't be included, so I'm expecting it 2-3 weeks after 21.5 release...
and 450 at 50% off!! OUCH!! Now I gotta decide.. do I have the cash to buy 5 sets on all 3 accounts... hmmm
$15 = 1360 pts
2x=2720 pts
6x sets = 2700 pts -
Quote:/this, i know it was there when i went to it within the last 6ish months or soThere was a thread about it recently and people claimed that it was still possible. Last time I did it (a while ago), there was a door on Rikti Monkey Island in Peregrine that is partially buried in land. If you log out near the door, then log back in, your character will exit the door and get stuck in the land. Typing /stuck puts you underneath the map and from there you can fly to the blue room (it's under the Arena).

hmm, well if you bought it from a store thats within driving distance i would just try to take it back and/or ask for another copy
if you ordered it online from a retailer, if they have a store locally you should try to do the above
if you got it from another site like amazon or ebay then you may be SoL -
im sure it would be more work than its worth, but on the main chart you could prolly scrap the question about if i21 has launched yet since its clearly live now lol

achilles proc is excellent in it, force feedback will not be useful in it at all
if your short on slots just go with achilles proc and rech IOs, if you have more slots achilles proc + IO set for the dmg/rech and set bonuses -
the reason it was disallowed use in bases and mishs is cause it downloads the entire contents of the market on to the instance your in which causes a lot of stress on the server
i doubt it will be coming back ever -
Quote:character items are for a single character, so you would have to claim individually, it most likely has multiple charges that you can claim but it is not account wideSorry, but can you help me a bit more....
So I can claim shotgun for every character after one purchase?
Or I can claim only one shotgun on only one character? (and only one wolf whistle on one character etc)
Or I must claim all of the pack on only one character. -
they are ALL character items which are claimed per character

i think the show is hilarious because its so relatable, for me its the ONLY sitcom that ive ever really enjoyed watching lol
my GF thinks im pretty close to sheldon, and my parents have told me that their group of people are basically me, a friend, and 2 of my cousins cause were all really that nerdy lol -
Quote:a few corrections here-the 5th column gladiator is now granted either by having both anniversary badges OR running barracuda sf OR running dr kahn tfI think they made a change recently where the 2nd Anniversary badge that rewarded the 5th Column gladiator badge is now awarded for those who didn't previously qualify for it (I think it was both of the first two years anniversary badges).
I'm having trouble finding the arc that allows you to run Aaron Thiery's arc flashback blueside, even though his arc is on the flashback list, it says you have to complete some other arc to unlock the contact before Ouro will allow you to run it (which seems pretty stupid to have an available arc in the mission list that isn't actually available).
about the new arcs requiring the prereq arcs even through ouro flashbacks was really annoying, i dont believe its a bug but it may be (it wasnt highly mentioned in the beta) -
Quote:/this, and if your running solo on very low diff like x1 you could potentially kill enough fir bolg that there wont even be 30 on the map to fail the mishNot quite.
If you pick the right one at the right time, you can watch the static spawns start legging it toward the portal. Which is why my favoured tactic on that mission with a team is to leave half the team guarding against the runners, while the other half deals with the static spawns.
Not failed that mission yet, and I've been through it a dozen times at least over the years.
If all you're doing is waiting for the runners, then the mission will feel like it's never going to end, because the waves of runners are so spread out over time, and there are a lot of spawns on that map. However, I have done the mission just through the application of patience and waiting for runners... it took a while. -
i would have to say no to this because A) he wouldnt fit in the building and B) this suggestion is clearly to grief poeple
